The staff is very friendly, & they make our visits enjoyable. But this review is more for Dr. Prezioso specifically because he saved my husband's life during a routine dental cleaning. Let me premise this that my husband does not enjoy being in the dentist chair - he's a wuss! During his last cleaning, Dr. Prezioso noticed that my husband's nasal cavity was large & asked him if he snores a lot. He suggested my husband make an appointment with an ENT to get it checked out. My husband saw his general practitioner first who ran some tests & diagnosed him with atrial fibrillation! Since then, my husband has been seen by a cardiologist, has been put on medications to restore his normal heart rhythm, & has had an electrical cardioversion. Had Dr. Prezioso not noticed my husband's nasal cavity during the routine cleaning or had he not even mentioned it, I don't know if we would have found out about the AFib before even more damage had been done. We can't thank Dr. Prezioso & his staff enough!

I was a patient of Dr. Prezioso for several years before moving out of the area in late 2010. I…read morehadn't visited the dentist for a number of years before going to Dr. Prezioso in 2006 on a friend's recommendation. Past dentists were intimidating and never seemed to treat me well. Dr. Prezioso and his staff changed that for me and allowed me to catch up on some long overdue work. I had several procdures done by Dr. Prezioso, and he and his staff performed the work professionally and with good results. His staff and the hygienists are very friendly and deal very well with the insurance. The dentist was always very upfront and would give you an honest opinion. No pushing you into doing something, and he had no problem referring to a specialist if a recommended procedure wasn't something that was in his expertise. The only fault is that they do tend to run a bit behind and slow in this office, but never extraordinarily late or slow. I referred my wife to this dentist and she had also had good experience, as well. I would recommend Dr. Prezioso for anybody!

Pulling teeth out nothing caring how its replaced. Stop jamming that dirty little office with tons of people and maybe you can do better work. You are clearly not to concerned with your image.

Didn't record my pocket health even after I inquired. The hygienist continued against my protest and inquiries. They told me "Everything was good" after my x-rays. I told them it was not. I was gaslit for weeks about tooth pain and migraines. They told me to see my PCP who referred me *back* to my dental provider. I returned because my face was swelling, and I knew whatever was wrong wasn't right. They told me to floss and use an electric toothbrush. No x-rays. No emergency exam. No option to yank my tooth. Nothing. Just go home and floss. Ok. I called *again* because things worsened. The receptionist told me to see a TMJ specialist that my insurance would cover. They declined to refer me to this specialist and continued to repeat "call your provider to see who is in network". No sense of urgency. No option. No way to see the dentist so that he could refer me. They told me to wait four months until he *would* see me again. And then they said they were booked out five months. So, which was it? They claimed that I couldn't pay out of pocket, but the truth is that Chapel Street (and other facilities) discriminates towards those of us with Husky Insurance. No way that any ethical practitioner would see my x-rays and send me on my way without a treatment plan. I'm not a trained professional and I knew something wasn't right. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go to them. If you're in pain, go to a reputable place and ask for a payment plan. You'll regret letting them near your mouth.

I'm never too cold or too hot. The staff is friendly and welcoming! The atmosphere makes you forget you are at a dentist office! Scheduling appointments is super easy and the reminders are helpful. Dr Kern is the best dentist I have ever had! I have never felt any pain and she always explains things in terms that any patient could understand. She always asks how I am doing and remembers updates from 6 months prior. Elizabeth is the best hygienist! It's the little things like remembering the water setting that are most comfortable during my cleanings. 10/10 would recommend!

The hygienists are for sure kind and attentive. Drs spend 2 -5 minutes with patients. Last visit was super shady. First, I filled out the paperwork with medical information - totally appropriate for 6 month visit. None of my information has changed. AND THEN I was told I was required to complete an identical medical survey for a private company to access medical records that sold products for sleep apnea. I was told patients could leave the office without completing it by the front desk- totally unethical- there should have a been a disclosure form available around transparency and consent. As a medical provider, I was disgusted by their ruse and will not be returning. The overall care is adequate, but administrative practices are suspect.
