I…read moreexplained how I was going through financial hardships and that I had stopped visiting the facilities in hopes that they could cancel my contract early. I was basically told "you only have 2 months left, you'll be able to catch up". Being that I signed a contract, I came to terms with paying for those 2 months and agreed to do so once I had the available funds. Since then I have continuously received a new monthly bill with additional late fees tacked on, despite many attempts to settle up on those 2 months. Each time I've called I have been told by "Adam" that he has no way of getting in touch with the owner.. that this was a common issue others had with him.. that he would write my number down and call me back.. etc. I have sent half a dozen emails since then as well - not a single response. Meanwhile the late fees continue to rack up without ANY way of being able to settle or contact the owner. There is no website or instructions, other than to call... even the phone number on the bill is INCORRECT (had to Google the correct one) Summary: My bill is now double of what I actually owe them and it will continue to increase since their owner is incredibly dodgy and provides NO way to settle up.

A brand-new facility Tucktaway in a little community of Woodfin wedged in between Asheville and Weaverville is the only real major gym in the northern part of Buncombe County. It consist of treadmills elliptical bicycling in stair climb machines and a large set a very new weight machines in addition to a free weight area and several exercise rooms. Doesn't have a pool or sauna or hot tub unfortunately. And though I do have YMCA envy for the Southern location such as Arden I do you like my own little YMCA

After attending a couple of Saturday morning bootcamp classes at 9 am on a few different visits to Asheville, I wanted to try some mid-week classes. The coaches and students were friendly and focused. Aaron, the owner, stayed nearby to help me modify movements to my skill level. I walked away challenged and excited to return. I really appreciated that the coaches are committed to good technique and speak up to help correct incorrect movements. Although most of my fitness experience is anchored in dance training, I felt welcome at this Crossfit facility, and I wish I lived in the area so I could attend regularly.
