What a gem! We came to Cross Roads on the recommendation of an acquaintance and are so glad we did. In a modern, unassuming storefront we found the best Indian food we've had on the mainline in years. Cross Roads serves a lengthy menu in an upscale casual space, leaving customers plenty of time and space to enjoy their meal with friends or family with a hands-off service style. We've been in a few times and are always trying new menu items, never to be disappointed- dishes are well seasoned, flavorful, and filling with none of the let down of an underspiced meal you often find in the area. Every time we come back to start with chicken pachimiri- grilled chicken rolled in greenchili and yogurt marinade. We've enjoyed their Chana masala, saag paneer, goat curry, and chicken tandoori, as well. If you want it spicy, hot usually does the job but you can also ask for spicier! Fully recommend this spot.

My friend and I both ordered dosa. She really loves the food here as it reminds her of home. She got a regular dosa that was extra crispy, and I ordered a onion dosa. This is a unique meal for me, and it definitely is different for my taste buds. The weather did not seem to know any English, but we were able to get the point across anyways. The restaurant has a nice ambience. It's always good to try something new!

Really good food. Really terrible service. I had to ask for attention to order and to pay.

Chicken Hakka noodles was excellent - close to Mumbai taste, and a good size portion. I can't wait to try other dishes on the menu

The external facade and parking didn't give me much confidence. However overall experience turned out to be great! Since it was close to 9pm when we entered, only couple of more tables were occupied. Menu was mix of north and South Indian food and we were not sure which way we should go. All were tired after a day of moving stuff and we decided to get Chana Masala and (forgot the name) pepper chicken. All entrees come with rice, so we ordered only couple of more garlic naans. Whole order was sufficient for 4 of us. Chana masala was South Indian style but was freshly made and tasty. Peeper chicken was cooked to perfection and was spicy, with a punch. The taste was unique. Best part was naan. Chef had prepared it fresh and was fluffy. I will even go back just for naans. Definitely worth a visit every time we are in neighborhood.

We have eaten at the restaurant for years now and my 2 year old loves their Dosa!! All the items we had in our menu were delicious... My personal favorites were the Apollo fish and the Malabar shrimp... The service was very very good.. Mr Amar was super helpful with all our requests and needs... With 2 little babies hosting an event there was so comfortable and wholesome due to their very friendly service and mouth watering food... Looking forward to hosting more parties there in the future...

But when I tell her about this place, I'm guessing she might not care as much. I've been wanting to try it for a while. Today I rolled the dice. And I'd say my experience was decidedly mixed. Basically, the samosa was excellent. Knowing her she'd love that. The Gobi Manchurian, one of my favorite dishes, was decent but I've had better flavors elsewhere. But I'm not complaining about it. Knowing her, she'd say it was OK at best. The Chicken 65, another of my favorites, is something I'm complaining about. The flavor was just way off. All I could taste was hot spice and lemon, and nothing else. Knowing her, she'd want to throw it out. I ordered it mild, but a lot of places where I do that it doesn't affect the other flavors. Maybe it does here. I will say they had a pretty decent mango lassi. So a couple things kept me from making this review worse. I'd come back here if I craved a good samosa and lassi as a snack. It's hard for me to try anything else past that now.

Just delicious. Warning: heat is as advertised. So even medium is above average spicy for Western tongues, I think. This I MUST underline. I don't want you to be disappointed. Mild spicy is probably acceptable for most Western tastes unaccustomed to really spicy food. Korma was good. Bread was acceptable. Online, they use Clover and I tried but it failed, had to phone in the order. Menu a little confusing. Large number of offerings welcome but just a bit overwhelming. Clover and website / paper menus may also not be exactly the same. Website and paper menus list Southern Indians dishes like Dosa which I could not find on Clover. Tried a dish I had never tasted, Karvepaku Paneer, a curry and chili / pepper flavored dish, and it was good. Expect a lot of heat, like real Szechuan cuisine. Found it on the Clover menu but could not find it on the paper menu. Oh and they do kebabs too. Excited to try this place again in the near future. Apparently this is a chain.

The Biriyani was well spiced but a little salty, nevertheless it was tasty. I've gotten it in medium spice before and I'd suggest getting it so, if you're someone who can handle spice- the flavor are stronger and it's more tastier when it's more spicy. The Chicken Lollipop was good and it came with a green sauce which complimented the Lollipops. Finally the Mango Lassi was chilled and sweet- not overly sweet, which is perfect. The service was adequate and so was the atmosphere.
