Pros: They take a LOT more of my things than other spots in town. I usually come to this Crossroads first when I want to sell gently worn or new clothes! Cons: Pretty much everything else. The check in process is slow and frustrating, even with the pre-signup mobile app. Then after you're checked in it takes upwards of 45+ minutes for them to go through your things. Some of the staff are very efficient but it's rare to be out within an hour. Most of the people going through the clothes are very slow and seem to have no sense of urgency - at all. In contrast, Freestyle Clothing Exchange may not take as many items - but I'm usually in and out in under 30 minutes with the same amount of items as I bring to Crossroads. I'd recommend giving yourself at least two hours here when you do want to sell. Be sure to sign up before you get there on the mobile app and even then - it's likely you'd wait about 45 minutes at minimum still. Other cons include the new tiered pricing structure. The payout is 25% for most items now and it's just not worth the time and energy to come here. They only have one small bench in the back corner and you can't leave the store while you wait for check in or for them to sort your clothes. I'd love to see them give more flexibility with overnight drop offs or other options that ensure we don't wait as long. read more

We've been here multiple times, each time service is extremely slow. The clerks are not-interested in customer service...and often are busy chit chatting with each other while 'you' the customer wait until they're finished. Service can be curt and rude. This is an ongoing problem (read other reviews) that management isn't motivated to correct. I've just given up after this last visit and have decided just to go to FreeStyle. Service there is fast and friendly. Maybe I won't get as much money but better customer service is well WORTH IT! read more

ZERO stars! Came by to sell a few pairs of shorts (4). The girl said there were a few people ahead of me which was fine...I asked if I could drop them off and come back in the evening (since I have limited time) and she says you have to be present. Unprofessional attitudes and very poor overall experience. The staff behind the counter were consistently rude and dismissive during the selling process. The tone was condescending, and there was a noticeable lack of basic courtesy. When I was informed which items they were interested in purchasing (which I was fine with), the remaining items were openly criticized out loud in front of other customers. It came across as unnecessarily humiliating and completely unprofessional. The check-in and evaluation process itself felt degrading and showed little respect for sellers' time. What made it worse was witnessing staff speak down to a newer employee who was actually polite and helpful. Watching her be treated poorly by coworkers made the environment uncomfortable overall. As a shopper, the store was just as disappointing. I couldn't find a single item worth purchasing. Despite the staff acting as though their standards were extremely selective, the inventory felt dated and low quality, more reminiscent of a rundown thrift store than a curated resale shop. Between the staff behavior and the lack of appealing merchandise, this was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I won't be returning. read more

The service was excellent. The girls communicated the selling process very clearly and they went through the items I brought in, in a timely manner. I like that they have no limit on items you can bring in to sell. It makes the trip from over an hour away, worth it. They can be fairly picky when it comes to choosing items to buy. Things need to be pretty much brand new and super on trend. They pay a fair price for items purchased and they also sell things for a fair price. You get a much better deal when you turn in for trade. I do wish they had a better selection. Kind of a small inventory. I feel it would be better for them to have one large store rather than a couple of fairly small stores. Pay attention to location because what they may buy at one store, they won't necessarily buy in another. read more

I don't think I will ever sell to this store again. I brought in a brand new pair of Lululemon leggings with the tag still on, $88, as well as a Lululemon jacket in brand new condition valued at $128. They only offered me a total of $20 cash. I'm so disappointed. read more

Love, love, love this store. I'm a fan of thrifting overall and like to come to this location to score some nice items at a discount. Prices are higher than Goodwill and Freestyle clothing, but the selection and brands are definitely worth it to check out. Don't forget to check the half off section of the store. I managed to find an authentic vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress for half off the price tag here, which ended up being about $21. I've also found Maeve and other great brands. It's definitely a hit or miss, but a must if you love thrifting and the possibility of curating your wardrobe so you're not wearing what everyone else is. read more

