I wish I loved this brewery as much as others have. However, my experience was average. The beer options were decent but nothing stood out. I ordered the German pilsner. I really liked the glass! Beer had a taste to it that I didn't really enjoy... Like gas from the draft, maybe? Aside from that, the beer was on point with the description. There's no food menu, but a food truck operates during certain hours. There's also no AC. There is a arge outdoor area with games and seating. Lots of families with kids. Personally, not the crowd I'd typically choose for Friday afternoon beer. But a solid perk for those that like to drink craft beer with their kids in tow. 3/5 - nothing bad, nothing great. They seem to have found their niche, make sure it's yours before you go. read more

Crooked Pecker is a cute little brewery just outside of Chagrin Falls. They staff was very friendly and we did not have a problem finding a seat. They had a large beer menu, but don't offer food. The environment was a little strange - more like a mini warehouse with a backyard than a professional looking brewery. The bartender was very helpful and he recommended different beers based on my preferences. There was not a whole lot of variety - mostly IPAs. We went on a Sunday so it wasn't busy at all. They do not have food, but they bring in food trucks (schedule posted on insta or Facebook) and sometimes there is live music. It would be nice to go back on one of those days! read more

Beers are great, space is great but it's really a chucky cheese brewery. Lots of kids running everywhere. Watch your beers and food a stray toy will end up in both. if you want to hang with friends expect to be pelted with random kids toys the entire time you are here. The cool microbrewery on the block. If you thought Chagrin Falls was only for yuppies and well-meaning grandparents, Crooked Pecker wants you and your beer snob friends to think again. And if anyone ever said playing hard to get never works, Crooked Pecker would like to raise you its 3 days a week opening schedule. All jokes aside, this unassuming brewery will hook you from your first visit. The bartender/brewer we met was easygoing and friendly, and genuinely just wanted to share good beer with us. They have a rotating selection of brews on draft and another selection available in cans to go. You can sample any of the drafts before committing, and also get any of these in taster sizes rather than full pints if you're indecisive and noncommittal like me. All of their IPE (pronounced EE-pay, not related to IPA's) brews really hit the spot and are sure to please any dark beer guy or gal. Our friendly bartender also gave us a jazzed up concoction of IPE with cacao nibs and Black Bird that sent my taste buds straight to brew heaven. Unfortunately if you're the type to get attached easily, your new favorite beer may not be available to go or even at all in a few months, but fear not as the beer masterminds at work are always working on something new in the back. And I literally mean in the back, where the brewing silos are housed for any curious customer to observe. The actual seating area is small compared to other breweries, but there's a decidedly eclectic and homegrown feel with the army of plants, chalkbox colored stools, and acoustic instruments on the wall. Oh, and of course the ping pong table and infamous sticker wall. (You are welcome to contribute your own sticker conquests to the wall.) Did I mention board games as well? When the Cleveland sun emerges, the backyard area, set up with a firepit, cornhole, and quintessential Adirondack chairs, is a must. Yes, Crooked Pecker is dog friendly. Water is self-serve from the dispenser next to the single stall unisex restroom, and a doggie bowl also lives here. If you do use the restroom, please take note of and chuckle at the "Get Naked" sign but do not actually take it literally. While you can fork over money to brand yourself with Crooked Pecker apparel, unfortunately there are no food options at present to help settle your stomach between drinks but they'll occasionally have vendors or events with snack options. read more

We were looking for a spot for drinks after dinner in Chagrin Falls and someone in our group found Crooked Pecker Brewing Company on Yelp and I'm very glad they did! What a great spot! It was a nice night so we sat at a picnic table. The outdoor area has a number of picnic tables and other outdoor seating. It was a beautiful setting to enjoy their beers. While I'm not a beer drinker, I loved the cider I had. We will certainly be back! read more

My local brewery. The only negatives seem to be they don't offer growlers, they seem to run out of canned beers, and they don't always have the same beers on tap. Maybe this is what keeps us all coming back. The positives though. The funky furniture. A few modern looking tables. Some old school like your parents used to have lawn chairs, an interesting wooden table that seats 6ish. Its not uncommon to see people bring their own chairs either. Now on to the beer. I've been back more than a few times. My latest favorite is the Turbo. If they don't happen to have it this next time I'll just find another IPA that'll work. They are dog friendly as well. Which is kind of nice. I can take my dog to hang out with me when I need to escape being home all day during Covid. They also have food. Different vendors. I've had the Hawaiian BBQ, but missed out on the Pizza. Next time! read more

