Crow Point is like a neighborhood pizza joint with a little Greek influence thrown in. Personal favorites: the greek salad and the buffalo chicken calzone. Living on the south shore, I understand that I can't have Regina's every time I'm hankering for some pizza. So, over the last few years I've been looking more locally for good pie. This weekend I gave Crow Point a shot. Word-of-mouth had been favorable. We order the basics: one large sausage and one large cheese. I have to say I was generally disappointed. The pizza did not meet my expectations. It's was slightly overlooked - like some thing that had been under a heat lap at a gas station - and, on the whole, not very dynamic with regards to flavor. The good news: when you buy 2 large pizzas you get a free Greek salad. In the end, seems like you won't be hungry after Crow Point Pizzeria but I need just a bit more than that. read more

Just moved to Cohasset and order from Crow Point for the second time last night. The first time I had a chicken sub. Soo tasty and BIG! Last night we did a meal deal with a GREAT pizza. I am a bit of a pizza snob and this is some very good basic greek pizza. We just moved up the street from Charlestown and are happy to have a good "goto" for takeout. Easily the worst waiting experience for food I've had. I went in to the shop around noon on November 1st and placed an order for a Large Chicken Teriyaki with only cheese. I understand that a sub shop can be busy and hectic around that time but I watched numerous people come in after me and place detailed orders and receive it before me. I was asked 3 times what I ordered and I told them 3 times "chicken teriyaki with only cheese" finally after all this time they hand me a sub and say that they gave mine to someone else and asked if teriyaki stir fry is ok? Furious and impatient at this point I just took the sub and left. Seems like great food but I won't ever go back there if you paid for my food. Waste of my time. read more

We have eaten at Crowe Point many times in the past and been happy with their service . After ordering a steak and cheese calzone tonight, and getting three pieces of bone in the first two slices of calzone, we were extremely disappointed. When I called Crowe Point I was told to return it. We returned the calzone along with the three pieces of bone and had the owner argue with us that it was not bone! He showed no interest whatsoever if the bone pieces had hurt us, as a matter of fact continued arguing with us that it was not bone. I said that we were lucky that we didn't get hurt by swallowing it and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away! This is the last time we will ever go to Crowe Point! read more

The best bufflo chicken calzone on the entire south shore, hands down. The Pasta is also great. The subs though might get a little soggy if you do not pick them up right on time. The only downside to the whole place is that they do not deliver. It has a great location too, right beside a small grocery store, so you can order your food then sneak over to get cheep drinks then come back. read more

There was a point when I respected their hard work. Their food was nearly perfect. How ever this time around wasn't too good of an experience. The food I ordered was ok. I called in to inform them about it, and instead of getting an apology, I got a very rude and unexpected response from the owner who wouldn't tell me his name. I was hung up on after he yelled at me asking why I was complaining about the food. I'm sorry to say, but no matter what the case, the employee or even the owner should be patient and say sorry, let me make it up to you. Didn't get any of that. Pretty good spot in general. From its name you may only think that they only have pizza. They have that, subs, dinner dishes etc. a couple things that I would recommend the buffalo chicken calzone with bleu cheese. For a dinner plate I would recommend the steak tips. This has been my go to spot for years. Called ahead to place an order. Just a pizza and a salad was told it would be 20-25 mins. 30 mins later I stopped in and paid. The lady at the front said its almost done just waiting for one thing. 15 mins later still no food. When we asked the status of the order they said the pizza is coming out of the oven now... Another 15 mins goes by as they had not even put the pizza in the oven yet... Waited over a hour for our food. When asked for a manager I was brushed off. Will never return. My son would eat here literally every single day. As for myself I've only eaten their pizza and for the most part I thought it was ok compared to the other local places. So like clockwork my son had ordered a small pizza and some fries or something. He ate a slice, and then another and was coming back for a third, well when he picked up the third slice underneath it, in the box was a dead, cooked cockroach!!!!!!! I was mortified to say the least, and my son, well he was sickened beyond belief. I told him to call the manager and tell them what he found. And this wasn't to get the 6 bucks back, or a free small pizza, he didn't care about that, he ate there everyday!!!! It was to let them know how disappointed we were and the fact that this was disgusting but to my surprise the manager was rude, insisted that this cooked roach did not come from their establishment and never even bothered to apologize!!!!!! Crow Point Pizzeria absolutely stands out from any other local pizzeria or sub shop you have visited or will EVER visit. Their food is exceptionally good. Nothing you ever eat will compare to the buffalo chicken finger calzone. Anything buffalo chicken finger actually. They're not your regular chicken fingers dipped in buffalo sauce which is the norm for such establishments. The buffalo flavor is embedded in the batter! Also their pasta dishes are great. You get a huge thing of garlic bread with melted cheese on it, and the amount of food they give you lasts for about 2 more meals! read more

Beware- their red pizza sauce is sweet and they use sweet sausage. I had a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, hamburg, mushrooms and peppers and it was not salty at all. It had sweet overtones. What happened to this place, this was my go to place for subs on the way home from work? I got a steak bomb for the hubby and a steak and cheese for my son. The filling barely filled the roll and the meat was completely overcooked as well as sooo much gristle. It will be a while before I decide to give them a try again.
