I just kept putting money into it little by little because who wants to have a car payment if you don't have to LOL. Well they knew it was time and I was in desperate need of a new vehicle. Jared listened and heard all of my concerns. He knew exactly what I needed, and him and his team made it happen. Tiffany was great with keeping in contact with me and having all the paper work ready to go. So with that being said I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Escape from A2Z Transmisions. They rebuild the transmission for me so I would not have any issues moving forward. The Escape is in AMAZING condition. It drives great, easy on gas and rides smooth. It even smelled new when I got into it!!! If you are looking for a dependable place to either purchase or service your current car check out A2Z Transmissions.

The light would go off for a while, but then light back up within a few weeks. Eventually it was getting hard to start, so I took my truck to Turner. They found that there was a crack in the intake manifold, which a previous owner had tried to patch with epoxy, but that temporary fix was failing. That explains why I was having recurrent evap system problems. After quoting me on installation of a new intake manifold, they couldn't get the part right away and found a used one instead. I don't mind a used part, that saved me about $300. Pretty quick turnaround, too. Overall good experience, I would go back if having other mechanical issues.

My car i had spent a little over 2,000$ to fix my brakes and to get a new tire. And honestly I'm not even sure if the tire was new. They told me "we didn't think you cared about your car" "we did what we thought would get you by" and even said "we didn't test drive it" after I voiced my concerns over my brakes being sketchy. They even basically admitted they discriminated against my car itself. After the 1st time they gave me back my car I should of just went to another shop. The brakes immediately after getting it back felt like they were going to completely fail. Took it in a 2nd time and more issues miraculously popped up. After that...the 3rd time MORE issues popped up which in total was a little over 2,000$. They ended up messing up the brakes yet again so I went to a different shop where it cost me 600$ to fix what Good Grip said was fixed and the noise was most likely my suspension that I was hearing. I should've investigated further into this shop before going to it and I would of known to avoid this place entirely. Like others, it's very close to where I live and that makes it convenient. Shame on them for not caring about their customers. Shame on them for using warped parts or not double checking after putting them on, using very cheap brake pads, not caring enough to even test drive a car after a brake job, discriminating against my car I drive and not giving me the same respect as others, etc. IF YOU WANT RELIABLE SERVICE AND SAFETY IN MIND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL SPEND MORE MONEY TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES AND NEGLIGENCE/LACK OF CARE

But with an aging car that is starting to get leaks and other wear and tear, I knew it was high time to finally get an inspection. Fortunately, Yelp recommended Tom & Jerry's, and after taking it in and getting some substantial service done, I couldn't be happier with my experience. One of the great things about T&J's is that they text you a link to your inspection report, which lists urgent, not-so-urgent, and recommended items to address...and pictures of all of the problem areas. I was actually quite relieved that my car's main leak was from cracked transmission lines and not an actual failing transmission. Even if I didn't have some basic mechanical knowledge, it would have been obvious from the pictures that the lines needed to be replaced. Likewise, images of battery life, ride quality, and other factors all helped me opt to fix the more urgent service items. When talking to the technician over the phone, he never tried to sell me on the less urgent items (such as a loose sway bar), and the prices quoted were very reasonable. Ultimately, I spent $1200 on four tires, a new battery, a replaced passenger mirror (labor only -- I'd brought in the part), an oil change, the inspection itself, and the replacement transmission lines. It would be an exaggeration to say my car feels new, but there's something to be said for the peace of mind that it's been thoroughly inspected, and the key issues have been addressed. Given that I was dreading having to potentially shop for a new car, I'm especially glad for T&J's service. One minor negative that is nonetheless worth mentioning is that they don't have much of a waiting area, and there aren't any decent places to sit for awhile nearby (the Starbucks, five blocks away, is drive-thru only!). After wandering around the area for awhile, I wound up just getting a Lyft home. Not a big deal at all, but just be prepared to drop off your car and have a pick-up option ready.

I recently had the water pump replaced on my vehicle at Luke's Auto Shop. Unfortunately, shortly…read moreafter the repair, I discovered that a coolant hose clamp associated with the water pump had been left improperly installed. This caused coolant to leak into the engine bay and could have led to much more serious engine damage if it hadn't been caught quickly. A mistake like this is concerning because the cooling system is a critical component, and something as basic as verifying that all hose clamps are properly secured should be part of every final inspection before a vehicle is returned to the customer. That said, I also believe it's important to recognize when a business makes a genuine effort to address a problem. Once the issue was brought to the shop's attention, the service manager handled the situation professionally. While the original workmanship issue should not have occurred, he did what he could to make the situation right by listening to my concerns, arranging for the vehicle to be checked over, and working to restore my confidence in the repair. No repair shop is immune to mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled matters. In this case, the initial repair fell short of the standard I expected, but the service manager's professionalism and willingness to stand behind the work improved what could have been a much worse experience. Overall, I hope the shop strengthens its quality-control procedures to ensure critical items like coolant hose connections are verified before vehicles leave the shop. If they do, I believe they can provide a much more consistently positive customer experience.

First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.
