There were not as many beers on the list to choose from as I had hoped (and especially coming after Missing Mountain), but the ones that I tried were good. After doing the entire summit Brew path tour last year, I can confidently say that McArthur's brew house has the best beer out of any of the breweries we went too. First time coming to the McArthur Brewhouse. Me and my wife wanted to check something new out for the holidays and we found this place. It was absolutely so festive for Christmas, the owners were nice and friendly with heated outdoors. Very accommodating for the customer with delicious food. I was big on the Bavarian pretzels. Amazing, beautiful bathrooms and the staff /owners were really friendly. What I enjoy the most is that they serve the Bent Ladder hard Cider so I don't need to make a trip down to Doylestown on my my excursions from Chicago. Thanks McArthurs! read more

Visited the place when it first opened and again this month. The beers' quality keep improving and the number of offerings does too. For example, their Christmas in July beer tasted great, not too spiced. All good on the beer front. Very friendly staff. Not afraid to offer opinions on their beers and they offer comments from a beer drinkers view. They've tasted the beer themselves. Very good. Friendly customers give it a pub feel which I love. On the outside the place is small, on the inside the place has cool decor and has a comfortable feeling, with a nice patio for warmer weather. We had the veggie flatbread, it was really good, better than most places. However, the beers are limited and are good but not great. I would have given more stars but the serivce sort of put me off, when you go to a brewery or winery they should be happy to offer you a tasting, how else will you know if you like anything? Didn't get that vibe here, kept saying we usually charge for tastings, if you are then say so at first or post it. We were given a gift certificate for my birthday and drove from Cleveland. When we got here they were confused with the printed out gift certificate and had never seen one before. They went above and beyond to find out where or how I got it. We really appreciate that effort. Also, I wasn't aware they had their own beer. I thought it was guest beers only. The cranberry sour and cherry sour were to die for. Also the White chocolate mocha milk stout was incredible and the best hands down we have ever had. We have been to too many breweries to count. MBH is very much a hidden gem - could be pretty easy to miss, but it's right on the corner of front street and Bailey/Hudson road in a building underneath the billboard. This place has kind of weird hours, but that's because it's owned by a firefighter and his wife! They use the same spot to brew their beers. Just check their social media or website to make sure they're open when you pop by. They have tons of parking in a lot next to the building, so parking isn't an issue at all! They have a good amount of indoor seating and the place is super clean! They also have a patio area (dogs allowed!!), set up in their big parking lot. It's honestly really pretty for being a patio in a parking lot - cute lights, flowers, picnic tables, and umbrellas set up for each table. They even have like, tons of outdoor heaters, enough that if you're sitting at any outdoor picnic table, you'll be by a heater. We were there on a Friday night and they were playing really great classic rock - a mix of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, etc. it was so awesome just to drink a beer and vibe on their patio in the evening to the music. You order at the bar and seat yourself (which is great, cause you never feel like anyone is waiting on you to leave), so it's a pretty relaxing atmosphere. But someone did come by to take away empties and bring us more, cutting down on trips to the bar - it was awesome! I had a lovey toffee coffee porter brewed with nitro that I really enjoyed. Malty, roasty, coffee, everything you'd want in a porter. There's maybe like 8-10 beer options they brew there, and they have rotating guest taps. There's also merch available for sale as well! They also have limited food options, but they often have a food truck come by, especially in the evenings, so I'd check their social media or call to see if a food truck will be there. I've been here twice now and really enjoyed myself. It's a smaller brewery, but the space seemed to fit the amount of patrons well. One of the walls is done in pallets, which is really cool. Some of the negative reviews complain about a lack of TV's. Well, that problem has been fixed. They have a bunch of TV's. I was able to watch March Madness and the Indians game simultaneously, so don't let those reviews deter you. There are also a bunch of board games to play. The "smore's coffee porter" is to die for. My wife only drinks dark beer. We've visited 6 of the 18 Summit Brew Path breweries and this is probably her favorite so far. I liked their blonde ale as well, light and refreshing. They don't have a ton of beers, but it's a smaller joint, I'd expect as much. They also have a small food menu. A pizza will only set you back $5-6. Nothing fancy, but it does the trick for that price. They were also selling hot dogs for $1 a pop at the end of the night. No complaints there. I snagged about 3 of those bad boys. Free popcorn too. I was between 4 and 5 stars, but something they did tonite put me over the edge to 5. The owners walked around giving out pretzel and cheese samples, and small slices of pizza for free. If you didn't know it was a brewery, you could easily drive past and miss it. So I like to think of it as a hidden gem! In the year or so they've been open, they've worked to build up the ambiance and create more outdoor space, which I appreciate. Of the breweries in the falls, I think this one has the best beer. We have been wanting to check out this local brewery. Inviting and they love their craft as they have flights but told us let me know what I want to try. We tried a grapefruit ipa small batch and so refreshing the grapefruit not overwhelming. Someone sitting at the bar said oh you have to try the blood orange ipa and husband enjoyed that. We enjoyed chilling and sampling the beer. There was a blonde pale ale and toffee coffee porter his favorite and hulk smash which was my favorite they offer pizza and other light bar fare. This place is a-ok. The draft list is not my taste and therefore this is not a negative review just a "not my kind of drink place". I do enjoy that they have board games to play while visiting and a perk is they have a parking lot and you don't have to worry about street parking. Seiously bummed. Reviews made this place sound awesome. After visiting many amazing breweries in the area we were disappointed as we pulled in the parking lot and found it to be so small and in such an odd location. Four of us walked in and weren't so much as greeted or waved at. We stood at a table looking at the menu for awhile. We quickly realized there was only one TV that we couldn't really even see which was disappointing because we really wanted to catch the Indians game. Unfortunately, we didn't stick around to try the beer because the atmosphere was so disappointing. Bring your own food too, by the way. I'm usually a fan of this option myself. Stopped in last night in the Summit Brew Path opening. This is a cozy microbrewery with a relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoyed the s'mores stout. Pricing is very reasonable for assorted drink sizes. They have board games too. The venue is coffee shop sized so prepare to stand if you're going on a busy night. read more

This place is such a treasure! You have to know to look for it, but boy am I glad that we found it! My boyfriend and I were visiting the area from Virginia, and McArthur's Brew House was the first place recommended when I mentioned that we wanted to scope out the beer scene. I love the atmosphere of this place! We each got a flight (choose four 4oz samples of any beer on tap), which allowed us to try everything they had available that day. I settled on a flight and was not disappointed with my choices: Mac's Double Trouble Red IPA, Toffee Coffee Porter, Belgian Tripel, and Blueberry Wheat Ale. They had 6 others to try as well. They don't serve meals but do have cheese / meat trays and most weekends have a food truck. You can also bring your own food or have something delivered.
