Melt in your mouth Onion Rings
    Ronnie C.

Went for a Harley ride in the country and was taking the back roads to Weir. I was slowing to turn when I smelled delicious hamburgers. I looked over and I could see a beer sign through the window. So I pulled in and ordered a double meat cheeseburger and onion rings and a Shiner IPA. The lady that helped me was super friendly and down to earth. When the burger came out I knew I was in trouble. Lol. It was very good and the onion rings just melted in my mouth. Very happy I stumbled into this place. She even oversee me a frozen glass mug to pour my beer into.

What ever u do not follow directions it gives u on gps cause for some reason it takes u to Bartlett. But it is before that. If u don't watch out for it u will miss it. Coming from 35. The place is a very nice and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly. The hamburger was delicious and so was the chicken fried steak. We will be coming back again.

This establishment cooked great food when it was open. However, it's been closed permanently for quite some time.

Great little down home Texas cafe! Fun excursion, great people and food. If traditional country cafes are your jam, it's worth a visit.

A great place to eat. I love the hamburgers there. Nothing fancy, just good comfort food.

Great hidden Gem out in the country. Friendly people, great food, old time neighborly atmosphere. Great music too!

What a great find! The location is gorgeous - it's a winery, so think green and lush. The building…read moreitself is a beautiful, ivy covered stone with large windows letting in all the light. Inside you'll find some booths along the perimeter of the room and large, round tables with wonderful upholstered chairs in the center. Can't say enough about the comfort of the chairs- very upscale. Our server was very sweet and efficient- there when we needed her but not hovering. The food is glorious. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the food is so good we did not mind the prices. I had the chicken and waffles - nicely crisp chicken breast with very tasty waffles. My husband and granddaughter-in-law had the steak and eggs - with really good potatoes and onions; both were SO impressed with the flavor and the preparation. (I will be having this next time!). My grandson had 'Hong Kong' French toast, which I believe was made with Japanese milk bread and had berries and a custard. Also came with eggs and bacon. He could not speak highly enough about it. The portions are LARGE. We all took food home. I shared my plate with my great granddaughter (2 yrs) and still took food home! Honestly, we had booked another restaurant for the weekend of Mother's Day (day before) and we canceled that reservation so that we could go back to Farmers Commons! It's that good. Also, all the folks working when we were there were very sweet with my great granddaughter; we appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend for brunch. Now i want to try dinner too!

Servers at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Ours suggested her favorite items since it was our first time, and it didn't disappoint. The Farmers burger is deliciously tender and smoky in flavor. The grilled Caesar was a gigantic portion with all the traditional flavors with a twist! The truffle & mushroom pizza was delicious! For dessert we split a slice of lemon cake and we were stuffed!!!

Since I was headed toward McGregor, I decided to stop and wouldn't you know it, they were running a special on chicken fried steak. It got me "hooked on phonics" right away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with big smiles and a warm welcome. Super friendly staff all around. I didn't waste any time...ordered my chicken fried steak as soon as my waitress, Paisley, came by (I wasn't playin' lol). Service was quick, food came out hot, and it did not disappoint. Paisley also recommended the broccoli and rice casserole, which ended up being the perfect side. Overall, the food hit the spot...I was starvin' like Marvin, lol . If you're ever in town or just passing through, this is a cute little place worth stopping at. I'll definitely be back!

The service was good and the food had a nice southern flare. I had the bacon cheeseburger and added avocado. All the ingredients were super fresh and it really hit the spot. As my side I paid extra to have loaded fries. In my opinion the burger was the highlight of the meal. My wife had the loaded baked potato. Their ranch dressing was very tasty with the potato. Not a destination restaurant but in my opinion it was the one and only restaurant within a 10 minute drive.
