Showed up two hours before check in just to see if by chance a room was available, told they would call. So after 3 requests it was still one of the last rooms done? On top of it all the pool was closed, so the kids couldn't swim!

I complained about it because I was quoted $133. The nice lady on duty in the morning corrected my bill. And those prices had a AAA DISCOUNT. Geez that didn't help much for a lower price. They need to get more affordable motels there.

I dealt mostly with Donna, who was very accommodating and helpful in a stressful time when she seemed to be the only person working. She managed to keep breakfast stocked (a typical eggs and sausage affair) as well as manage the desk. My room was nice and left little room for complaint. On that note, the internet was very slow at times but overall that was not an issue.

But a note to management: In our mid-70's, we found the bathtub/shower to be quite dangerous: (1) Shower is in a bathtub with rounded edges at the floor and very slick bathtub bottom; (2) No grabrail in the bathtub/shower. The woman came into clean as they were leaving and my parents tried to inform her that the AC stopped in the middle of the night and were met with a grunty response. The woman working the front desk is not the nicest of ladies and could definitely benefit from being a bit more welcoming, but the hotel itself was fine, and also basically the only option nearby.