My family and I stopped in to check this out when I was visiting my hometown of Auburn during the holidays. Living in Columbus, we have a LOT of microbreweries and tasting rooms, so I had pretty low expectations for the Crooked Pecker, but was pleasantly surprised by their product. As someone who tries and enjoys a lot of kinds of beer, I have to say the 2 IPAs I tried were very good, and the stout was a good amount of bitter yet savory. Hopefully this business continues to expand and perhaps open up a larger tasting room with some more seating and maybe a patio with outdoor games. That would draw a lot more business in, although it was pretty busy when we stopped in! Happy that something like this exists in my hometown: there is really nothing like it around! Nothing is certain but death, taxes, and Crooked Pecker. In a way, Crooked Pecker is just a tax. Every week, it's the same thing for me. Beer release announced, select a couple 4 packs, whip out credit card, and pick it up a couple days later. I should probably just set up an automatic deposit to make it easier on everyone. Do you like hazy IPAs and DIPAs? If you're venturing to Crooked Pecker, you probably should...or you should probably learn to like them. It's what they do, and do better than everyone else. They do venture out with the occasion stout, but really the greatest hits are the hazys. Their location is the definition of microbrew. It's a glorified garage. The brewing floor is the main focus, with patrons coming in second. Normally, a solid line will form at the single tap station on a Friday and Saturday. Currently, they are only offering order ahead beers to go, but hopefully the warm weather will open up the brewery. They could use a patio, a couple picnic tables, and some heat lamps to really keep the patrons coming, staying, and drinking. During the summer, people are scattered all over the property - standing around, sitting on makeshift chairs, and on tailgates, If you didn't get the drift, I have Crooked Pecker beers in my fridge every weekend. If you come over to my place, I might share, but I'd recommend stopping there and picking up your own! read more

It was Saturday at 4 p.m. and this small brewery was hoppin'. The logo, a Pileated Woodpecker, was present on the outside and inside. Entering through the garage door we were greeted at the bar where you order. The offerings are few so you focus on the brew at hand. Three brews were on tap. I tasted the Lactose-free Imperial milk stout. It was easy to drink, not thick, but pleasant with a nice stout flavor. The Beastly Cryo-hopped doubled IPA, tasted by a friend, said it was very good. The Beastly was the brew for carry out this weekend, so we purchased two four packs. The stout was not for sale in cans, but it was on tap. We did not try the third choice, an IPA. Tee shirts and glasses were for sale. On this day, The Hawaiian Guy BBQ was setting up to sell. The Crooked Pecker is a great small place to try a nice craft beer. read more

Husband and I stopped in while in the area. I had the Liquid White stout, which was yummy! Hubby had the Colorado Ben, which was also yummy! He also had the imperial stout also yummy! The Crooked Pecker is a newly opened brewery and taproom in Chagrin Falls which was a fun out of the ordinary stop. This brewery is kind of hidden next to some businesses, but is not far from East Washington St. It is not very large and has a pretty industrial feel, but there are some tables and chairs and room to sit and relax. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. You can tell that they are really excited about opening and being able to have people try their beer and it was great! Another cool thing was that you could see right into where they were brewing the beer and we were actually able to meet the brewers. I think that this would be a fun place to come hang out with friends if there was a table open, but if not I would definitely recommend coming to get a growler filled! read more

Fantastic beer. For those fresh hop hunters, this place is fantastic. Pillowy soft and juicy IPAs and Pale Ales. I've had a few of their stouts, which are good, but I think that might be the only area where there's room for improvement. Small staff of 3 are all very friendly and helpful; not one bit of beer snob in this place. They do can pickup Thrus-Fri for orders placed online. They will sell out of cans, so pay attention to the website and when beer sales open. This is the only brewery for miles around, but worth the drive. read more

Came here with my wife prior to the lockdown, and definitely enjoyed our experience. A friend of mine had heard of it, and being near my work, had to give it a shot. The place is pretty small, no food inside. They have a fair amount of taps available for a smaller place. My wife and I chose to split a flight, trying all their beers, which we enjoyed. My personal favorite was the Colorado Ben IPA. The Plainview Stout and Super Friendly Aviator IPA were also pretty solid. Definitely somewhere my wife and I will return. read more

Although they've been brewing for some time, they just opened the doors for their taproom a few weeks ago. We visited a few days after they opened and were super impressed! They only had 4 beers on tap, including 2 IPAs, a milk stout, and a hoppy blonde ale. If you only do a few beers, you'd better do them well, and they did! (I was able to try them all because another cool thing about this place is they offer half pours - something I wish more places did). Still, I'm hoping they'll have a liiiitle more variety (5-6 on tap maybe) once they've been open a little longer. My husband has been homebrewing for a few years, and one of the owners saw use eyeing their brewing equipment, so he invited us back for a mini-tour to check it out.
