Today my wife took our 3 daughters to Buckle ages 14, 11, and 8. She was shopping for the 11 year old and the 14 year old was able to do her own thing. One of the employees went out of their way and shopped with my 8 year old as my wife didn't want her to spend her birthday money on her 100th squishy and wanted her to get some needed shorts. The employee made my 8 year olds day, making her feel special and like a big girl. Thank you for the extra time you put into your customer service today. So I want to start this review by saying that buckle has such fun and adorable clothing (some are overpriced, but definitely cute nonetheless) and I'm not the trendiest of fashionistas. I tend to buy high quality clothing that lasts for a long time and wear them til they don't work properly anymore. I haven't purchased a new pair of jeans in YEARS and had no idea what size I would be nor what style would fit my curvy figure (I usually have a gaping waist where you can see down my pants while the thighs and bum are overly tight). I've also previously had mixed experiences on the customer service. Some have been rude and judgmental where I was even followed around the store! But this time was an exceptional experience thanks to Tavia. She was so kind and understanding when I told her I was in over my head and had no idea what I needed. She gave me two sizes to start and literally eyeballed the right size on the first try! Then she took my preferences into consideration as she checked the inventory and patiently helped me find a pair that fit better than any jeans I've ever owned. Thank you Tavia! Don't order from this store! Ordered products around the holidays, they sent me an email that it was ready for pick up and when I arrived they said it was there but they couldn't look for it. After asking around, sounds like that is their normal customer service. Telling customers their items available when it's not so they can travel to the store multiple times. She was so patient and brought me so many different styles to try til we found the perfect pair! Terrible costumer service, absolutely awful. Came back after purchasing a belt because the loop was missing. I asked for a replacement and this girl with dark brown hair who I don't remember her name, basically told me she shouldn't have sold me the belt but didn't offer any kind of replacement. Even though there was another belt that was the exact same as the one I bought, just a diffrent size and it had the missing piece I needed. And I asked if she could just take it off of that size belt and give it to me give it to me since she sold me a belt with a missing piece. She said she couldn't do that because then she wouldn't be able to sell the other size belt when she literally sold me a belt that had a missing piece, she just continued to argue with me about it didn't offer any kind of compensation or refund. There could have been an easy compromise but instead of helping a costumer who already bought a faulty product she chose not to do the right thing and be greedy. read more

