We called on a Friday and we had a crew working the next week, completing the process in just two days. From the start of working with King, it was easy! John D. came to our home, explaining what we had, what was needed and what options we had to get the most from our hvac system. He was polite, professional and very informative. He wasn't just selling stuff to sell it, he really gave us confidence from the start, knowing his information and being able to explain the options and different brands and systems to us. We were even able to get a new filter system that only needs changed once a year to save on replacement costs. We also now have a working humidifier system too! A new HVAC system was installed in our home in late March this year and everything was done professionally and neatly with no messes left for us to clean up. The system worked great until the incredibly damp and cool spring when the AC was having real trouble dealing with the humidity in the house. But Faszold--and its mother ship, Classic Aire Care--kept sending out a couple of stellar technicians to check and adjust the system until they got it right. And this was warranty work--we did not pay for anything as they tweaked settings and made the system work in our home. Anthony and Steve are true problem solvers as they continued to address individual parts like the thermostat and fans and they finally got it all worked out so that the system is able to keep our house below 50% humidity. It was a frustrating time but the company has been responsive and supportive. Mike Faszold was also amazing and continually answered my calls and texts during both pre-sale and after install time. This company stands behind its installs and comes through on its promise of good customer service. Check around but believe what they tell you.

I appreciated the honesty! He had to leave to get a new circuit breaker and came right back to replace it. I'm happy with the service - prompt and courteous - but I am not thrilled with the high cost. The service call was $89 and a new circuit breaker should cost only $20-$30. I was charged $331.50 total, which I've been told by neighbors is very, very high for such a simple fix...Oh well. At least my furnace turns on now.

I was first told the technician ran the furnace for 10 minutes, then later that he ran it for almost an hour, and now I'm being told it was 48 minutes but they round up. These explanations cannot all be true, and the constant shifting makes it hard to trust what actually happened. When I arrived shortly after the technician left, the furnace was running with no heat, the same intermittent failure pattern I've been dealing with all week. Nothing was diagnosed, nothing was resolved, and the system was left in worse condition than before. When I spoke with the supervisor, I was offered a return visit -- but only if I paid another service fee and hourly rate. The suggestion was that "we can watch the furnace all day," but at my expense. Meanwhile, I was already charged for a full hour even though the technician was reportedly there for 48 minutes. If they're rounding up, it raises the question of whether I'm entitled to the remaining time I paid for. At this point, the pattern feels less like a repair‑focused service and more like a replace‑the-unit operation. When a company can't keep its story straight, doesn't follow through on basic communication, leaves the equipment still failing, and immediately pivots to more charges or the implication that replacement might be the next step, it's hard not to feel like the goal is selling a new furnace rather than fixing the one I have. We got a call from them first thing in the morning after the home warranty verification, saying they could be right out. We asked "how soon was that"...the technician, Mark, said "ten minutes". He was there in EIGHT. He quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced a part, and then explained to us what had happened and how it caused the water leakage, in layman's terms we understood just fine, and was in and out. I really appreciate the speedy service, the quality and efficiency of the work, the courtesy, but most especially, I appreciate the value added of Mark explaining to me the process and remedy without talking down to me as a non-mechanic homeowner. Jenny from Craig made it clear that I should contact her ASAP so as to find out what was going on. I did so at the suggestion of the Sear Warranty Rep, and the rest was a major surprise. Jenny told me that might be able to get a serviceman out in a few hours, but that it could be the next morning. Fine by me since I have been waiting 3 days to hear from anyone at D AND S Heating and Cooling to no avail (two phone calls and two voice mails later). They were actually able to get a serviceman out that day. He was very very professional, and did a quick job at assessing the problem with my furnace. Within and hour I was back to having heat once more. I want to say thanks to Craig-Air for being about the business of Heating and Cooling. They made me have some confidence in the fact that there are a reputable HVAC service in the area that cares enough to quickly contact a possible client. Side joke of sorts: After the rep from Craig-Air had restored my heating and been gone about 15 mins. I get a call from D AND S asking if I need someone to come out. I basically told him already taken care of (No thanks to his company). Their excuse for no call backs: My number showed up as SPAM.
