I was met by Matt at the counter, who I explained my situation to, and even though it didn't look good for my transmission or my pocketbook, they repaired a major tranny leak, refilled the line, and charged me at such a MINIMAL rate, I broke down in tears. They allowed me to use my own transmission fluid (to save money) and took me to the Service area, showing me the problem(s) and what they had done to fix them while my car was up on the lift. I have never felt so taken care of and so honestly served. For a mechanic shop, this is UNHEARD OF customer service. They have a customer for life in me. Do I have a story,…read more Driving back from traders joes (I own a 99 Subaru) up 29th back home my car's oil temp gage was going up. I stopped the car and opened the hood, my radiator fluid had exploded everywhere and making a puddle below the car. I towed it to Tire Rama because that's where I've gone for oil changes and a few other things. They checked my radiator and found it cracked. For a new radiator, a flush, a new thermostat, and (their recommendation) new tubes, about 650.00 dollars. I thought if the problem isn't the tubes forget that, which reduced it down to 458.00. I told them I'd get back to them, called 2 other auto shops and they both quoted me 325.00 for the same job.... I told Tire Rama manager about this, told me they would work on it for that price... I just had to show him that quote on paper from the other shop... For me this was a little more work than I had already done and wanted to do, my work schedule is not friendly to getting anything else done, and to begin with they where charging me about 133.00 more than 2 other competitors and on top of that I thought why do I need to bring the other quote? It's actually easier for me to tow it again and send it to Bill's Import Auto Repair, which is exactly what I did. About 2 days later after I sent it in my car was ready. I recommend them, they actually have a guy named Bill! They are independent (support local!!!) and they gave me what is the fair market price for a job like the one my car needed.

As single woman, I had other mechanics present as untrustworthy so it was wonderful find an honest dealership. NOPE! My mini cooper is now almost destroyed because of their shoddy work and I'm out thousands of dollars and I've had the run around. Below is part of the complaint I've made to both the BBB and Attorney Generals Office. We are waiting on a response from the business to determine if small claims court is next to recoup our losses. He installed after market parts in my car repeatedly with repairs lasting barely two years. THERE IS A PATTERN HERE OF CHEAP PARTS, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, MYSTERY CHARGES AND ZERO TRANSPARENCY. HE WILL PUT IN CHEAP AFTER MARKET PARTS THAT WILL CRAP OUT IN ABOUT TWO YEARS AND DESTROY YOUR ENGINE. BELOW IS PART OF THE LEGAL FILINGS WITH BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE : I am writing to formally demand immediate resolution regarding the defective turbo installation and associated damages to my vehicle, which directly stem from your shop's substandard workmanship and repeated use of faulty parts. This is not the first time I have been left to bear the financial and emotional burden of your shop's negligence, and I will not tolerate this pattern any longer. The Facts Defective Turbo Installation and Catastrophic Damage: The turbo installed in my vehicle has suffered a catastrophic failure in just over two years, despite the fact that I rarely drive my car. The failure has caused 3 liters of oil to pour into the catalytic converter and seep into the tubing, leaving my vehicle in a disastrous state and requiring extensive corrective work. History of Shoddy Workmanship and Defective Parts: You replaced the valve cover, but that repair barely lasted two years before the part failed. Despite the warranty, I was forced to cover out-of-pocket expenses that should have been fully covered. The amount of times they put our family in true dangerous situations is ridiculous. And them pushing these crappy warranties on you is bogus. They even submit false claims to the warranty company, get their replacement parts from junk yards, and don't even complete work that they then bill you for. The only reason we continued to bring our car for maintenance with them was because we wanted it covered under the warranty. OH! And they claimed as your car depreciates in value, so does your warranty coverage - COMPLETE bogus and false information. That is NOT how warranties work. Within the last year, Car Emporium "completed" maintenance on our car to "fix" it, billed the warranty company and us as well for false work. I kid you not, just 2 months after they "completed" their work, it died on the side of the road on two separate occasions. I drove it 4 times and the drive shaft shredded again. Dan's explanation was that I ordered the part wholesale rather than spending the 700 he quoted me. I returned that driveshaft and bought a second, more expensive model from a wholly different place only to have this one shred again within half a mile of the shop. Again his explanation was cheap parts. I've now purchased this very basic American part twice from 2 separate manufacturers at my own cost and time. It's now almost September and I still don't have my truck. These men are not mechanics. They are con artists.

Instead of selling me a new A/C pump as most other garages would do he found out it just needed a shim to work properly and fixed it for a very minimal charge. The shop does appointments and walk-ins. My oil change was done in 40 minutes. I sat in the waiting area. There is a water machine, coffee, tea and television. The business says Grand Opening on the outside. I would come back again for service! The cost was reasonable especially compared to the other shops I called.
