I reached out to this shop for an emergency alignment job. I had previously taken my car into a national, well-known franchise for regular maintenance. They informed me an alignment couldn't be completed by their shop. Unfortunately, after getting it back, my car was nearly impossible to steer, I would get thrown into other lanes and it felt like my car was going to slide right off the tires. It was dangerous to drive. Enter Manteca Tire & Wheel Outlet, after explaining what I needed I was told I could bring it in. They were open about not being able to do the job as well (I've owned the car for 10 years now, with several shops having difficulties aligning it--and no shop ever being able to get it to spec., even when the car was stock. It's a clear manufacturer defect.) And while it did take some time to complete, they were rather busy at the time, and still found time to accommodate me for this emergency. But they were very communicative during the entire process. They were even super apologetic they couldn't align it to spec., which I fully expected. Price was fairly good, much better than the previous shop, and they even gave me a break because it couldn't fully be aligned correctly. The car drives so much better now. Took my car here for tire balancing about a month or so ago because my steering wheel was shaking when running on the freeway. At first I had the front wheels done first to see if that would take care of it. I paid and hopped on to the freeway to test them but seemed to be still the same so I went back and had the rear wheels done as well. That seemed to have improved a little bit but wasn't completely fixed but tolerable. I figured it could be something else causing the issue so I saved it to have it diagnosed further later. I paid $60 for the work done total ($30 on each pair) After driving for a few weeks the shaking on the steering wheel seemed to have become worse. So I took it to Firestone this time to get the balancing redone as well as alignment. And guess what? Yup, the issue is now gone when driving on the freeway. I've been to this shop quite a few times before and just feel that their work is just average. I came only because it's close to my home. But this will definitely be my last time as I paid for something was supposed to fix the problem but obviously didn't, not to mention money wasted. I somehow wonder if they did the work correctly, or even did the work at all even though I did see them took out the wheel from my car. SMH -_- read more

Went in today to get a tire they told me was available. I drive down, and the front desk worker brings out a tire with three nails in it. I asked him, "What's this? It has nails in it." His response: "No problem sir, we can patch it for you." Are you serious? I wouldn't take this tire for free. Then he goes on to say, "It's used. All our tires have nails in them." That's an awful response to give a customer. This was my first time here, and it will definitely be my last. Yes, tires are cheaper but you get what you pay for I guess. Do not go here with aftermarket wheels! Took Pictures of my wheels before they were touched and they damaged the wheels and did not want to accept guilt or attempt to get them fixed. Offered $150 back which is not even close enough to get them stripped, repaired and powder coated. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB. This happened to my brothers truck also. read more

I got a flat tire crossing the Altamonte on the pouring rain last Sunday night, probably by hitting a pot hole (because that's just my luck!). I made it home to Tracy and began the next day calling every and any tire/repair place I could find. All of them were unsubtle to help. Some due to not working with the make, MINI. Others because I needed a run flat tire. The only one I did speak to wanted almost three times the amount I payed today! I was losing faith until owner Aamir responded to my Yelp inquiry. He was courteous, informative and patient and very responsive! The tire was ordered, arrived on time, and for a decent price. I came in next day to the shop where the service was awesome and fast.
