I will start by saying that I drove 12.5 hours from Detroit to here, pretty much just for this Pizza. This is the best pizza in Scituate, Marshfield, Hanover, Cohasset, Hull. Pretty much everywhere else pails in comparison to this place. The people who work here are so nice, I have literally never had a bad experience at this place. It's pretty small inside, but it feels like a pizza place, cozy, nostalgic, comforting. You walk in and you know that anything you order is gonna be incredible. I ordered a pizza and a mozzarella sticks. It took an hr and 45 minutes to get to me. The order was cold and incorrect. I ended up with a salad I didn't order. They took it back. Hope it didn't get delivered to someone else lol. It ended up taking another 45 minutes after that to get to us, and it was still not warm. They're 4 minutes from my house. I couldn't go pick it up because I was injured. This was the worst food I've ever eaten. Usually they have ok food. Lately it's been pretty bad. I'm so disappointed. read more

The first time I ever ordered here, I got the best calzone ever. The last few times I've ordered here, the calzones have been thin, hardly any meat or cheese in them. Very disappointing. I ordered potato skins the other night, and they were disgusting. They were loaded with this squeeze Velveeta-type fake cheese that absolutely drowned the potato skins. Every time I call to order, the person on the other end always takes a long time and many times they have got my order wrong. I always try to support local businesses and I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after trying this place two more times after I've been disappointed, never again. Was a bit disappointed.. Buffalo wings were soggy and breaded. Buffalo sauce was good. Got order of pasta with meatballs and sausage. Pasta overcooked but i realize that is not easy with take out. My wife and I love this place. We order online delivery from here all the time. The food is so good - the pizza, the hot subs, the apps, everything. We've ordered a ton of times since we moved to Scituate about a year and a half ago and we've never been disappointed with Milano's. Obviously during the busier times to order - weekend nights - the wait time is longer and more than okay and understandable. The delivery drivers are always friendly. Just wanted to let you know that we ordered for the first time, having heard great things about your pizza. I called in our order at 6:20, told it would be ready in 45 minutes. We arrived 55 minutes later, NO PIZZA. We then waited for 30 plus minutes for our pizza. Finally getting it at 7:50. I've had nothing but good experiences with this place so far. Chicken broccoli Alfredo is the best I've had from a pizza place. The pizza version is outstanding. I'm hot and cold on the buffalo chicken. They use clearly fresh tenders which is appreciated and the sauce is pretty spicy, but sometimes the tenders have been a bit over fried and can be a little dry. The flavor is there though. The buffalo chicken sub/wrap is great, the chicken stir fry wrap is great. I love that you can add the fries to the wrap for just a few extra bucks (they give you a ton). The pizza crust is phenomenal here as well. Different from the other places around here. It's like.... if you took papa ginos crust and gave it a serious upgrade. All the pizza I've had here is excellent. Just wanted to give this place a shout out especially after a few failed joints flew through the same space. I hope Milano's sticks around! read more

Ok...it's not hard to soon figure out when it comes to takeout Scituate is not exactly exploding with options...the husband was looking forward to trying this place..the first couple of times food was pretty ok but service needed obv tweaks. Anyone who has ever worked in a new restaurant of ANY kind knows it takes a bit to find your footing...you don't just hit the ground running moving on...pizza great..wing dings..big hit..French fries..good..salad good and actually reasonable.. Only suggestion...nix the liquid nacho cheese topping on potato skins and don't fill jalapeño poppers with what tastes like melted cheez whiz.. Other than that..good job! But less than 40minutes later we had 2 hot subs, drinks and dessert. I placed the order at prime dinner time, and on a Friday night. We will definitely order again. read more

This must be the cheapest rent on the whole South Shore. Unfortunately, it will go the way of the prior tenants. I get overly excited about new food offerings in Scituate since current locations are either crammed into really odd spots or the service/food is substandard. This place is no different. I've ordered from here twice. The first time I picked up my order and when I arrived they hadn't started making it yet. There were two guys there, one was making food while the other was supposed to be the cashier. The cashier was in the back for approximately 7 minutes before he came out, asked what I had ordered, discussed said order with food maker guy, and then told me it'd be an additional 15 minutes. By this time a line had formed behind me, and those customers were greeted with the same dysfunction. I chalked it up to opening up a new shop and was OK with the wait. When I brought the food home, it was another disappointment. The pizza was burned and the fries sucked. That was enough for me until last night. We had friends over and we ordered out. I warned them not to do it, but they hadn't tried it and I was overruled (in my own home)! The experience was very much the same. Told our food would be delivered in 1 hour, it arrived at 2 hours and 15 minutes, after a few calls to check on progress. Nobody took responsibility and during our final call I asked to speak with someone about the service and Logan said he wouldn't/couldn't make anyone available. I was told 20 minutes. The salad took little over 30. Not a big deal. No one was wearing masks. Not even the little kids there watching Netflix. Little bit bigger of a deal. Took the salad to the beach where I realized that they forgot the dressing. Couldn't eat it dry. Again not a huge deal but all three together and this place gets one star. read more

We have ordered a few times in the last few weeks as we needed quick meals due to a family member being hospitalized and there was no time for cooking. Everything we ordered was amazing, between the pasta dinners, the salads, pizza and subs! The pasta dinners are very generous in size and we are not big eaters, but, they make great leftovers for another meal or two. The steak and cheese is the best we (three of us split a small one evening) have ever had. Such a hit, it was on the next order we placed. The fact that this place is still open is a disgrace. Not once have I had any sort of decent service from this place, no one knows how to work their point of sale and the only decent employee got fired on the job while trying to deliver our food in a timely fashion. Food is fine for a pizzeria but the place is disgusting, they aren't true to their hours, service takes forever and the rudeness and overall lack of respect for their customers has caused me to blacklist this establishment completely. Very unfortunate considering I and a plethora of friends live almost within walking distance and would give them plenty of service if they didn't screw up so early on. I was very excited about a new pizza place in scituate in such a convenient location. However this pizza place has been a major disappointment. The first time I ordered I waited for three times the quoted amount. I let it slide thinking they were still figuring it out. This happened three more times. The third time they only had put in half my order and said if I wanted the full one it would be an additional hour and a half. I was not the only customer with this issue. The restaurant was full of people waiting for an hour plus. The single cook was asking people waiting what they ordered... they clearly had no organization or communication. The service of this business is absolutely unacceptable. In fact I created this yelp page in order to warn people of this issue. I had all of my children's hungry friends waiting at my house as I waited in the burning hot restaurant on multiple occasions. If the food wasn't going to be completed in the quoted time frame I would rather they just quoted longer instead of having me wait there. read more
