I like gluten. A chocolate chip cookie. Not a tough one. It was dry and I swear it was sitting in that jar for 4 days. Total bummer. I threw it away. The piece of cake and coffee came right away to counter. I sat down. Then about 5 minutes passed and my two cookies just showed up. I went back up to ask the guy at counter for them. Wouldn't you think he could have brought to me since it was not busy and he made me wait or maybe just forgot about me. It is time to repaint and tidy up. As for the baked goods. Needs a major step up to make it. If I can't get a chocolate chip cookie that I would eat. Total loss. I pride myself of being positive for reviews. I just can't with this one.

I am writing this in hopes that the owners read it and take note. I used to love this place. A regular by a couple times a week. The last 3 times I picked up, they forgot something crucial in my order. When I call them immediately to tell them, I get the same "oh, sorry, we're busy" response. "You can come pick it up". If you can't do your job correctly when you are busy, then hire more people or better people. When the owner was there all the time, the place was great. It has suffered in service and attitiude. Not once have they offered to compensate me for screwing up my order. Maybe I'll go to Dengeos. read more

Deeeelish! what a place, i just moved to the area and am immediately addicted. first of all, where else can you get dinner for 2 including a bottle of wine and apps for $30? nowhere thats is correct. they still have beer for 2.50 on the menu and that isnt on special. i see a lot of people go for the gyros...which is fantastic...but get the skirt steak or the greek chicken with fries and add feta and olves to your salad...you wont be disappointed. oh and the chocolate cake is what dreams are made of. wow. read more

My wife and I have been eating at Cross Rhodes for over a decade now. The food is wonderful. Simple Greek fare. The service is ALWAYS friendly. The quality is always high. I don't understand it when nitwits like Iryna Z post nasty untruthful messages about this fine establishment. She complained about being "surprised" at finding out it was "cash only" when she stepped up to pay her bill. THE SIGN INFORMING YOU THAT IT'S CASH ONLY IS POSTED PLAIN AS DAY ON THE FRONT DOOR!!!!! I ordered lunch today for my workers and I and the food was absolutely horrendous. The chicken was completely dried out the rice was so gummy and sticky it was worse than something you get an a frozen meal. To make matters worse they charge $15 per meal plus without my knowledge charged another 220 for some sauce that I expected would come with it not that I would pay extra for. I will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone and I won't be visiting again. read more
