The driver was a very nice guy. The lady in the office NOT SO MUCH! She denied towing a vehicle that they have towed in the past and wanted to charge me $275.00 per hour for the service. The guy left my truck in the middle of parking lot, where it was on the way for other cars. I ask him to put my truck inside one of the parking spot, but he didn't even tried and left. At 3:00 they call and say they scheduled more jobs and I'm last priority. 6:00 they say I need to be there in person. I'm nowhere near there like I explained when I called initially. Had a great experience with Crossroads. Used my AAA roadside which contacted them. The response time was amazing! First a phone call requesting details and location from a very nice and friendly woman. Wait was going to be 30-45 minutes but Joshua showed up in 20 minutes. He also did a great job. Had to take it to my elderly mom's house in French Camp from Manteca. Mom says he was great delivering the car, took the keys to her and called her by name. 10/14/2017 I went to Dribbles car wash, while going through the car wash, my tire popped. I barely made it out and to the left. Sorry, my fellow Mantecans. I called my AAA, they immediately took my information, got in touch with Crossroad Towing & sent them on the way. I had originally asked for a flatbed, because I had a bad experience with a wheel lift. I apologize, for lack of names. He ( dispatcher or owner ) convinced me his wheel lift driver would not make the same mistake. I felt at ease, and sure enough, his driver was prompt, courteous, and professional. On 1/13/2017, I requested a vehicle to be towed from Manteca to Dublin, via my AAA membership. I received a call, from their office, nearly immediately after disconnecting with AAA, confirming their tow trucks arrival time. The driver and his co-worker were polite, well mannered and took great care of my vehicle. Once they determined they had my car's battery, they came out much quicker than AAA originally quoted. Juan was my technician and he was professional, courteous, and offered fast and friendly service. My battery was changed for a price I'm very happy with. The drivers in the manteca area are incredibly rude. Accident happened right across from body shop that we instructed them to tow the vehicle to. They decided to attempt to tow it to their tow yard. They finally turned around and brought the truck back but refused to drop the truck with out payment in full. After attempting to pay them for their $240 fee for going 10 feet, they still refused to drop the truck. The driver was a complete jerk. He stared going through the belongings in the truck. Disgusting company. Had my only car stolen and it was towed by this place where they charged me for everything they can think of. Gate fee on MOTHERS DAY towing AND storage. I know this is "standard" but you'd think a community service would have some kind of empathy and at least waive some of the fees. Forcing me to give up my only car that was Already stolen once. Last week went out to start my car and had a dead battery. I called AAA Road Service for a jump. Crossroads was the company sent by AAA. They called me to confirm I needed a jump and not a battery and then said the driver would arrive in 45 minutes. Unlike the bay area where it can take over an hour at times to get road service, the driver arrived in 45 minutes. I wish could remember his name but he was extremely pleasant and helpful. He jumped my car but told me I might need a new battery. Well, I went out yesterday and a dead battery again. Called AAA again and they called Crossroads. A gentleman called and said they didn't have anyone available due to the reduced hours, and the earliest they could get someone out for a battery would be Monday. He said he would try to get AAA to send someone else. A few minutes later he called back again and said he would send someone out today to bring the battery. He also made sure they carried the battery I needed before committing. I appreciated that. The driver came out this morning at 9:30 and again was extremely courteous, thorough, and pleasant. I'm ready to roll and I am a very happy customer. read more

I've read a lot of the reviews. Some good and and some bad. All I can do is give you my interaction with this tow service. We were charging our Tesla over by Bass Pro. After completing the charge, the car would not change gears. It was in park and would not change to any other gear. This was around 2PM yesterday. My first call was to Tesla roadside assistance and he said it would need to be towed to the Tesla service department. Cost $415. (declined) My insurance hooked me up with a tow service. Not being covered by my insurance, the tow would be out of my pocket ($283). This was for towing the car to the Tesla dealership in Stockton. The time estimate was 90-120 minutes. 135 minutes later, still no tow. We decided to make our own calls and called Crossroads Towing. To our surprise, a live (friendly) person answered the phone. Having two calls from the Manteca PD, our wait time was about 90 more minutes. I can understand our call taking a back seat to the PD's calls. When the tow arrived, we put the car in tow mode and and pushed the car out of the stall to allow for a front end lift onto the flatbed. As the driver was hooking the straps to the front of the car, a man walked up after hooking his car to the charger. This man was a Tesla technician who just got off work and was charging his company car. Being curious of why the Tesla was being towed, he sat in the my vehicle and started punching buttons. After about 5 minutes of trying different buttons, he was able to put the car in gear. IT WAS FIXED! The same tow with Crossroads was going to be $215. To make a longer story shorter, after coming to my location and hooking up the car and ready to pull it onto the flatbed, the driver said "no charge". This blew me away. Everyone with Crossroads towing that we had contact with couldn't have been nicer. read more

Horrible! I called AAA to get a flat tire changed on my husband's truck. Crossroads dispatched a truck fairly quickly. When he got there he added air to the tire and told me that it was the heat that caused it go flat and that it would hold air long enough for me to go get it patched or sealed. I went in and grabbed my keys, let my husband know what I was doing and went back to the truck. I could hear the air leaving the tire. So I called back and requested that they send the truck back to change the tire as originally requested. The woman I spoke to told me that I had to put in another service call to AAA. I told her that it was not a second call as he did not do it right the first time. She put me on hold for a while- a long while and came back and told me she would send someone. An hour and a half later I called AAA to tell them what was going on and they put it in for a second call but noted that the first call was not completed. A few minutes later I got a call from Crossroads letting me know someone would be there soon. The second driver was great and changed the tire for me. However, this ended up being over a two hour experience because their office staff is not customer service focused. read more

