I did some research and tried to get rid of them myself but it turned into a much larger project than expected. I called and asked for a ballpark quote over there Phone which they said they couldn't provide without seeing the area in question, but trust offered to put me on hold and checked back in a few minutes later to offer someone to come out within the next couple of hours. Not only did our tech Nick walk up to the door on time(!) But he also me know that we also had these bees in my mailbox post and he did a thorough check of all of the wood on my property, and found bees and homes in other areas of the playset I had missed the first time around. He was extraordinarily knowledgeable and took the time to listen and answer all of my questions and give me more info on how to prevent the bees from returning again. (Apparently carpenter bees are notorious for coming back again and again and again if you don't plug the holes too). I felt the pricing was fair and better than some of the other over the phone quotes I received. I really felt some of the other companies heard the words "children, playset & bees" and hair tried to take advantage of me/$$. I can't say enough great things about this company and Our Tech Nick in particular. I've already referred a few friends to them as well in the week that has passed bee-free.

He laid both snap traps and glue traps, leaving them in boxes which I appreciate because when our condo association has someone come in a few years ago they just left glue traps out in the open (yuck). They worked... we heard them go off within a couple days, which I guess is a good thing. We had him come back a couple times to check them so I can feel not gross in my house. Very professional, and he didn't take long to do his work; he also suggested getting the door sweep replaced. He also came in an unmarked car and whatnot if you're looking for that sort of thing rather than an Orkin or something that are going to tell everyone what's up.
