When my mother-in-law asked if she could at least purchase her wine, the owner told her she could "try to go in there," but they were so busy that it would take a long time for anyone to help her. She then told her that if she really wanted to, she could go to the left, grab her wine, and leave. We've been coming here since they opened in 2014, so this treatment was shocking and incredibly disappointing, especially coming from the owner. The most frustrating part? We walked into the retail area to buy the wine, and there was no one in there. There were also empty tables available. We couldn't help but feel that because we were on a girls' weekend wearing funny wigs, we were judged the moment we walked in and didn't fit the atmosphere they wanted. After years of supporting this business, they've now lost a loyal wine club member and several longtime customers. We will not be returning. If you're looking for a winery where customers are welcomed and treated with respect, we'd recommend Mackinaw Trail instead.

This is absolutely unacceptable for a property to advertise as "dog friendly" if guests are encouraged to bring their dogs, they should be able to safely exit their vehicles and enter the property with their large dog, without being attacked by a dog on the property. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this location with anyone traveling with a pet. This seems to be an issue if you read other reviews as well.
