This gym is just GREAT! The environment is very welcoming. If you are new to the gym, after a couple of days you'll be a part of the Crossfit Blue Ash FAMILY. We not only see each other at the gym, but there are so many occasions where we just get together outside of the gym to hang out. The people at the gym have become my close friends where I can't wait to get off work to go to the gym to see them and work out. People are great there. They motivate me and cheer me on EVERYDAY. The gym is MORE than just working out. It's FUN! I go there to relax, hang out, but also while I'm getting WORK DONE. The trainers are great, too. They're always there to help. I've been a member for almost two years now and I'm still loving it. I've changed so much from the training I received at this gym. I've gotten so much healthier, stronger, and fit. I never thought I'd love Crossfit so much. I'm addicted! I go about 5-6 days a week! The main thing that keeps me here are the people here. The members and trainers are the best. I would never want to join another gym. This is where I started, but I also see myself staying here until I'm about 65 years old. People of all sizes and age are here (male and female). I have been an active member at CrossFit Blue Ash for three years now. I am currently 60 years old and have never been more fit in my life. I owe that not only to the gym and the excellent coaches, but the spirit and community of the membership and the inspiration derived from each and everyone of them. There is no judgment and you check your ego at the door. We do however have friendly competition and spirited camaraderie among the group. The coaching staff meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to be. The rest is up to you. I have to say, as an older guy, I was a bit intimidated by all the barbells and weight being thrown around at my first visit. But once you get into the group workouts, there's nothing like it. While they do have benchmark workouts that you can do every so often just to check your progress, the daily routine is anything but. You never do the same work out and thus you're always pushing yourself. I love the variety, I love the gym, I love the coaching staff... And the workouts are Top Notch!! I had been reading about Crossfit for months before I decided to join. Now, I can excitedly say that I have been part of the Crossfit community for the past 9 months. During my time I've had multiple experiences at other Crossfit facilities, and let me tell you the community and coaches at Crossfit Blue Ash are the best of the best. The trainers are dedicated to providing quality instruction and pushing each athlete to reach their fullest potential, regardless of their age or body type. The coaches are always encouraging and motivating. In addition to pushing you in your workout they also challenge you to take a look at your diet and are very positive in offering suggestions of how to improve what types of foods you're putting in your body. I have been going to CrossFit Blue Ash for almost a year now and have seen amazing improvements in my physical condition. I was an avid weightlifter before I started CrossFit and was always in the gym day in and day out but after a while I was not seeing they result. I decided to give CrossFit a try as many of my friends where already into it. After my first work out I was hooked, I wanted more. I was nervous going in but Dani made me feel right at home and CrossFit Blue Ash has become my second family. While traveling I have visited some other gyms and I have not been disappointed in other gyms but they did not have the atmosphere of CFBA. The coaches are amazing and if it wasn't for them my strength and speed would not have increased as much as it has. This is a remarkable place to go to get a new start in life. After nearly two decades of a sedentary life mixed with emotional distress and clinical depression I came across this place. Here, their 'no-nonsense' coaching (both mental and physical) will get you results. I have never found any other workout program that i could stick to for more than a week and i have been going for nearly a year. Here, you aren't only treated as a client, but as a friend that is truly valued. The sense of belonging and the community is something you just cant get anywhere else and leads to just as many results as the numbers on the scale or the weights on the bar. I'm a CrossFit neophyte, but I've been coming for almost two months now. The moves were new to me, and my fitness levels were relatively low (at least compared to the other members). My chief concern (aside from looking ridiculous) was avoiding injury - I didn't want to learn the moves, make progress, and then have to quit after I throw my back out. Fortunately, the trainers are accessible and pay close attention to form. If your back angle is off just a little bit, for example, you'll know about it. Aside from being accessible, the trainers are also encouraging. So is everyone else at the gym. Thanks to them, no matter how hard the workouts are for me, I'm still excited to come back and I don't get discouraged. I have been attending CFBA for almost 2 years and absolutely love it. On a whim I bought a 3 month membership GroupOn and 1 week into On Ramp classes, I was hooked! I knew early on that Blake Evans was a terrific coach. His wealth of knowledge about weightlifting and nutrition along with his tremendous talent in movement and mobility, has proven him to be a great mentor and coach. The family environment both Blake and Dani Miller have created at CFBA is unlike any other gym I have visited. They take CrossFit, as a sport, seriously, but still make class enjoyable. I started at CrossFit Blue Ash in 2014 with a 3-month trial and have never left. What began with a search to improve my fitness has become so much more.
