I…read moreexplained how I was going through financial hardships and that I had stopped visiting the facilities in hopes that they could cancel my contract early. I was basically told "you only have 2 months left, you'll be able to catch up". Being that I signed a contract, I came to terms with paying for those 2 months and agreed to do so once I had the available funds. Since then I have continuously received a new monthly bill with additional late fees tacked on, despite many attempts to settle up on those 2 months. Each time I've called I have been told by "Adam" that he has no way of getting in touch with the owner.. that this was a common issue others had with him.. that he would write my number down and call me back.. etc. I have sent half a dozen emails since then as well - not a single response. Meanwhile the late fees continue to rack up without ANY way of being able to settle or contact the owner. There is no website or instructions, other than to call... even the phone number on the bill is INCORRECT (had to Google the correct one) Summary: My bill is now double of what I actually owe them and it will continue to increase since their owner is incredibly dodgy and provides NO way to settle up.

I was intrigued by the offer on the ad for a boot camp type work out. Located on Riverside Drive, you might miss them if you don't look carefully, but once you find them I think you'll be happy. The staff is uber friendly and helpful and the programs are very good - group as well as personal type training. We did a month program which was great, but in the end we decided to to another round of p90x, which isn't any reflection upon the gym.....just not the right time or in our budget at that moment.

Having moved back to my hometown I wasn't ready to jump right in and join my parents old country club.......plus at $10K+ joining fee and $400 per month just to swim in a country club pool I was like.........uh............no thank you. Plus, my apartment building doesn't have a pool, so I do enjoy a dip a few times a week to relax and get a little vitamin D. The JCC does just that starting from Memorial Day to Labor Day for just a little over $200. With plenty of lounge chairs and grills to cook out, plus a nice sized changing/bathroom/shower room/locker room it has want I needed at the right price. It appears from the few times I have been there so far to be mostly family with kids...........which is fine as I see pools a lot like gyms.......NOT the place to try and meet single people of the opposite sex but to do only what you came there to do............and for me that is soak up the sun. Lucky for me, the other studio didn't call me back until after I booked 3 privates at Fusion. After my first session, I signed up for 2 more, for a total of 5 privates while I was in town. I've had a lot of private training and private pilates classes, and Amy is one of the best. Amy is compassionate, knowledgeable and a true teacher. She was mindful of my issues and gave me so many take-aways for me to use on my own. She also used some amazing heated props that helped loosen muscles and bring awareness to specific areas. My husband teased me that I would move to Asheville to continue working with Amy. Everyone should have this kind of training.

We had hoped for a positive experience at this childcare facility, and while there were some bright…read moremoments--particularly the friendships our child formed--there were also several challenges that are important for prospective families to be aware of. This may not be the best fit for children who are neurodivergent or who require additional stimulation, flexibility, or support. In our experience, the facility did not appear to have the resources, training, or willingness to accommodate children with higher energy levels or diverse developmental needs. It's also important to note that our child's needs and behavior fall well within the range of what medical professionals are considering typical, even if they require a bit more engagement. Families in similar situations may want to ask detailed questions upfront about how such needs are handled on a day-to-day basis. We also encountered inconsistencies that seemed tied to frequent staff turnover. At times, there appeared to be confusion around policies and procedures. For example, medication was administered for a period despite it not aligning with corporate policy, which we later confirmed independently. Situations like this raised concerns about internal communication and oversight. Most difficult, however, was the abruptness with which our child's enrollment ended. There was no meaningful transition or warning, which was especially hard given the relationships he had built. He still asks about his friends, and it has been a challenging adjustment. We understand that private facilities have broad discretion in these matters, but we hope to see more thoughtful approaches in the future--particularly when it comes to supporting children with varying needs and handling transitions in a way that minimizes emotional impact. Children deserve care environments that are prepared to meet them where they are. For clarity, we are not seeking a response from the facility. Our intention in sharing this experience in case it resonates and is simply to help inform other families as they evaluate whether this environment will meet their child's needs.

We couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, attention to detail, curriculum and commitment to it. The teachers are loving with the kids, but also teach them discipline and prepare them for kindergarten. We are very happy with the friendships, social skills, and progress academically that we see with our kids since they started there. Management is responsive and present daily.
