    Fries & squid

Holy hell... why is my tongue tingling!? Tried the squid and fries at Little Fleet for Croc Palace and Jesus I had to put the fork down. The amount of salt all over everything is overbearing and gross. Literally left a tingle on my tongue and had me looking for water. Hard pass on this as it's so overly seasoned and salted that you can't eat it. Dreadful. Oh and no dipping sauce for anything; who serves calamari without some type of side sauce?? Psh.

    Spicy cold noodles

I remembered hearing about Crocodile Palace before heading to TC, so I was happy to see that they had a counter at the Little Fleet. Nate and I had just checked into our Airbnb across the street and wanted a snack, so we got some cold spicy noodles. I wasn't expecting this dish to be that spicy... but the noodles packed a bit of a punch! I really liked the noodles and cabbage. The chicken was bland and had almost no flavor, but it was cooked nicely and not dry. The employees working were all very friendly. The menu sounded great, with lots of Asian inspired dishes that I'd love to try. Be careful of the spice if you don't love spicy food.

Great food, every time! Sad to see their other restaurant go, but glad this one remains!

We split a braised beef and a mushroom gnocchi and found them to be a wonderful balance. The braised beef was recommended from our table neighbors and did not disappoint. The sprouts add a pop of freshness to pasta dishes that, somehow, do not make you leave feeling heavy. Topped off a lovely dinner with an espresso-tini for dessert. Yum.

This was a casual spot that had ten or so tables with several more outside. The menu was…read morecondensed, but with a lot of variety and great prices. All of the pasta was fresh and homemade. The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. The small Italian chop salad ($8) was ordered to start the meal. It came with brick cheese, pepperoncini, sweety drop peppers, croutons, parm, and an Italian vinaigrette. This was very good and fresh. There was enough of all the ingredients, and they mixed well with one another. It was lightly dressed too. For dinner, two pastas were split, the pesto ($16) and scallop ($21). The pesto had creste di Gallo pasta with toasted pistachio, basil, and parm. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, but the pesto sauce itself seemed to be missing something. Everything was definitely fresh and the crushed pistachios were a nice touch, but it just seemed to lack something. The scallop had gnocchetti, roasted corn, marinated tomato, white wine sauce, dill, and sunflower sprouts. This was top notch. The sauce was very flavorful, and again the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. The fresh corn and tomatoes just enhanced the spectacular white wine sauce. Will I go back? Easily.
