Jon is great. He'll work with you to cater your training needs. He does a great job of explaining the plans. Steve is the trainer that got assigned to me based on my goals and my time availability. He does a good job of giving you workouts, making sure your form is right, keeping you in check, and being very flexible with your schedule. I tell him if I'm training for a half marathon or Spartan race, and he'll cater the workouts to what's needed. The physical gym is great because it's not too busy at certain times, so it's perfect for all backgrounds of training. They also offer massages, cupping, saunas and cold plunges. She's patient, explains form and technique in a way that actually makes sense, and takes the time to make sure you're doing things right. Because of that, I've gotten noticeably stronger and feel way more confident lifting than I ever have before. I also have to shout out her dynamic cupping therapy... It's been a total game changer and has helped me feel better from the inside out. With my busy schedule, flexibility matters a lot to me, and both Anh and the manager, Steve, have been super accommodating and easy to work with. They genuinely show up and support you, which I really appreciate. Jungle Fitness is judgment-free but still keeps you accountable and motivated, and working out alongside others in a small group is a great balance of chill and discipline, and I'm stoked to be training here.

The place is spacious compared to other workout studios I've been to in the area. The format is mainly 5 stations with an A & B exercise. You can start at any of the 5 stations & you'll do sets of the A workout followed by the B workout or vice versa. Monday/Wednesday is upper body Tuesday is lower body Thursday is glutes and abs Friday through the weekend is full body (this location isn't open Sunday so you'll have to hit up their other location) We've been going to the evening classes which are taught by Meghan. Who I'd say is one of our favorite instructors (we've been to two other instructor's classes). She's good with explaining and keeping time. She's also a good balance of being a cheerleader/"woo girl" or coming over when you're butchering the exercise! Be prepared to say hello & give your workout buddies high fives!

It was a "Strength" class with Joey and we were working on our upper body for the day. As with all first times visiting a studio, I arrived 10-15 minute early to sign waivers and settle in. Liz at front desk was super friendly and helpful. This studio is very thoughtful and well equipped. In the lobby there are lockers with a number pad for you to set your number code and merchandise for sale. As I entered the studio area, there is a water fountain for you to refill your water bottle. They have plenty of equipment and stations, so you don't need to bring anything. Just wear some comfortable workout clothes and tennis shoes. The work out area has many screens for information. I appreciate the visuals! Before class started, Joey came around to greet everyone. For the first timers to this studio, he asked about our injuries or areas of concerns. For the day of my class we had a warmup, 6 different stations, and a stretch/warmdown. Station 1: Seated Tricep Extensions Station 2: Kettlebell Bent Over Row Alternative Station 3: Military Press Station 4: Bench Press Narrow Grip Station 5: Floor Press Station 6: Incline Row The screens had visuals and helped us keep track of which rep we are on. Joey came around to check on our form and provided feedback so we could make the most out of our work out. I really liked how encouraging and motivational Joey was. An instructor with good energy like Joey is so important for my mental state during work outs. I really felt like I was being my best self during this work out. These classes change up every week and it'll be different each time you come. I only mentioned the above as an example. I really like changing things up from my usual work out because it really challenged my body to do better. Looking forward to trying more of the classes here at BFT. I'll be keeping an eye out for Joey on their schedule. I enjoyed this class enough to want to add BFT to my permanent workout routine.

I really like the heart rate monitors that make each workout a game and help me stay on track of how hard I'm working in each exercise. I love the variety of the workouts that keep things fresh and interesting so I stay motivated, but consistent enough that I see actual results. The mix of strength, cardio, powerlifting, endurance, and stretching means that every week I get well rounded workouts and don't burn out doing too much of any one thing. Definitely the best classes style gym I've ever been to.

The facility itself is beautiful, upscale, and consistently clean, with thoughtful amenities like Kiehl's products in the locker rooms that make the experience feel elevated. What really makes this gym stand out, though, are the amazing instructors. Cory for spin, Mariah for mat Pilates, and Haly, Isaiah, and Carmen for Alpha are some of my favorites. Last year, around May 2025, they introduced CTR, a reformer-based Pilates class that was a total game changer for me. I no longer needed to go to a separate Pilates studio. Rob and KO helped build the program, and they were both spectacular. Rob is rarely there now, and KO recently left the gym. In my opinion, Anisa Diaz is an exceptional CTR instructor. Honestly, she's great in every class I've taken with her, including spin and mat Pilates. No two CTR classes with her are ever the same. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, has excellent flow, and every movement feels intentional and challenging in the best way. She consistently brings fresh ideas and new challenges that keep the classes engaging and fun. She truly elevated the entire experience. However, over the past few months, some of her classes have been cut, and I feel the CTR program has started to feel lacking and subpar. Because of that, I've found myself returning to private Pilates studios like Drenched OC, Anodetome, Sol, and Jetset Pilates, which are all fantastic if you're considering a private studio experience. At this point, I mainly take CTR at Life Time only when Anisa is teaching. Overall, I'm still very happy with Life Time. I just wish they would bring more energy -- and Anisa -- back to CTR.

Unfortunately, the front desk experience has consistently been disappointing. There are always several staff members standing at the front, but when issues are brought up, they tend to repeat the same response instead of actually helping resolve the situation. What's even more frustrating is that when you ask to speak with a manager, suddenly everyone claims to be the manager, yet no one is able to provide a solution. On top of that, membership fees have been increased without proper notice. For a gym at this level, I expected much better customer service and communication.

The workouts are strong, but that's not the differentiator. The community is. You see the same people consistently, and over time it becomes a tight, supportive group. It's rare to find a gym where you actually look forward to who's going to be there, not just what's programmed. Programming is thoughtful and well-balanced -- strength + high-intensity cardio -- and it never gets stale. Chris (owner/instructor) is especially good at reading people and pushing you just past where you think your limit is. You end up doing more than you expected, regularly. There's also real connection beyond the floor. They organize occasional events -- I recently did a cooking class with ~20 women from the gym -- and it adds another layer to the experience. I've always been active, but this is the first time in 20+ years I've been this consistent. That's not accidental -- it's because of the environment. If you want a place that will push you, keep you accountable, and make you want to show up, this is it.
