Is this meant to imply that we should be shopping online and Har Mar has just given up? If so, that's a bold marketing choice. If not, they might wish to reconsider and push the benefits of shopping in person ("real life") and maybe not draw any comparisons to (or conjure thoughts of) online shopping. Then again, I'm less bold and more silly than the average person. Or is that just meant to be a cashier? So many questions, so little time!

So why even enter the mall? Well, I was told by my Dr., if I want a walking mall in the winter this is the place to go and they were correct. I could walk the speed I wanted without fear of bumping anyone. Please note, the men's room has the door removed. All the remaining stores, and there aren't many, have no access from the mall, so you still have to drive around from one end to the other. The few big name stores seem to be doing fine. This place reminds me of another dead mall that hung on in Green Bay. Port Plaza was a downtown mall, built ugly as sin. If I didn't know better I would have thought it was federal prison in the heart of a nearly dead downtown. Anyway, in it's last gasp there was a Aunt Annie's Cookie store open and a kids play area. I bought what was a lukewarm coffee and dried Oatmeal Raisin and tried to talk to the severely depressed single employee. I think she said something like, "get me out of here". I said this should be closed soon, she responded sharply, "...I mean this city"! The eye store at Har Mar, Cub, Barnes & Nobel and a few others seem to be doing well. What could they do with the rest. Rebuild to a smaller service mall, lease the empty fronts to a flea market, a food shelf. Will I walk here again? Probably not there were some other walkers but some of the loiterers were sketchy and it's just too depressing to see this mall anymore.

Upon entering I was greeted by an employee who shared her name and asked what brought me in. After telling her, instead of showing me around, asking a million questions, or telling me everything about the store, she just referred me to areas I needed and allowed me to browse in peace. The space was spacious. I gather inventory changes, but when I went there were mostly couches. However, there were also tables, some patio items, rugs, chairs, storage (shelves, bookcases), and a few other items types. I didn't see a lot in terms of decor (throws, pillows, vases, etc). Unfortunately, none of the sofas were my style. Most of their items had a modern and retro look. And far bigger than my space could acommadate (sensibly). Although it's the outlet prices were still pretty high. I was looking for miid-level so even if I liked a sofa, at $3k plus it wouldn't have worked. Thankfully there were other furniture stores in the area so it's not like I traveled out there for nothing.

No matter what I picked up whether it was clearance near the cashier aisle Claire's any of their stuff it wouldn't take it for the $.52. We did have Kohls cash and some discount coupon and being the members of Kohls and we were informed that unless we use the Kohls credit card we cannot use the Kohl's cash nor use the discount and when informed that I am NOT carrying the Credit card, I was made to show my ID and enter my SSN number to pick 1 shirt! Seriously!! I have shopped in other Kohl's stores from so many years and never was asked my ID or had to enter my SSN number. This is just ridiculous with the experience and on top of it - the sales team member being so rude! Please take action on!

I love these cool Japanese import stores. The store was super organized and spaced out, I loved that. They have a few claw machines. There's an ATM and token machine right next to the claws. Prices were fairly reasonable. Hopefully they are able to maintain despite tariff talks. I love that the prices of items are visibly labeled. This store is located on the first floor of the mall right next to Dicks Sporting Goods.

Not shopping for myself as I was helping another look for shoes. A sloppy assortment of not to well made shoes and sandals. The problem is lack of a bench to try shoes on. Awkwardly standing in the aisle trying to get shoes on and beware of others trying to get through and do the same sampling. Shoe departments and even shoe stores could use a measuring device. Only Boomers and Xs probably remember those. I know the companies will say people only steal them. But they could be fastened to the floor or secured with a binder better. Yes, yes, this is discount you get whats there and no extras except exceptional lighting.
