Lavender Buttons and a Long Island
    Darniece L.

Overall great vibe! The atmosphere is perfect for a grown and sexy date night. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have crab cakes or hummus when I went. Also be advised, the service was a little slow for food and drinks, but once we got our order, I had a smile back on my face. If you like "girlie" drinks I recommend Lavender Buttons and Tyrone's Sangria . Also the Long Island was nice and strong.

This is the spot at the Memphis has been missing and it may be a little to progressive for the city. The upstairs is open to the public with full bar and kitchen. However the downstairs is reserved for members only. Membership includes live entertainment, a cigar room, members only events with complementary cocktails, and a free cigar per month. As a member, they also validate your parking and give you a metal membership card adding a level of prestige. Management is great and the food is great. There is a dress code that includes college shirts or jackets and appropriate wear for women.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this downtown establishment. Came here before a grizzlies game during the week for a cocktail and food and was surprised to see it wasn't more busy. It's very well lit in the bar area but the high booths still give you a sense of privacy. I had the French Cuff and my friend had the champagne cocktail, both on their Bespoke Originals menu. Both were light and refreshing. It was nice to see a cocktail menu of items other than martinis. We ordered the Wagyu Sliders which were perfectly cooked and the truffle fries. Both were very good. We will definitely be coming back to try their new seasonal items!

We had the bone marrow--delicious with an herb crust and the seafood flight appetizer, all excellent but the bbq shrimp was intoxicating! Exactly what bbq shrimp should be with a rich sauce, maybe with cognac added? Not sure, but I'm going on a treasure hunt for a recipe! The bubbles flight was fun--great start! Salad flight was a crisp palate refresher for the next two flights of red meat and fish! We loved the lobster ravioli and the Boursin filet, but the lobster Benedict will be in our dreams! The dessert flight was good with the crème Brûlée--avoid the peach cobbler since peaches are not yet in season! The lighting is perfect! Love how I could see the menu and my husband and still feel romantic! This restaurant would be competitive in NYC, so certainly a jewel in Memphis!

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional--our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to walk us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. The lobster bisque was a standout--rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely memorable. Every detail of the experience felt intentional and well-executed. What truly elevated the visit was the professionalism of the management team, who were present, polished, and clearly committed to delivering a high-level guest experience. Overall, an outstanding meal backed by top-tier service. Highly recommended. Restrooms are very clean and the decor is high end all the way

Bring a sweater or ask for one of the side rooms where the icy chill won't kill those rib fighting knucks lol. We had to move into the far back Delta Map room and it was much comfier. Brisket Combo $27 comes atop bread, it was very soft in texture, oily, vs my preferred slab of smoked beef with grainy texture intact. The crispy burnt ends were delish tho accompanied by a rack with about 1/3? less ribs. Ribs $27.50 Lg order became more meaty as I made way to small end and leftovers tasted even better next day. Dry rub is excellent black pepper, onion garlic, baked beans tangy n bit sweet, while the BBQ sauce, Hot and Regular in squeeze bottles, along with a mustard yellow coleslaw in deep plastic solos, were more vinegar forward than I recall. It definitely gave me a pucker and took me to almost end of first sitting to acclimate to that level of tang. By the next day, you are almost craving it lol so it's a building up your sour puss or maybe that it tames and mellows out somewhat next day haha. Mesquite smoke permeates the air and the ribs and that's a good thing, yum! Traffic IPA 12oz draft, a local Crosstown Brewing West Coast paired well, crisp, hoppy, light head, citrus pine & mango notes, Award winning wow just $4.75?!! Mid Coast CA Parker Station is a $10-14 Pinot Noir. Good $10 pour, easy to sip, just ok 3/5 fruity vanilla spice and deep thick color akin to a merlot in taste and body. A bottled GF beer was tasty and v pleasing to our guest. Family reunion dinner for hubby, his brother, niece, & great nephews. Everyone left full and fulfilled in their nostalgia filled bites down Rendezvous lane. Robert Jr gave us excellent service, patient as our guests arrived very late and happy to take pictures, a welcome about face from a previous salty, no nonsense server ;D

A very old school entrance down an alley, then down the stairs. Walls and ceiling filled with all manner of bric a brac. Service was a bit slow and perfunctory. There's not much reason to entice people to return since so many are visitors. We ordered the small ribs and a brisket plate. Both were heavily seasoned. The ribs were a little dry but made better with the table BBQ sauce which was nothing memorable. We did enjoy the small tarts, both the buttermilk chess and pecan were delicious.
