My husband and I went to Paradigm Brewing for the first time last night. We searched various breweries and Paradigm was the only one around (other than two others) open on New Years Day. And we had not been before, so we were excited for the opportunity to try it out! We passed it a couple times around the block as we had no idea it was pretty much a garage like location built on a house. It's such a cool idea and very comfortable, relaxing environment. They had great beer choices! The coffee blonde was amazing and we also enjoyed the coconut beer. I closed my eyes and imagined the waves on my feet. The buffalo wrap was amazing and the tater tots are something to talk about! You can customize your tots or just get them plain. Overall, we will be back! read more

Oh my gosh, there's a brewery in Massillon! Lured by the smell of French fries, my husband and I stumbled upon this little gem on a walk to downtown. There is a food truck parked out front...a seemingly permanent fixture...that acts as the kitchen for Paradigm Shift. There is seating outside, TV screens inside, and plenty of comfy leather couches. The beer is surprisingly amazing! The hubs and I did a flight. Our favorites were Spitfire, a red ale; a nitro milk stout; and some kind of smoky ale that was light and well...smoky (I thought it would be weird but it wasn't). We were totally taken aback by this place and will surely be back to try more! I hope they make a CIDER. Please, Paradigm Shift! I love ciders! A total gem. Due to COVID, we just did pick up and it's pretty awesome because you can get these "husky" tall boy cans. We tried Rodeo Clown and I'm sure we will be back to get more during our stay here in town. Great beer and a great way to support local. read more

First time here, and it didn't disappoint! We went on a Sunday afternoon, as part of the Hall of Fame Hops Brew Trail. While Paradigm Shift is easy to pass by from the outside, our food and beer was very memorable. As an appetizer, we got the pretzel sticks with beer cheese and mustard. These were easily the best pretzel sticks I've ever had. They came out hot and fresh, and the beer cheese was phenomenal! Not to be outdone, my wife really enjoyed her chicken caesar wrap, while my North Street hoagie (pepperoni, ham, salami, mozzarella, spinach, hot pepper relish, and tomato) was extremely flavorful and filling. They offered 18 beers on tap, with crowlers (32 oz.) and growlers (64 oz.) available as well. We both tried the Strawberry Blonde ale and enjoyed it so much we bought a crowler to take home. Great neighborhood spot in a small town. The staff were friendly staff and provided excellent service. There's a nice patio with tables outside and a small indoor space. It's a casual atmosphere and very laid back. We shared a few flights before leaving for dinner. At the time of my visit there were no food options available, but they told us they were going to start getting food trucks outside more regularly. That may have happened by now. I liked all their beers and they had a lot of solid IPAs, but the selection was good overall if you're looking for variety. The neighbor girl was just absolutely amazing as a Belgian Tripel. Wait...a brewery...in the middle of a neighborhood...in Massillon? Seriously? Yup! On a brewery hopping night with family, decided to stop in! Glad we did! Regrettably, I didn't take pictures of or write down anything I had here. What I did have were a lot of solid beers! Oh...and some confused looks when I told them I live in California and I was visiting my cousin. The people hanging out were friendly, talkative, and generally nice. Regrettably, the night we stopped in it was raining. Also, the Tigers were stomping the team they were playing. This meant the inside was PACKED! It was still a lot of fun even though I didn't have room to think. If you want a local brewery with an actual local feel, go here! No doubt you will be happy! read more

Great craft beers, friendly service, great place to chill before dinner. The Coconut beer and IPA (forgot the name) are fabulous. We enjoyed hanging out at the bar and meeting some wonderful local folks. We just stopped in for a drink but had so much fun chatting with Dan the novelist, Jason the blacksmith, Dennis the chef, Bill the engineer, Melissa the lovely bartender, and Mike the gracious owner. We're just here a few days on business... but with craft beer like this and local peeps like these guys... Paradigm Shift will definitely be a must to visit every time we're in the area. Great beer selection. Great pub style food. Thursday's there is typically Open Mic night and Sunday's there is typically some sort of live music happening from local area performers. This is a little gem in the heart of Massillon. We are from Michigan and we frequent many breweries at home and when we travel, and this place is one of my favorites. Love the IPA, and I recommend the stout mixed with their coconut cream ale if you visit in the fall. The pub has a nice atmosphere and the owner and employees are super friendly. I was visiting Massillon for the weekend and found this place based on a recommendation of a local. Paradigm is a gem. Good beer , great prices and a welcoming staff. We were a bit rowdy due to seeing friends we hadn't seen in a long time and they tolerated our enthusiasm. We were there until close and they didn't rush us out, they let us finish our beers with smiles on their faces. I believe we were even thanked by the owner on our way out. If you're hungry they have menus behind the bar from local restaurants that will deliver. Definitely give this place a try if you're in Massillon and looking for a great craft beer. read more

Absolutely love this place! Mike and his crew are phenomenal at their craft. The place is industrial yet cozy. The beer flows like the salmon of Capistrano. Absolutely fantastic beers all around. Went on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beer. From the outside this place looks a little like huh???? A few blocks off of downtown in what appears to be a residence with an outside patio area. Inside there's a bar, both high and low top tables and large squishy comfy couches in the middle. There's a garage door but it was closed that day even though it was nice outside. Inside was a little dark but you could see the beer making processes through a full glass wall. Help yourself popcorn is available for $1 and there's a good variety of board/card games. The coconut cream ale and the black lager my fave that day. Will be back to try more. One pet peeve .... put a purse hook in the bathroom!!!! read more
