We use Dallas' Place chicken fingers for our church events. Can't beat em! Everybody loves their chicken fingers.

The asparagus was cooked to perfection, with that crisp first bite and seasoned to perfection! The onion rings were superb and the baked beans... they were the best I have ever tasted! The New York Cheesecake with the blueberry sauce and peanut butter pie were the absolute best I have ever tasted!! I give Bama Bucks a 10/10 for the food! The presentation of the food was breathtakingly beautiful! The service was a little slow seating (Valentine's Day so that's expected) but so well worth the wait! Tables set nicely with a single rose at every table! Very well decorated inside and out! Even though they were slam packed our waitress was very attentive to our table, made sure we had everything we needed and was not overbearing but so kind and courteous! Best date night I've had with my husband in a good while! We plan to go back soon to try more of their exotic food experiences soon! If you have never eaten here it's A+, 10/10, an absolute perfect experience!

We had to get condiments ourselves, we're not checked on until we were completely finished. They got one of our orders wrong and not even an apology, I'm thankful they took care of it check-wise (sort of) but it just wasn't great. Oh, wait, cheese curds was the best part of our meal. The only people who are worth mentioning that were welcoming was the hostess and the person in the gift shop when we purchased our entry to see the animals. Overall, I wouldn't rave about my experience here.

The food here is exceptional. I was able to enjoy the breakfast brunch sampler which included ham and cheese quiche, a tomato pie, and a strawberry crêpe with fresh fruit. I appreciated the selection of quality teas, locally made dessert options also a plus. Not sure why yelpers have been so up appreciate this locally owned business. So I do hope that you guys will read through some these reviews with an open mind. We waited, probably about 20 minutes to be seated, which isn't too bad, especially without reservations and as another yelper mentioned wait times. The prices were very reasonable compared to some of the mass chain restaurants you find or even other spots outside of Mentone. The only critique I have would be for our server savanah. She kind of rushed us a little bit with bringing us a check before we were quite finished. I chalk it up to her being young and maybe not as experienced, but she was very friendly.

It's sort of like a fast food restaurant in you order the food at the front counter. However, they do bring it to you. I ordered the Urban Cowboy Sandwich with the Hot Cheddar Pasta. My girlfriend got the Veggie Quesadilla with Shrimp. She had the orange roll as a side. We both had fountain drinks. The atmosphere is kind of generic but there were plenty of seats and mostly country music playing. My Urban Cowboy sandwich was a steak strip sandwich with some peppers and a tangy orange sauce. It was really tender, with no fat, and served on a toasted roll. The Hot Cheddar Pasta is a variation on Mac and Cheese but so much better. It looked like ziti-style noodles with lots of cheddar cheese. Both were excellent choices and I highly recommend. My girlfriend liked her Veggie Quesadilla with shrimp too but had to take half of it to go. The front counter folks did provide a takeout box. It is a little pricey compared to fast food restaurants but the quality is very good and worth it. The price for both our meals with drinks was around $40. I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't have more business but perhaps it's fairly new. I highly recommend and would go again when I am in the area. It has a nice atmosphere and the food is well prepared and fresh.

Cleveland is a small town that would be easy for many to miss, but a trip to the area for this restaurant alone is worth it. It seems a fairly popular spot for lunch and also boasts a small local collection of art, the profits of which go to support a local addiction recovery group. Very kind. The restaurant is clearly owned and operated by Christian folks as evidenced by the decorations, but the churchy feeling is very welcoming and not at all proselytizing. Likewise, the service was effusively kind and helpful. They were happy to chat and answer questions about the menu. They greeted each customer with a smile on their face and made appropriate small-talk with regulars. An older gentleman who was clearly hard of hearing was treated with heaps of patience and kindness; he seemed a regular and they said goodbye to him and reassured him they'd be waiting for him when he visited again the following week. It was so sweet and did my heart good. :) The menu has a lot of fancy sandwiches, a few entree salads, and a few entrees like smoked chicken and loaded baked potatoes. Sides are sort of upscale bbq/southern restaurant (grits, greens, potato salad, beans, etc). The prices are appropriate for the portion size and very high quality of the food. I ordered their "Ranch Burger" sans red onion and tomato while both of my parents got the patty melt. I tried their macaroni and cheese for a side; both 'rents got the baked potato salad. Our food was cooked fresh so it took a few minutes to come out; it was more than worth the wait. I will go ahead and get out of the way that the only not gold-star-worthy item was the macaroni and cheese. It wasn't bad, but it seemed like it had been reheated and it was just sort of gloopy and a little oily. I'd get my parents' baked potato salad over that next time; it had fresh-cooked crumbled bacon bits on it and was so smoky and cool. Holy MOLY the sandwiches, yall. The patties were hand-formed on both, steaming hot and cooked perfectly. Nice balance of fattiness too. My burger was an awesome symphony of flavor: slightly sweet, soft pretzel bun, melted sharp cheddar, creamy ranch, and this amazing sweet-and-salty bacon jam that perfectly tied the whole thing together. The copious amount of ranch made it a little hard to eat, but paper towels were readily available and I smashed that dang burger. As delicious as it was, my parents' patty melts may have been even better. Same great burger, add delightfully crispy, thick-cut bacon and this absolutely fabulous cheese dip...WOW. Hard to describe how incredible both sandwiches were, so with that in mind: go TRY THEM yourself. Thanks so much for one of the best meals I've had in a good while!