I've been known to lock my keys inside the car a time or two. Luckily crossroads towing came to my rescue last night in Lathrop. I believe the gentleman who came out to assist me was Antonio. I am a mother of two little ones under the age of four and Antonio was very kind and compassionate during our interaction. He made sure we were safe while taking the time to open my car and look for my keys. He proceeded to ask if we were all right and genuinely cared about the service he provided to us. I was so happy that I asked if I could hug him because he was so kind and helpful.He wanted to make sure that crossroads responded in a timely matter and assisted with all of our needs. If I could give 0 stars I would. We drove from Turlock to pick up my brother in laws car from them. We were treated so rudely, the lady behind the glass was talking about us like we couldn't hear her, she was getting annoyed telling the man,maybe they were the owners, that she didn't care what we were told, she had no notes and we weren't getting the car out of there unless we paid for it. We never said we were not paying, we were trying to explain what the police had told us. Given the circumstances we were going thru, which we explained they had no heart. There was a young lady who sits on the right said who helped us towards the end and she was helpful and treated us with respect and compassion. I will never go here again and we were sure to tell our family and friends who live in Manteca how we were treated. I feel that as buisness owners you should be professional and helpful and not make your customers feel like they are a nuisance to you, we were already going thru our nightmare and going in there not knowing what had to be done was pretty stressful and they added to it, very annoyed with us and all they had to do was explain nicely. Driver of tow truck ran a redlight one evening and totaled my daughter in laws vehicle with the 3grandkids in it also. Driver admitted to dispatch that came out and to us that he was on the phone seeing where to drop off a car he was towing. They were real apologetic and couldn't do enough for them. Few days later not so much, withheld information for insurance, said that they were investigating it, failed to mention when they towed it to their establishment that it would be $75 a day! Ended up having to get a lawyer wouldn't even let her get personal belongings..so, I would say SHADY BUSINESS. Tried calling Crossroads Towing to report one of their drivers for reckless driving, but their phone number doesn't work so I'm questioning the company's validity. At 1:30PM on 6/6/18, one of their drivers almost hit my car three times because he was tailgating me, swerving behind me, and trying to pass me turning in an intersection on Byron Hwy and Grant Line Rd in Tracy. This is a huge representation of their professionalism, respect, and courtesy. AAA is one of my organizations clients, and I will be sure to alert them of this behavior. read more

I wish I could give them no stars! Got into a auto accident had to have them come pick up my car from my home as it wasn't safe to drive. They picked it up I notified them that the tow truck driver was lazy and damaged the front end of my car because he wanted to drive it up there 2016 Dodge Dart! I contacted and made a complaint and Jim the manager I guess was extremely rude and unprofessional and said that they weren't responsible for the damages as the body shop already repaired the front end. AAA contacted Crossroads Towing to assist me with a dead pickup truck battery at my home. Crossroads dispatch contacted me immediately and told me the service truck would be there in 15 minutes. The service tech Jason arrived in 15 minutes as promised and was extremely helpful. He determined the battery had less than 1 volt charge and needed replacement. He replaced the battery on the spot and patiently answered all my questions. He also put air in all my tires before he left. I highly recommend Jason and the dispatcher at Crossroads Towing. This has to be the worse group of people, after calling AAA for service several time for small issues, the people Crossroad sent didn't want to perform the service or sold me the wrong battery, didn't know diesels needed a higher cranking battery, they argued with me about that but I was in a hard spot so I took their battery so I could drive to a car store to buy the right battery. Made my battery cost $350! But, the last time they were here was the absolute worst experience and drove me to write this review...a bozo arrived and was frightening to begin with, let his monster truck running in my driveway, shaking my whole house and made it nearly impossible to talk to.. with the change of temperature, my tires needed air, I told AAA this but the guy would only put air in ONE tire. These tires are about a grand a piece, what good with air in one tire do... I took the car to the dealer and it took them 5 minutes to put air in all the tires...The Crossroads guy as grubby and nasty and told me they are NOT a tire shop....I find this outfit to be useless as a AAA representative...I hope I will never encounter these folks again/1 read more

I would've not even give them one star, but the minimum is one. The lady said, it would be about three to four hours and i would get a call before they come out. Four and half hours later no call. I called them and she said, she forgot about me because they got busy and won't be able to tow my vehicle today. She didn't even offer to tow it tomorrow. I wouldn't recommend using them. read more

Armando from Crossroads really helped me out the other day. My car would not start up so I had to call AAA and get it towed. AAA recommended I take my car to Monkeys here in Manteca. Armando showed up and took my car to that location. I followed. When we got there, Monkeys told me they do not service Nissans. AAA made a mistake. Armando helped me out by trying to see if any of his contacts were willing to take in my car. He was accommodating and patient during this whole process, and he even helped talk to the AAA representative to sort everything out. In the end, we took my car to a shop in Tracy that I usually go to. Armando was timely and efficient with the drop off. Overall, I was very pleased with the service Armando performed. This man deserves a raise! read more
