I had an AMAZING work out at Be Fit Training - Irvine. I booked my class on Classpass and I am so…read morehappy my schedule allowed me to squeeze in this workout. It was a "Strength" class with Joey and we were working on our upper body for the day. As with all first times visiting a studio, I arrived 10-15 minute early to sign waivers and settle in. Liz at front desk was super friendly and helpful. This studio is very thoughtful and well equipped. In the lobby there are lockers with a number pad for you to set your number code and merchandise for sale. As I entered the studio area, there is a water fountain for you to refill your water bottle. They have plenty of equipment and stations, so you don't need to bring anything. Just wear some comfortable workout clothes and tennis shoes. The work out area has many screens for information. I appreciate the visuals! Before class started, Joey came around to greet everyone. For the first timers to this studio, he asked about our injuries or areas of concerns. For the day of my class we had a warmup, 6 different stations, and a stretch/warmdown. Station 1: Seated Tricep Extensions Station 2: Kettlebell Bent Over Row Alternative Station 3: Military Press Station 4: Bench Press Narrow Grip Station 5: Floor Press Station 6: Incline Row The screens had visuals and helped us keep track of which rep we are on. Joey came around to check on our form and provided feedback so we could make the most out of our work out. I really liked how encouraging and motivational Joey was. An instructor with good energy like Joey is so important for my mental state during work outs. I really felt like I was being my best self during this work out. These classes change up every week and it'll be different each time you come. I only mentioned the above as an example. I really like changing things up from my usual work out because it really challenged my body to do better. Looking forward to trying more of the classes here at BFT. I'll be keeping an eye out for Joey on their schedule. I enjoyed this class enough to want to add BFT to my permanent workout routine.

I really like the heart rate monitors that make each workout a game and help me stay on track of how hard I'm working in each exercise. I love the variety of the workouts that keep things fresh and interesting so I stay motivated, but consistent enough that I see actual results. The mix of strength, cardio, powerlifting, endurance, and stretching means that every week I get well rounded workouts and don't burn out doing too much of any one thing. Definitely the best classes style gym I've ever been to.

The club is spacious, bright, well designed, and easy to access. I appreciate the towel service, the layout, and how convenient it is to get in and out. Overall, it has been a great place to work out, and that is why I have remained a loyal member for several years. As I began bringing family members with me, however, I noticed a few areas where I believe the club could become even better. One of the biggest opportunities for improvement is the addition of a family restroom. Some families, including those caring for minors or individuals with disabilities or other support needs, may require assistance from a caregiver of the opposite sex. A dedicated family restroom would make the club much more accessible and welcoming. As more families are living with autism and other developmental disabilities, I believe this would be a valuable addition that reflects the needs of today's community. I also have a few suggestions that I think would make an already great club even better: * Add a family restroom. * Reopen the additional court that has been closed for a long time, potentially increasing pickleball availability. * Open and utilize the dedicated training area for glute-focused workouts, similar to other LA Fitness locations. * Offer specialized glute and core fitness classes. * Consider adding group martial arts classes such as kickboxing or Taekwondo. I believe these would attract many new members and make this location stand out even more. Overall, I still enjoy this club and plan to continue my membership. The facility is excellent, and the management has generally been supportive and helpful.

The space feels modern, open, and thoughtfully designed, and it definitely has the premium atmosphere you expect from Lifetime. A huge plus for me personally is the basketball court. Having a quality court available is a big reason I enjoy coming here, and I love that basketball is actually incorporated into the club rather than feeling like an afterthought. There are a couple of areas I think could be improved. The sauna and steam room feel pretty small considering the overall size of the gym and the number of members using the facility. During busier hours, they can get crowded quickly. For a club of this size and price point, I think larger sauna and steam room facilities would make a big difference. I'd also really like to see Lifetime reconsider its membership policy regarding family members. Membership additions shouldn't be limited so strictly to people living in the same household. It would be great if members had more flexibility to add immediate family members, such as parents, even if they live at a different address. Families don't always live under one roof, and allowing more flexibility would make the membership much more valuable. Parking only being validated for three hours is a little annoying. Feel like it should be at least four-five hours. Overall, Lifetime Irvine is still a great facility. I love the design, layout, basketball court, and overall atmosphere. With some improvements to the sauna/steam room capacity and a more flexible family membership policy, it could be even better

The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. I'm still a member so yes, but it could improve.

The workouts are strong, but that's not the differentiator. The community is. You see the same people consistently, and over time it becomes a tight, supportive group. It's rare to find a gym where you actually look forward to who's going to be there, not just what's programmed. Programming is thoughtful and well-balanced -- strength + high-intensity cardio -- and it never gets stale. Chris (owner/instructor) is especially good at reading people and pushing you just past where you think your limit is. You end up doing more than you expected, regularly. There's also real connection beyond the floor. They organize occasional events -- I recently did a cooking class with ~20 women from the gym -- and it adds another layer to the experience. I've always been active, but this is the first time in 20+ years I've been this consistent. That's not accidental -- it's because of the environment. If you want a place that will push you, keep you accountable, and make you want to show up, this is it.

I love walking into the gym not knowing what to expect, and being surprised by a new challenge each time. It keeps things fresh, fun, and far from boring--even after all these years! They've also added some new equipment, which has taken the workouts to another level--more dynamic, more engaging, and definitely more effective. The thought and creativity put into each class really show. This place isn't just a gym--it's a community and a source of daily motivation for both physical and mental health. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fitness routine that keeps you on your toes.
