Took my car here for tire balancing about a month or so ago because my steering wheel was shaking when running on the freeway. At first I had the front wheels done first to see if that would take care of it. I paid and hopped on to the freeway to test them but seemed to be still the same so I went back and had the rear wheels done as well. That seemed to have improved a little bit but wasn't completely fixed but tolerable. I figured it could be something else causing the issue so I saved it to have it diagnosed further later. I paid $60 for the work done total ($30 on each pair) After driving for a few weeks the shaking on the steering wheel seemed to have become worse. So I took it to Firestone this time to get the balancing redone as well as alignment. And guess what? Yup, the issue is now gone when driving on the freeway. I've been to this shop quite a few times before and just feel that their work is just average. I came only because it's close to my home. But this will definitely be my last time as I paid for something was supposed to fix the problem but obviously didn't, not to mention money wasted. I somehow wonder if they did the work correctly, or even did the work at all even though I did see them took out the wheel from my car. SMH -_- read more

Best service! it was a Sunday I had a tire blow out on Saturday night don't live in Manteca. We drove back to Manteca on Sunday to have my car towed home. Went in today to get a tire they told me was available. I drive down, and the front desk worker brings out a tire with three nails in it. I asked him, "What's this? It has nails in it." His response: "No problem sir, we can patch it for you." Are you serious? I wouldn't take this tire for free. Then he goes on to say, "It's used. All our tires have nails in them." Do not go here with aftermarket wheels! Took Pictures of my wheels before they were touched and they damaged the wheels and did not want to accept guilt or attempt to get them fixed. Offered $150 back which is not even close enough to get them stripped, repaired and powder coated. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB. This happened to my brothers truck also. read more

I got a flat tire crossing the Altamonte on the pouring rain last Sunday night, probably by hitting a pot hole (because that's just my luck!). I made it home to Tracy and began the next day calling every and any tire/repair place I could find. All of them were unsubtle to help. Some due to not working with the make, MINI. Others because I needed a run flat tire. The only one I did speak to wanted almost three times the amount I payed today! I was losing faith until owner Aamir responded to my Yelp inquiry. He was courteous, informative and patient and very responsive! The tire was ordered, arrived on time, and for a decent price. I came in next day to the shop where the service was awesome and fast. This place is clean and nice. Was greeted right when I arrived. But they don't use a torque wrench. Big red flag. If you have a beater and don't care then it's fine. Too much, and they can damage the hub, warp, deform, or shear. Too little, and they can rattle loose. So, for every tire job, you must deliver a discrete, specific amount of torque to each nut--which means torque wrenches are indispensable equipment for every tire shop read more
