Stopped at the milkstand for breakfast this morning. I was afraid wait would be long and with 3 kids that can be difficult but we only had to wait 5-10 minutes. This restaurant ran like a well oiled machine, everyone chipping in to grab empty plates, run food, fill coffee, clean tables... Our waitress was awesome! Extremely attentive and hospitable. - now to the food, I won't post a menu pic because there's plenty of them posted. We ordered the chocolate strawberry waffle, Brie French brioche, a Belgian waffle, the baked apple pancake and a side of chicken with sweet garlic sauce. Everything was delicious!! Overall a very positive experience. Service leads the review. I had the eggs Benedict, because I don't eat meat, I had it without ham. When they brought out my food, the server bringing out my food, asked if I would like any water. When she returned with the water, she asked if I would like any avocado since I didn't get ham. Anytime the servers we go to another table with coffee they would swing back around and check to see if I wanted more coffee. It felt like the servers enjoyed their jobs and were not trying to take any shortcuts and were genuinely trying to make it a positive experience. The food was good. Overall, the food wasn't amazing. It was not the best hollandaise sauce I've ever had in my life and the poached eggs felt flat and somewhat small. However, there hashbrowns were probably the best I've ever had. They were very crispy on the outside. Like ASMR crispy. But flaky and buttery on the inside. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. It was very cold inside on the day that I was there, but it was also very hot outside and so this may have been deliberate. Aesthetically it's very pleasant. Ever since I could remember, I always enjoyed dining in local neighborhood diner. I find something comforting and fun while eating at a diner. We did not have to wait for long for our food. I ordered the vegetarian omelette. The omelette came with green peppers, spinach and green onions. The meal came with hash browns, a choice of rye bread, white, wheat, or English muffin. Delicious. I've been meaning to check out Milkstand for a while and finally got the opportunity. It has a wonderfully warm and inviting ambiance with a relaxed, cozy diner vibe. The constant coffee refills were a huge plus. I had the Milkstand Omelette, which was great and tasty, though a little bit too cheesy for my personal preference. Owner has a terrible attitude, food is crazy expensive and they try wayyyy too hard to be "trendy". Not a fan.

I passed by this place several times driving they have like a simple but elegant eye catching design black-and-white usually used for luxury stuff like Kate Spade so I get it draws the eye and then when you go to the parking lot, there's a lot of luxury cars which that's not any basis of quality but you know Maybe it's worth checking out. It's a very cute place with decor. It's open for lunch and breakfast. Our server was really friendly and nice. I had eggs Benedict. They were perfectly fine. My wife liked her vegetarian omelette very much. This is this is probably when the nicer like brunch breakfast places in the area like if you wanna have like a sitdown brunch I kinda like it I mean, I haven't tried a whole bunch of places, but yeah this is definitely very convenient for me and pretty nice so I'm very satisfied. will definitely return read more

We had the ham and cheese crepe which was tasty but I got bored about halfway through...could have been smaller and combined with something to be more interesting. My daughter had the chocolate, strawberry waffle. Again good but nothing overly special. The best brunch spot in Ithaca! It's not only so cute and trendy inside, but the food is sooo yummy. I came here with my friend on a Saturday morning for some brunch and quickly scarfed down my whole meal. I ordered the belgian waffle with a side of home fries which was delicious. Our son was a student at Cornell. Every time we would drive up from Ohio to visit him we'd eat at least one breakfast here. There are several good restaurants in the area, but few great ones. This is one of the best. Parking can be tricky, and they're busy during the school year, but the wait for a table is usually short. The ambience is lively but relaxing, the staff is always friendly and professional. The food is outstanding. It always comes out quickly and hot. They source their ingredients locally and I'd be surprised if they don't make their sauces from scratch. This is a very cute and popular little restaurant in Ithaca. It's a bright interior with booth and table seating. There were quite a few folks waiting inside and outside when I arrived. It took a few minutes for the host to come back to the stand but they were polite and put me in the waiting room list. I waited about 20 minutes before I was texted for my table. My server was polite and cheerful. Despite a nice drink and cocktail list, I just ordered biscuits and sausage gravy. The sausage gravy had a nice hint of rosemary but the biscuits were bland and a bit dry. I do wish there had been a bit more sausage in it. And I'd have loved an option on the menu to add an egg. My server checked in on how I liked my plate and kept my water glass full. When she came to see if I wanted anything else, I asked her opinion on the dessert crepes. She made a couple of suggestions (one being the one I mentioned) and highlighted the differences in a way that helped me pick. The chocolate and banana crepe was delicious and light, as promised. Was looking for brunch in Ithaca and Milkstand came up on my suggested places to check out. The inside decor and the seating is very comfortable and nice. The atmosphere is awesome, and the service was exceptional! We were checked in on our drinks, appetizers, and entrees continuously. I even needed a coffee refill at one point, and they were instant! Love it! The portions are generous here and the pricing can be a little high but I believe for the amount of food you get from your order there is value here.
