Melt in your mouth Onion Rings
    Ronnie C.

Went for a Harley ride in the country and was taking the back roads to Weir. I was slowing to turn when I smelled delicious hamburgers. I looked over and I could see a beer sign through the window. So I pulled in and ordered a double meat cheeseburger and onion rings and a Shiner IPA. The lady that helped me was super friendly and down to earth. When the burger came out I knew I was in trouble. Lol. It was very good and the onion rings just melted in my mouth. Very happy I stumbled into this place. She even oversee me a frozen glass mug to pour my beer into.

What ever u do not follow directions it gives u on gps cause for some reason it takes u to Bartlett. But it is before that. If u don't watch out for it u will miss it. Coming from 35. The place is a very nice and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly. The hamburger was delicious and so was the chicken fried steak. We will be coming back again.

This establishment cooked great food when it was open. However, it's been closed permanently for quite some time.

Great little down home Texas cafe! Fun excursion, great people and food. If traditional country cafes are your jam, it's worth a visit.

Servers at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Ours suggested her favorite items since it was our first time, and it didn't disappoint. Inside you'll find some booths along the perimeter of the room and large, round tables with wonderful upholstered chairs in the center. Can't say enough about the comfort of the chairs- very upscale. Our server was very sweet and efficient- there when we needed her but not hovering. The food is glorious. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the food is so good we did not mind the prices. I had the chicken and waffles - nicely crisp chicken breast with very tasty waffles. My husband and granddaughter-in-law had the steak and eggs - with really good potatoes and onions; both were SO impressed with the flavor and the preparation. (I will be having this next time!). My grandson had 'Hong Kong' French toast, which I believe was made with Japanese milk bread and had berries and a custard. Also came with eggs and bacon. He could not speak highly enough about it. The portions are LARGE. We all took food home. I shared my plate with my great granddaughter (2 yrs) and still took food home! Honestly, we had booked another restaurant for the weekend of Mother's Day (day before) and we canceled that reservation so that we could go back to Farmers Commons! It's that good. Also, all the folks working when we were there were very sweet with my great granddaughter; we appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend for brunch. Now i want to try dinner too!

It's a cute nostalgic space with old-timey instruments displayed in the corners and has a really unique feel. The wait staff is friendly and funny and very knowledgeable about the menu. Personally, I've had the big thick burger and the pulled pork sandwich. Both are delicious. Others have had the chicken fried steak, the lasagna, and everyone I've gone there with loved it. Great comfort food and delicious pie for dessert. Try it, you'll like it!

Full bar avaliable and if I recall breakfast lunch and dinner sold all day! I had french toast and cheese grits- tasted just like it does at home- as expected I guess but nothing that gave me the wow factor I was hoping for, cheese grits however were really good, Kinda thick but packed with flavor! Eggs were cooke just right and potatoes were good too however came out luke warm like they had sat for a bit before being sent out, the pancakes were kinda like the french toast as it tasted like something you make at home but still good! Lots of pies to choose from- I went with a slice of buttermilk to go! It was good but i'd try something different next time I come by! We were at right away around 11am on saturday. Our waitress was nice and everything was out quick! The bathroom however needs some work- definitely something that's been there for QUITE sometime with no fix ups- dirty floors and walls, leaking handle when you go to flush. I will be back to check out more of the menu next time we are in the area!

I'm also a first time mom and not working currently so my funds are low for spending. My only complaint is that they really really really need to put fans on the patio cause I was swatting away flies the entire time I was eating. I wouldn't eat outside again. I went for breakfast and had a 3-meat omlette which I actually couldn't even finish cause I was full. It was a little weird getting the apple juice in a cup full of ice but I guess I could have gotten more if I wanted it. I'd like to back for lunch sometime.
