Hi , my name is Peter ( the cutest chihuahua) and my owners left town and thought they were dumping us with the Critter Sitter. The truth is that if I had thumbs and an Amex I would send them away more often. After a week with our fabulous Critter Sitter I feel more relaxed and confident. They always show up on time, exactly when they promised! A week with unlimited belly rubs and snuggles is exactly what I need. Maria comes by during the day to lets me smell the flowers and stretch my legs. My brother is afraid of the dark so Sarah is there to make dinner and keep us company. I am now on meds but the Critter Sitters have this covered! Now if only the owners would take my brother, Duke The Dog with them I could have the Critter Sitter all to myself! I am not good at sharing. P.S. apparently they send Mom a bunch of updates because she showed me all the messages after she got home.

Sarah is awesome! I've had her watching my cats for several years now. She genuinely loves animals and it shows. I appreciate the photos and texts she shares when I travel - it keeps me connected to my furball no matter where I am. Most of all - Sarah is trustworthy. I'm a private person and I take access to my home seriously. I feel comfortable with her coming to my home while I'm away. There are lots of folks who can care for your pets. Heck, there's probably a kid in your neighborhood who's offered to walk your dog or watch you cats. But when you think about how much your pet means to you --- go with someone you can trust.

My husband and I have never had a dog before so we were a little unsure when we decided to adopt our maltipoo puppy, Teddy. Since we both work during the day, we asked Sarah to come by to check on our little guy mid day and give him fresh food, water, and have some play time. She has gone above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Here are just a few of the things we have really appreciated: 1) We were having issues with the potty pad and Teddy beginning to chew it. Sarah stopped by Petsmart on her way over and purchased a pad holder so that he could no longer mess with the pad and chew it. 2) Sarah helped us determine a better food source for Teddy by recommending a few good puppy foods. Sure enough, the food helped Teddy gain the weight that the vet mentioned he needed to gain. 3) We were unsure how to clip Teddy's nails, so Sarah recommended a pair of clippers that she has had success with and then proceeded to show us how to do it. 4) Sarah noticed some behaviors in Teddy that were odd and mentioned to us that he might have an ear infection. Sure enough, we took Teddy to the vet and he had one. We would have NEVER known if it weren't for Sarah's expertise! These are only some of the things Sarah has done for us... I know for a fact that Sarah is extremely knowledgeable on dogs and has a beautiful energy that makes our little guy adore her. She's trustworthy, reliable, and has made us better dog parents in the short time we have known her. I would not hesitate to recommend Critter Sitters to anyone in need of someone to care for their furry family members!

Sarah is an excellent dog sitter and loves our Roxy and Roy. Use her every time. She goes out of her way to pay close attention to every detail.

One of the many photos Sarah sent me from her visits!

Sarah is probably a reliable dog walker, but she doesn't have the maturity needed for overnight stays yet.

I was originally introduced to this veterinary hospital by my dog trainer, Vladae from SoCal Dog Training and I'm very glad I followed that recommendation. Over the years, Dr. Wheaton and his team have taken excellent care of my chocolate Labrador, Bruno. Now with my new puppy, Nico, also a chocolate Lab, choosing Alicia Pet Care Center again was an easy decision. Dr. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, he is straightforward and trustworthy which is rare and very valuable. Their extended hours, including full-day Saturdays, make scheduling very convenient. They also offer a drop-off service, which is incredibly helpful when things get busy. Overall, a reliable, a bit pricey, but professional, and honest veterinary clinic. Thank you, Dr. Matthew and team.

She recommends unnecessary procedures while using fear tactics, which is a shame. The backup vet was very incompetent. She recommended the wrong solutions and suggested imaging that cannot detect soft tissue issues. She never asked any history questions, examined the wrong area entirely, and jumped straight to worst case scenarios without justification. She spent only 5 minutes on the consultation and pushed for X-rays when in my dog's case, those weren't even necessary. X-rays are not the right protocol for soft tissue issues. I didn't have a choice as they were the only place open that day. A few days later my dog is completely fine because it wasn't actually that hard to fix. He had full anal glands that just needed to be emptied ... and this vet was pushing for X-rays and bloodwork instead One thing worth mentioning, she was very quick to suggest cancer or tumors without proper justification. What she may not know is that intact male dogs actually have hormonal protection that significantly reduces the risk of certain cancers in that area. A more knowledgeable vet would have considered this before jumping to worst case scenarios. This is basic intact male biology that should be understood before making such alarming suggestions to worried pet owners. That's why I usually just bring my dogs to my regular holistic vets in Irvine and Laguna Beach. To be fair, the regular staff are lovely. The vet tech was excellent, agreed with my decisions, and actually helped. So I do believe their regular vets and staff are much better. This one star is specifically for the backup vet. Please be very careful if they assign you to her.

When I picked him up, I saw that not only did he love the people, he played with other dogs too! That's the first time I have ever heard of Val playing with dogs. Considering he was only there for the day, Yas and his team must have spend a lot of time with him, patiently helping him get comfortable. I have never, ever, seen my dog adapt so quickly and completely. The details: When I called, Yas answered the phone and was very kind and helpful. He didn't seem bothered at all when I mentioned Val being reactive, explaining that dogs are often that way initially but usually get comfortable after some time, and that there was a private room if Val needed it. When we met him, he was SO good with Val! I've never seen someone react so calmly and fearlessly around him. I had been terrified that with Val nonstop barking, he would be turned away, but within about 10 minutes, after Yas led him on a short walk, Val was mostly calm. I immediately felt reassured. It was clear that Yas really understands dogs and believes all dogs are inherently good. I love that Barking Bliss has an app! It made it super-easy to create a profile for my dog, make an appointment, and upload his vaccination records. Mid-day I received a text with a picture of Val! It's awesome that they take the time to take pictures (and sometimes video) and proactively share that with the pet-parent. It was reassuring to see him sitting nicely, and know he was being paid attention to. Barking Bliss blew our minds. We will definitely be back and I know Val will be happy to see his new friends again!