Was helped by the sweetest girls yesterday, Ashlee, and Suzy! The service in the store was impeccable! We were on the mission to find a pair of boots for one of our friends who is going to Country in the Park later this week, she was looking at a few different pairs, the asst. manager (suzy) helped us find a couple of pairs from the back of the store that she might have liked. Unfortunately we didn't get anything, she was looking for a certain two pairs, but they didn't have them in stock, so we thought about looking elsewhere. The customer service in this store was great! Suzy employed a very friendly vibe in the store, I can assume if the assistant manager and her staff is that great, the store manager must be pretty great as well. A few years ago I would say the customer service and employees were really great now the customer service is very poor and I am actually very shocked at how some of the employees dress there are some mature women that work in there wearing almost crop tops and all their stuff handing out. they do not represent the Buckle at all if I'm going to shop in there I would expect the employees to dress nice and not dumpy or look like they just crawled out of bed. How can you help others pick out an outfit or dress them when you can't even dress yourself. I don't live close to a mall, I drive 45 minutes to go shopping. I'm a mom of 3 small kids & my body changes w/every pregnancy. So I have found that the nickel not only has jeans in every shape, size & style but they are willing to help you find what you want. Last week I went to the mall w/4 kids aging from 9-1 year & you know how fun that is, not!!! All I needed was jeans. I walked in, told the girl my size & what I liked. I've been a loyal Buckle customer for many years and actually worked there for 2 years so I like to think I'm pretty familiar with their products and policies. I recently went to exchange a pair of pants that were defective and the inner thigh blew out. Before even looking at the purchase date, Monica, rudely told me "We can't return these." I asked her why not and she said these can't be resold and also because their policy says it has to be returned within 60 days. I would of understood if she first located the purchase and then proceeded to handle the situation from there but the lack of customer service isn't something I'm used to from a store that prides themselves in going the extra mile. Its nice to feel like family, espeically when they greet you every time, not to mention, all of them have these infectious personalities! YOU should meet them, you too, will feel the "love". What a pleasant surprise! I didn't know Buckle even existed. I was at the mall just hoping to find a few shirts that didn't look like everything else and that's exactly what I found. What I didn't expect was above and beyond customer service. I have Pretty much resigned to the fact that good customer service does not exist any longer but at Buckle it does for sure. Not sure of the guys name that helped but he went out of his way to help me from start to finish. He searched through every rack that I was looking at for my size and when he couldn't find it he told me he could easily order it for me and have it shipped. He was pleasant and super helpful. After I was done with getting what I came for we went to check out. Lilly up front was equally as nice, friendly and helpful. She took all my info quickly and got the remaining items ordered. Went in tonight to help my mom find some new stuff. There were so many employees but no customers inside yet no one said hi to us or asked if we needed help. I overheard multiple unprofessional conversations including why a certain coworker of theirs was still on the schedule. (I guess that's an issue for them). All they did was gossip the entire time we were there. No one said one word to us. We walked out after not finding much and passing the front display window my mom fell in love with an Ariat hat. So we walked back in and grabbed the hat of the mannequin and headed to the desk to pay. Apparently two of the girls who work there were pissed that we took the hat of the mannequin. 1. That's the only one there was. 2. Even if they had one in the back to grab (so it didn't have to come off the mannequin) we didn't feel comfortable asking any of them because of the way they ignored us. 3. So what? Put another hat on the mannequin. We wanted that one. The conversation they had between them regarding the hat was not quiet. They confirmed it came from the mannequin, then the girl whispered something before they both laughed and one said "I don't care I'll say it louder!" Which...she didn't need to, I heard. When we got to the register the guy had his back turned because he was having a conversation with a coworker. Had no idea we were standing there wanting to check out. It's like no one inside there works. They just gossip the whole shift. We do like their clothes but I don't ever want to go back inside now. It's like we were bothering them. I went into this location today to look for my favorite brand of jeans that buckle has. They're called flying monkey. I found a few pairs but wanted to see if there was more. Nobody greeted me. I had to ask several times for a fitting room. I was also shopping for some outfits for Vegas this weekend and I needed help picking stuff out. I worked for The Buckle for about a year right after I graduated college. If you are looking for a good pair of jeans, that actually fits right, and will last you for several years, go here. However, as with anything, you pay for what you get. This is definitely not an inexpensive store. The lowest price I have ever seen on jeans at a Buckle is about 50 dollars. Ranging up to 180 dollars. The downside to shopping here--expect to get a little hassled. Teammates here work on commission and it is pretty obvious. However, people need to realize that this is mostly due to the extreme pressure from the management for meeting sales goals. If you don't make sales, you get taken off the schedule. So keep that in mind when you feel someone is "bothering" you while you shop. Intentions are usually good. I wouldn't recommend working at the Roseville or Sacramento Buckle. The management is pretty crazy intense (annoying). It's definitely not a laid back job of any sort. read more

So while shopping in Roseville, I stopped in to Buckle. Now, I absolutely love Buckle and like to frequent other Buckle stores. I had been to this one before and never had an issue. Yesterday wasn't busy when I arrived. No one, and I mean No One acknowledged me as I entered. Then as I'm browsing around the store, employees passing me and talking to each other, I'm still being ignored. I found a shirt I liked and strung it over my shoulder while looking more. Still no acknowledgment. Walking around being completely invisible, I decided that they were not warranted of my business. I went shopping elsewhere. Again, it wasn't that busy in there. Hi my name is Nate and I was in buckle today and I spent over $300 I thought it was kind of absurd how the customer service was coming up and taking the clothes out of my hands and placing it on the counter like I was some kind of thief that was going to make a run for it and take off with their clothes LOL not. Anyways I'm going to keep this plan and straight to the point I paid for everything that I had picked out and left the store with everything that they had bagged up that I had purchased was not in the bad I did not find out intel I got home and I live in Auburn about 30 minutes from Roseville and my cologne that I had purchased was not in my bag. So I called the store and asked to speak with a manager and the manager was not available. I asked how come someone didn't call me back out of customer service after two hours of me leaving the store and I was the one to reach out to them. Anyways I asked why can't they reimbursed me for my time my gas and my headache and the guy said we don't give things away and I said well my gas is not free and neither is my time. LOL they are rude and way overpriced and the customer service is horrible don't go and spend your money there because what you purchased will not be bagged up if I were you go online and spend your money you will save 15 to 20% on each purchase and that's quite a bit for how much everything is there at that store. read more

I love their Jeans because they look good on me and I'm 6' tall. It's hard to find jeans that fit well and last a long time after multiple washings. Lied to me! So it seems to be consistent that all retail businesses have employees flat out lie to the customer. I shop at buckle frequently and have been for many years and am a buckle card holder. I went in and Cheryl helped me find some jeans. I ended up having her order me a pair and was promised they would arrive here in 2-3 days since they were coming from the Arden store. The ONLY reason I ordered them was since she said that as I needed the jeans by a certain day. I then checked 4 days later and was told they did not ship from Arden store and were not going to arrive until next week.. so I was lied to for a sale..
