Greg was extremely responsive, helpful and kind while booking and leading up to the trip. We could tell he was very passionate about sailing and sharing that with others which we all loved. While on the boat, Greg was friendly and super fun! You are able to sit in the back by Greg, up in the front or down below deck. There's a bathroom, seating and a refrigerator for drinks below deck which was an added bonus. The music Greg was playing was great, but you can also play your own music via Bluetooth. This feels like a make your own adventure sailing trip because you can choose the amount of hours you need, the vibe of your music, how rowdy or calm you want to be, etc. We had an amazing time and we would absolutely do this again when we are back in town. We took the 2 hr tour and saw ships, forts, the Battery of Charleston, dredges, the old Navy base, dry docks, and a dolphin, etc. Captain Chris tailored the tour to our interests specifically and our recollections of the area from decades ago. I highly recommend. First there were just the 4 of us so no crowds for Covid worries. Secondly , it was tailored to our interests... we covered a lot of ground in 2 hrs! Third, the cost was less than if we had taken a bigger ship with a herd of people and waited around as they fished, sight saw etc. this small ship was perfect and fast enough we saw everything we wanted and we're back before we burned up from the sun! Really nice pier! There is parking right in front of the pier, we went in October so it was off…read moreseason and only 10$ a day. Not sure what it is during peak season. There is a restaurant right when you walk up that has outdoor seating, live music and a separate bar area. There are public bathrooms but they were pretty dirty when I went. We have not tried the restaurant yet, but the food smells good we will try it next time. The bar looks awesome but it closed early at 8pm on a Saturday so I was not able to try it. The views are beautiful and the pier is huge. Lots of seating and benches, you can also fish on the pier but you need a license. Definitely visit the pier if you are in Folly! We will be back.