If I could give this place Negative 5 Stars I would! I recently lost 50 lbs. and need to part with about half my wardrobe. After 3 trips donating to the Goodwill I'm now down to my nice stuff that's too good to give away. I brought in 2 trash bags full of name brand/designer clothing, most items in like-new condition, and 3 jackets, 2 leather and 1 suede in great condition. All she wanted to buy was my suede Isaac Mizrahi jacket, and she offered me $8 cash or $12 in trade for it! A designer suede jacket in great condition?! I mean I think I wore it twice. I had a Tommy Hilfiger hoodie that I forgot that I even bought like new and they informed me we don't take that item and then I have a flannel and they informed me they don't take that item very insulting. Pretty sure if I had really expensive items. I wouldn't take them there just to get a few bucks Really disappointed with how picky this location has gotten with their buying system. They used to be a lot more generous not anymore. This location has different staff. They used to be super friendly not anymore. I feel like I wasted my time and gas coming here today. Really disappointed without outcome of this place. Only thing is they sell a lot of namebrand purses for half the price of a regular retail store so I guess that's the only good thing they have but that's not gonna improve my review today. So I brought in what was leftover of my clothes after freestyles- honestly, still cute clothes. Steve Madden shoes, BDG jeans, etc. anyway they decided to not take anything which is fine except... I had my boyfriend help me pick up the box of clothes and the woman who had gone through the clothes was saying "I hate when people bring in garbage clothing". How rude, first of all. I went in there the other day and everyone was super friendly and I found everything I needed/wanted in less time than I anticipated. I walked with a pretty hefty bag of name brand clothes some with the tags still on for less than $100. Yeah they might not want to buy your old dingy forever twenty one fits but the stuff they do buy is great quality. If you want thrift store prices, go to a thrift store not a consignment shop. Service is almost non-existent. The iPad you use to sign in to sell clothing is glitchy, and I waited an hour and no one got texts that the buyer was ready. I went into the store, and although there were only 2 sellers waiting, only one person was buying and she was being pulled back and forth from buying to the register. When I asked her if she was the buyer, she gave me a dirty look and said "yeah." As one point the "manager" was called to help up front, but she only addressed the iPad issue, and then went in back again, even though they were short staffed. Might I add, this was not during "lunch times" it was at 3 pm. Finally, the clothing selection in the store leaves much to be desired as well as the high prices. I have purchased many items from Crossroads. Most of the clothing I have purchased have become my favorites in my wardrobe. I have purchased name brand brand tops, sweaters and pants. I bought a gorgeous Lululemon hooded 1/4 zip sweatshirt and a Michael Kors leather jacket. The prices are very consumer friendly and they have a large selection. I came in today to sell my clothes. I check in and the girl tells me I can put my stuff on the shelf. I put my stuff on the shelf and walk to TjMaxx. I get the text to come back and it was another girl. She said next time don't put your stuff on the shelf because we aren't responsible for your things. I told her that I was told to put it on there and her response was well we thought you were shopping in store. You didn't ask if I was staying or leaving. I used to sell here YEARS ago and they let me leave my stuff with them. The girls here need a reality check. It's a used clothing store, y'all need to chill. They all act like snobs. I browsed through their racks. Used shorts for $20+. Go next door and buy some new shorts for less. This place is a joke and a rip off. They gave me $12 for 2 or 3 of my shorts. The clothing they have in this store is amazing! I have sold and bought clothing and I am very impressed with the variety and overall quality merchandise they purchase. Most things are new to barely worn and the displays are so beautifully done. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this store! Thrift stores and buying and selling clothing is best for our planet. I try to do my part by never buying clothing from big department stores only consignment or thrift stores. Prices are on point for the quality clothing brands that are available. Only thing I would recommend is that they have more disabled parking and better curb access by the store. read more

Oh boy, called a good bit ahead before leaving out. Told the person over the phone that I was looking to sell on credit or otherwise a pair of retro 1993 First Jordan's VIII's BBR crib shoes. They said, sure, come on down. Get there there's one person ahead with maybe six bags of clothes. I walk over to the other employee and start asking how to go about selling X item I have right now. (Even said AGAIN crib shoes, First Jordan's) They asked me to sign in and wait, alright, only one item. But, I understand. I wait a bit over a half hour, get to the front, pull the shoes out and the buyer/pricing agent says; "We don't buy children's clothes." You what . . . There's ten plus computers in the store, not counting your phone you were playing on, that can lookup what your customer is talking about over the phone if you have no clue what the item is. Then they try sending me to another thrift shop, get this I called them, they don't buy them at all! Absolute circus, if you're not knowledgeable in a specific area do the minimum and research what your customer is discussing with you. Saves time in the long run, and saves face. Came in today 02/19/2023 at around 12:00 PM to check out some clothing, then I went to try on a pair of jeans I found. I took my place in line, and while I was discussing a dress I saw one the wall with my friend, a guy sales associate with long black hair, a plaid shirt, and a mask, mumbled rudely "room?!" I was taken back by the interaction , said yes, and thank you and went into my stale to try on the pants. He slammed the door behind me! I couldn't believe it. I left the stale and said thank you, it didn't work out, and he snatched the pants from my hand. Honestly, if you hate your job that much, I would consider applying elsewhere. So just chill out dude, drink a 7-Up, eat a moon pie, try not kill anybody. I haven't been here for a while, but I remember it use to be great. I came to drop off clothes with my sister and my mom. Jacob was working and he was completely disrespectful to my mom, my younger sister and to me while asking questions, he didn't acknowledge us and when he did he wouldn't look our way. I am not sure why this was the case being we had just stepped foot into the store. He is not nice nor is he friendly or respectful.
