So I'm helping my parents clean up my late sister's room. The store was nice and clean, well organized but the buying experience was meh. They called me back 15 mins later and told me they past on everything because they only buy adult clothes. The funny thing was it was all adult clothes so I was confused. They said they took a look at silhouette through the bag. They didn't even open it. We had brand name clothes like Urban Outfitters, J Crew, Gap, Levi, Anthropologie, Nike, Dior, etc. I guess they saw Disney and Marvel assumed everything was kids clothes. I was prepared for like 80-90% to be rejected because that's the nature of these stores and I called in advance to make sure I was transparent since it's a lot of bags and they said it was fine. She was a shopaholic and big Disneyland fan and collector. So a lot of exclusive theme park, Tokyo Disney, Paris, Hawaii, etc. 70% still had tags on or in plastic wrap. More than 50 Disney lougefly bags many discontinued but many still had straps wrapped in the factory protector. Some of the bags we nestled in the clothes to protect them. We had 7 bags and listing everything was too much but I guess we will do that. read more

Unfortunately will be updating my review of this location. The buyers (Bri and Angelique) were taking an especially extra amount of time to price items. I waited over an hour and I was 3rd in line. Each had an IKEA size bag. It took 2 buyers to price one bag of clothes and they took 2 hours. Their slowness seemed almost purposeful. I'd recommend stationing them in a spot more suited to the work ethic. The entire business model is built on buying and trading. The selling counter is a key component, please respect your sellers time and product. read more

We were driving by saw this place and decided to stop by. There's a big parking lot across the street. This place was very busy so clothes comes in and out fast. This place is very organized and well stocked. Most if not all clothes are in really good condition. They had a lot of options. It is a little pricey but most things are in good condition. This review is specifically about selling. The store itself looks great--clean, organized, and well-presented. I understand that buyers are trained to focus on in-season items and specific brands, but I brought in gently used pieces including Levi's, Abercrombie (some still with tags), a like-new floral romper maxi, sweaters, jackets, Frye loafers, Birkenstocks, and more. In the end, they only selected a Steve Madden winter coat, a Marc Jacobs bag, barely worn Hoka sneakers, and a very inexpensive Uniqlo fleece, offering around $60 cash for everything. I ultimately only sold the coat and fleece and took the rest home, leaving with nearly all my items and being paid $18. I even mentioned to the buyer that I previously managed a similar buy/sell/trade store--not sure if that helped or hurt my chances. In the end, I get a much better return selling on Poshmark. I would come back to shop, but I will not be returning to sell. read more

Buyers were nice but I do not understand their policy on not buying fast fashion but then having brands like Zara under "brands we love." I brought in a bag full of vintage denim and they only took 3 and gave me $23 cash.They say the buyers are trained to buy but it's hard to believe when the racks are all filled with questionable items. I came here for the first time to try their exchange/sell program and left very disappointed. I waited over 30 minutes, told them it was my first time, and only after they went through my items did they explain they only take certain trendy labels (Zara, Lululemon, Dr. Martens, etc.). My clothes were almost brand new, in excellent condition, yet they rejected them. What makes it worse is that many of the items on their racks were in noticeably poor condition -- I saw Lululemon pants with barely any life left in them being sold, while my like-new pieces weren't accepted. It feels misleading not to be upfront about their buying policy until after wasting a customer's time. If you're considering bringing clothes here, be prepared that it's not really about quality -- it's about whether you have the "right" brand names. Definitely not the fair trade-in experience I expected. The only reason I'm giving 2 star is because the employee was nice overall. read more

I've been shopping at crossroads for about 15 years now and i have to say, this location by far is my favorite one. whether it's selling or buying, i always have a pleasant experience. they have an amazing selection and the best customer service hand down. there truly is something for everyone! read more

