This small pub is located in a strip center next to a Shell gas station in Sun City. This place is actually popular with Sun City residents and they like to drive their golf carts here. You might be glad to know this place does have a full bar, however, I was disappointed in the fact that they have a very limited craft beer selection which is odd for a pub. No frozen drinks either. The interior is relatively small with 8 4-tops and several two tops and equipped with 5 flatscreens. They do have a smaller adjacent room which could be used for private parties. All the food pictured in this review was pretty decent and the pizza was actually larger than I expected, especially for the money. The service was good and I have to admit that lunch for $58 without tip for three people including four beers is very reasonable. There's no dessert on the menu, but it's worth inquiring about since they have it occasionally. For the money, this place is worth four stars.

Lively neighborhood pub with good sandwiches, salads and burgers. Pizza cooked in a pizza oven. Not too many patrons but service is spotty regardless. Tuna salad was tasty and ample n my sandwich. Chef salad was also very good. Other sandwiches - Ruben and Burger ordered by friends thought they were good. Recommend.

Great little pub in the heart of Sun City. I was born and raised an Iowa girl, so the Iowa State/Iowa decor always grabs my attention. Being one of the very few places to eat in Sun City, just expect the place to be busy as it was on our visit this week. However, even when the tables are full, they do turn fairly quickly but it's always fun to belly up to the bar or one of the long tables and meet some new friends! The food is what you'd expect from bar & grill food - nothing special, but consistently good. We have found that the pizzas are one of the best things on the menu and especially love the Wrigley's pizza. In fact, we have now had it two times in one week. Given the great location, solid service and food, it will continue to be one of our go-tos when in Sun City.

Really like their warm Italian sandwich on white. Waitress can be hit or miss. Usually do take out. Pizza pretty good too.

We were greeted warmly by Manager Alex. She's very professional and I always see her working, bussing tables, wiping down counters. etc. As usual, the cooked to order hamburgers were wonderful! I don't know what they do to the meat in the kitchen but this is the best burger I've had in recent memory. I like the branding on top of the bun too, that's a nice added touch. Onion rings and fries on point. The establishment is VERY clean, and there is live music on the weekends. There is a place to dance and a playground for the kids out back. Lots of beer on tap, some wine, too. Plenty of seating for large groups. Today when my friends and I arrived, we were informed by Alex that their food delivery truck is stuck in Temple due to the recent tornado, and the truck will be late with their meat shipment. Therefore, there were no onions rings or hamburger left (we got the last two patties). That was no problem for us at all but someone certainly got hurt over not getting their hamburger today as some people who came after us chose to not stay, since they, too, had their heart sent on a delicious meal. I see someone here left a negative review, angry because they didn't get their hamburger (First World Problems). It's not The Palomino's fault the tornado disrupted the supply chain! Give the Palomino a try, it's down by San Gabriel Park and if you go at dusk, you might see the bats as they fly out from under the Austin Ave Bridge

I opted for the pub burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had bacon on it and was served with a side of beer cheese. The burgers are good sized, half a pound I think, and they cook them to your specifications. I ordered mine medium and they nailed it. It was very tasty and I loved dipping mine in the side of beer cheese. Yum! I ordered onion rings on the side and they met my expectations. Tables are set up picnic style and you sit wherever you can find space. The night we went even had some live music- quite entertaining. This is an order at the counter type joint that also has a pretty decent beer selection. This is a good spot for burgers in Georgetown, TX.

Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

At the time this establishment was built, we lived nearby and were extremely excited to have an Irish option so close. We've been several times and enjoy ourselves a lot. I will warn anyone reading this far in, though, that this isn't the place to go for really authentic "Irish" food. It also isn't where I would go if I wanted a nice, full meal. Their menu is full of good appetizers that pair well with their brews, which is what they do really well. A couple years ago, we celebrated a milestone anniversary here, but this time we stepped it up a little: we got a little private table inside a barrel in their courtyard, and it was a very cozy and wonderful setting for our anniversary celebration. The very best thing about this establishment, however, is their service. My husband always plans ahead for our anniversary celebration, and has worked closely with the management of Cork and Barrel on more than one occasion to make our evening extra special. From flower delivery directly to our table, to a private location so we could visit uninterrupted, the staff has always been very accommodating and helpful in making his vision come to life. We will continue to be loyal patrons of Cork and Barrel. If you haven't tried them yet, you should.

Usually, I get the chicken and dumplings. I was celebrating getting a new job so, I got the ribeye. I ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, the cut wasn't good. It was thin and had thick gristle, throughout. I assumed that I would need salt. I asked for flakey salt. The sweet waitress/bartender, brought me kosher salt in a nice container. The salt helped! However, the steak was too far gone to help. It was closer to medium and, again, the cut was bad. (Note: I didn't complain! I'm sure that if I would have, they would have done anything to correct it!) The positives? The green beans were AMAZING! Still a bit crispy and tasted great! The mashed potato's were good.
