We spent time browsing the mini grocery area, where they sell various interesting items such as honey comb and Turkish delight. My friend bought dried chamomile flowers in bulk to make tea. It was only a quarter the price of buying chamomile tea bags! In the building were some interesting art sculptures. I really like mixed use spaces like this.

I only saw a fraction of the box stores and food joints here. I enjoyed being here that I returned to the former store a day later. Barnes & Noble is one of the better ones that I have been to. There were lots of items on sale. While browsing, I got a free drink sample from the cafe. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Pier 1 is still there. Sadly, it will be closed soon. There is liquidation sale happening as I write this review. I also enjoyed visiting TJ Maxx. It has the largest selection of Kipling bags that I have ever seen. Prices are good on quality items. Lunds & Byerlys is the supermarket that anchors this plaza. It is huge! I will need to check it out down the road. There are eateries, too. Wild Buffalo Wings, Panda Express, and Panera Bread are some of the names that I saw while I was here. I have been told that Eagan Promenade had a water fountain in the summertime. I'd have to return when it's warmer to admire it. There is plenty of parking. I will definitely come back and check out more of it. (107)

The traffic flow isn't the greatest in the area but it is in a great central location in Chanhassen. Right off of Market Boulevard and right down the road from Target. You could park in the square and walk to several places! They could improve the area a bit. I believe there is some open space available to possibly bring in something new and draw in locals. With all the offerings in Market Square it does stay busy and overall a essential for Chanhassen.

I found the market to be a little overcrowded and while it has expanded, not something one needs more than an hour at. Some shop owners take cash only, but many take card. Some bargain, and others don't. I'd highly recommend stepping out of your comfort zone on a random Saturday and visiting Karmel Mall.

Pig and Fiddle and a ton of other restaurants, shops and cute little businesses and it's so convenient to get over to Uptown. Parking is not that bad, but I was there early. I can see where it would get congested and hard to park. Definitely going to make it a point to get over to this part of France Avenue more. Love this area!