I would strongly recommend not going to this location and checking out the other crossroads in the area or simply dropping your things off at Goodwill because it will save you a trip. They're very specific about what exactly they want and despite having many branding items, they were not interested including things like lululemon. They will not pay you enough to pay for your parking outside on the street. I will not be back to shop or sell. The selection is full of weird random kooky items that you would never wear and basic traditional clothes that you would wear on a daily basis are rejected. You can find some gems in here, but selling to this company is a waste unless your clothes are trendy. I personally don't understand the selling guides either. The selling guides were asking for Ralph Lauren and it's winter time but this store wouldn't take my Ralph Lauren winter apparel. I was also told by a seller that clothing from Zara was hard to resell yet every 10 clothing items or so is Zara. I will likely never waste my time to sell here again, but, like I said, there are some gems if you look hard enough. read more

This is by far the worst crossroads in east LA. Who are they hiring as the buyers? I'm not shopping at crossroads so I can shop at a glorified thrift store... I live nearby so check often and the items are trash 90% of the time. I'm sorry- why are you charging $16+ for a Fashion Nova dress or Target brand? Where's the cool unique finds? It's sooo bad. My bf has luck in the men's section (sometimes) but I hardly ever check out. Only giving it two stars vs one because the staff is friendly and store is fairly organized / clean. Of all the crossroads in Los Angeles this is the only one I like, and it's mostly because the staff are kind and engaging. Crossroads has a melrose energy even the ones not on melrose. I find that this store in particular has a street wear, comfort, high visibility quality to it that I like. Always find a good value with the quality of items, but I stay coming back because the staff know their stuff and are helpful and useful. read more

Amazing friendly service here! First time coming to this location and I was here to sell clothes. I arrived about 20 minutes after they opened and there were 3 people in the queue. It didn't take long at all and all the workers are very efficient. I ended up selling everything I brought in (about 2 bags--it was my lucky day lol). While they sorted the pricing, I took a quick look around the store. Store is very clean and organized. Items are in very good condition and lots of rare finds! I come to Crossroads a lot to sell off the clothing I no longer wear and was excited to see that they were opening up a new location in Echo Park, upon arriving I noticed that parking is limited so that's something to keep in mind, I believe they only had 5 spots available in front of the store so if those are all taken you're going to have to look for street parking! I was greeted by a worker right when I walked in and when they saw that I had bags of clothing to sell they instructed me on where to go so I can get that set up, I took some time to look around the shop to see what they had for sale while they took a look at my clothing and was surprised to see a variety of items that are bound to fit anyone's taste, overall I would come back to this location based upon it's convenience of being in the neighborhood and them having a large men's selection with tons of different stuff. I enjoy going to these types of places when I want to go "thrifting" because it beats out the part of actually having to go through racks of random stuff because they have awesome workers picking stuff out for you. I know this comes with a more premium price so things can get a bit pricey but I always know I'm going to find a good deal no matter what. read more

All the clothes are obviously brand new fast fashion straight from the warehouse imo and they don't actually seem to buy anything. Just a front to get foot traffic. Snoooze fest. I just left this place and Jasmine one of the "buyers" looked at me with disgust as I gave my clothes to her at that point I knew it was going to be a problem. She didn't greet me to start or anything and looked at me extremely crazy. I told my friend who I was speaking with (on the phone) that I bet she's not going to pick any of my clothes. At the end Jasmine goes I'm gonna pass on everything mind you I had named brand items & things never worn. She definitely gave a look of oh I'm not going to take your items because you're black! So much good stuff at this place! The selection is amazing. Grabbed some great denims for good price. Be ready to browse the whole store if you want good stuff. It was my first time at a crossroads and I think I'm slightly addicted now I want to just visit all the locations to see what treasure is available. All the staff I encountered with were very friendly and they are constantly putting new stuff on the floor as people are selling their stuff so keep an eye on those fresh racks. The men who are buyers don't actually buy anything I hate it every-time I get a guy they only buy one or two things and the wait times are so horrible. I used to like coming here but the people here energy are off it's like they don't wanna work here it's another day for them but for me I travel two hours just to come here. They even don't even have a trash can to dump out drinks or food and the security is clueless, rude and does absolutely nothing not even greet or goodbye. Hospitality is lame. Also if you see no parking there it's because all the employees are parked there. They buy lame clothes from other people and will take your clothes and say it will be donated when you drop it off. I dread coming here. The worst part is you can spend hours here and they don't even have a restroom the biggest store so far but once again forgetting to comfort customers and consumers do better !!! read more
