Hearty and filling food after a long trip through a blizzard. It was my first time eating there even though I have driven by for years. We ordered their fries, two different soups, the Italian sandwich (can't find it in the menu or in my photos, but it was a sandwich with Italian sauce instead of BBQ). Food was good. We did not finish everything, and both sandwiches made great lunches the next day!

    Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

Ordered take out from this place. Rookie mistake they put all the crispy foods in a plastic container without venting so everything got soggy, no biggie we just reheated it once we got it home Chicken Parmesan sandwich: the chicken and sauce was actually decent. However they put it on a hamburger bun, such a sin; and for the price not worth it. French fries were fine once reheated. Garbage wings: I mean they are a solid ok better once reheated and crisped up. They put the side dressing and veggies in the same container, so nice a warm haha. The sauce was good. Probably better on site. Service: Took about 30 mins on a Sunday night for the take out order. They were pretty busy so makes sense. (However, they did lose a credit card in our party and then tried to blame our party member, when in fact they gave their card to the wrong person haha awkward, but stuff happens all good) Ambiance: Nice enough. Clean. Can get noisy when busy but that's their vibe.

Some restaurants in the area were not pleasant to even obtain pricing. Brewer's answered the phone and they were wonderful from our initial conversation, right up until the last few moments of our night there. We ordered Tier 2 - five appetizers and two entrees. Our appetizers were Caprese Salad, Charcuterie Board, Veggie Board, Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Poutine. All were freshly prepared presented in a timely manner. Our entrees were the brisket and the salmon. The brisket was smoked for four hours and was the best brisket many of us had ever had. The salmon was cooked to perfection and delicious. We would definitely host another party at Brewer's and now we have a go-to place for when we are in the area for a family meal. Loved our experience here!

We went a little after they opened and it was a great time because it wasn't too busy. Any time I drive by the parking lot is full. They have parking in the front and around the right side of the building. I tried the Meier's Creek Choccy Milk, Other Half BA 10X Bananaversary, TALEA Beer Hibiscus Splash, and Allagash Allagash White and I enjoyed all of them. The bathrooms were clean and easy to find and I can't wait to go back in the spring/summer to check out their outside seating because they have about 15 tables. They also host a game night and have live music. Definitely a hotspot in the Ithaca area.

I figured it'd be a good, no frills lunch option with some distant lake views based on the pictures I'd seen online. There's no formal wait service as you have to order food/drinks at the bar, and also head back to the bar to pick up your food when it's ready. Food is served in clunky plastic take out containers. It was a slow wait as it took 20-25 minutes for them to prepare the food. While waiting, I had a chance to explore the interior of the place, and was quite impressed with their collection of bobbleheads on display. Some were of presidents, while many were of pop culture like superheroes/villains and animated television characters (I liked their line up of Simpsons bobbleheads)...definitely gave off some quirky dive bar vibes. We ordered a local beer, mozzarella sticks, a cheeseburger, and a chicken sandwich. The mozzarella sticks were the frozen food service kind without much of a taste, and served with bland marinara sauce. The cheeseburger was quite small and also lacked any seasoning/flavor. The side of onion rings were also underwhelming and not worth the cost. The chicken sandwich was probably the best of the items we ordered, but was mediocre otherwise. All in all, the food was average at best, with nothing being particularly memorable, so worthy of an overall 3/5 Yelp rating from me. While I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal, it seems many of the reviews you find online are inflated due to the views of Cayuga Lake off in the distance. While it's a really nice location, they could do better in terms of food quality, so I likely would not return, and recommend others to drive an additional 8-12 minutes into Ithaca for better quality food.

For mains I tried the vodka gnocchi and the cod stew. Both were excellent! I think if I were to return I would get the cod stew though- it is much more unique. We tried the pumpkin cake and the poppyseed coconut almond cake. I truly don't think I could pick a favorite. I wish the whipped cream was also homemade though. I accidentally missed my reservation because it was the day before and I hadn't realized but he still accommodated and we were able to be seated still in the barstool area. The food is amazing. I always order Eggs "Edinburgh." Best poached eggs I have ever eaten. I used to think poached eggs were mid and then this place opened my third eye. I don't even liked smoked salmon but they do something special here it is so good. I can't remember the dessert's name and its not on the menu but they have this orange/poppyseed/coconut cake that is the best cake I have ever had in my entire life. I feel like I'm glazing so hard it doesn't even sound genuine, but my truth is every single other brunch place is mid compared to here. It is a very cutely decorated place and the servers are so kind. I would go back to Ithaca just for Allechant's Eggs Edinburgh and cake. I think of their food often. I chase that high that those eggs gave me, but nothing ever compares unfortunately, and I am just left disappointed. One day I will be back for you, Allechant.
