In Price County, there could not be a more amazing restaurant than this. Seriously. Not only is the…read morefood just simply amazing every single time, but the owners care so much about their customers. People say that on Yelp all the time, but Dawn and Jimmy at The Rail Trail Cafe are two amazing people who have done so much for the small town of Ogema as they welcome their patrons as if they are guests in their home. I adore them both, and when I visit the restaurant with my family, I feel like it's a cozy family meal more than it is "eating at a restaurant." It's an exceedingly difficult task to capture this vibe, but the fantastic owners do this with signature style. To say they are an asset to the town does not do their dedication justice...they are both much more than that. They are amazing community members, and I am so happy every time I see the place busy, which is often because the food is baller. If you are local, you will always see a friend there, and if you are not local, I dare you to leave without having met a new friend. Crazy great service, plus amazing eats, are all you need to know! The Rail Trail Cafe in Ogema does not knock it out of the park, they are the park! LOVE this place! Even if you are just passing through, do not be remiss and cheat yourself out of this unique charm.

Medo's Family Style Restaurant - Mexican Omelette- it also comes with hash browns, but our server knew I was giving them to my dad, so they were kindly served on his plate.

I have mostly been for breakfast, but I have had a delicious burger there as well. Everyone is cheerful, and breakfast visits are especially lovely due to all the banter shared among fun-loving locals. For what it's worth, the Mexican omelette I had during my most recent visit was highly underwhelming compared to what one expects. The meat was not well-seasoned, nor was it plentiful. Definitely not what one would consider taco meat. It was cooked a bit too long, but that didn't mess with the egg flavor. I'm including a photo, but keep in mind it also comes with hash browns. The waitress knew I was giving them to my dad, so she kindly had the chef put them on his plate of eggs. His eggs cooked over easy looked so delicious, and he claimed they were, in fact, delicious.

The prime rib was perfectly seasoned and melted in your mouth. The shrimp scampi sauce was super flavorful with excellent jumbo shrimp. The restaurant is really cute inside with a nice bar and a big deck with outside seating overlooking Half Moon Lake. We also love their Friday night fish fry, the old fashioneds, and ice cream drinks. As another reviewer mentioned, literally the only thing that would make this place better would be larger water glasses

Traveling from Minneapolis through Wisconsin on our way home to Ohio we found ourselves in Tomahawk, WI. Using YELP to find the best restaurants in the area we decided to try the Birch Supper Club which was ranked as the # 1 restaurant in the area. The Silver Birch Supper Club was more than what we hoped to find. The food was spectacular and the employees were so kind and helpful (my wife has some serious health problems). Our server, Oriana, was extremely kind and understanding. Being in Wisconsin I felt obligated to order a Brandy Old Fashioned, and it was one of the best drinks I have ever had! Hats off to you ma'am. We live in Cincinnati, but we are already encouraging our daughters to bring their families to the Tomahawk area and to go to the Silver Birch Supper Club on vacation. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would.

They serve Food and Drink as well. Was there with a bunch of folks from Berwyn, IL which was a Czech Stronghold back in the day with a Bohemian restaurant on practically every block. When we saw "Little Bohemia", we were eager customers. Pre-prandial de rigueur in WIsco calls for Brandy Old Fashioneds, and they were quite tasty. The menu actually is more Germanic than Czech, but that's ok. Close enough. There was a Bohemian Rye bread service with a trio of compound butters, all so average I cant remember what they were except for the one wot had chopped olives. That one was fine. There was a relish tray that had a bizzare spread of Peas and Peanuts in a white cream sauce. We couldn't figure out what to do with it. Never saw anything like it in any of the many Bohemian (or Deutsche) joints any of us had ever been to. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fab either. Now there was a Mushroom soup offered and it was really really yum! Could have had 3 bowls of that and called it a night. For entrees, Roast Duck was on the specials and one of our party got the last order before it was 86'd. Most of us were going to order it as well, so hearing it was off the twig made us scramble back to the menu. My pal who knows the difference said the duck was great. I swung with a pork schnitzel, spaetzle and rotkohl. All three were pretty good. Not as good as the Czech joints in Berwyn, but good nonetheless. Wife had a steak which she was not impressed with. That Schnitzel was $32, by the way, which I thought was a little dear. $32 will just about buy a fine dinner for 2 in any of the remaining Czech joints in the Berwyn area. Service was fine, and we were in the room wot had most of the Dillinger artifacts. I'm throwing 4 for this place 'cos the evening was pleasant, and the basehits overrode the strikeouts...
