The couple that owns and runs this store are wonderful. They do the work in-house so you can get a quick turn around. One of a few in the area that can. We had a dress and suit dry cleaned and picked up in the morning. They even removed the stain from my wife's dress. Will definitely use them again. read more

Great value and amazing customer service. Their same day dry cleaning is so fast and convenient. They really helped me out in a bind.

Several issues with this business. First, every time I have ever walked thru the door the owner is SCREAMING his head off at the woman that works there. He's abusive. Second, they cleaned my high-waisted pants for my wedding, expensive Elie Tahari tuxedo pants with three buttons at the top. When I opened the pants 30 minutes before I was due to leave for our ceremony I found them in terrible shape. The top button was gone and the loop for the second button was ripped. When confronted with the pants after the wedding their initial reaction was yes, they would repair the pants but I would have to pay to have them cleaned. I refused to pay the cleaning fee and they relented. GET LOST! Never again. read more

Odd, I just googled this cleaners to check their hours (I have a suit to pick up) and I'm surprised to see these reviews). I've used this cleaners several times over the past few years and haven't had any trouble. I've had several suits, shirts, and coats cleaned as well as a bridesmaid dress pressed after alterations -- all without issue. Maybe there was a previous owner? We brought my Dad's WWII Army Air Force hat to Five Star for cleaning. The insignia was tarnished, and the rest of the hat was covered in mold and mildew. Bob, the owner, had the hat for about 10 days so he could take his time cleaning the leather and wool separately. He did a FANTASTIC job. The hat was returned to us looking great! Then he did NOT charge us for the cleaning - he said this is his way of repaying those who have served our country! Thank you. read more

I have not had great experiences with dry cleaners in the area. I keep getting garments back with stains from the cleaners they use, or discolorations. I took a suit and tie to this dry cleaner. They removed stains on both garments without leaving any residue or discoloration. The prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. read more

I am new to the area. I picked this cleaning service as they were cheaper than the cleaners on Balltown Road (across from the ShopRite Plasma). I just picked up a knee length casual silk dress I had cleaned here. It appeared fine when I picked it up; however, I didn't really inspect it. I put it on this morning and wore it to work. When I got to work, I noticed that thtere were two large patches of white residue on the dress. It must all the dry-cleaning solvent was not washed from the dress. I have tried calling the business to ask for a refund; however, they did not answer the phone. I will try calling again. I am very disappointed. read more

Very nice folks to deal with ... My dad passed away and I took my 2 suits there to have cleaned for the funeral and the owner said he was SO sorry to hear of my loss .. he did my suits within 24 hours and when I went back to pick them up he told me there was NO charge .... I was blown away ... How nice it is to know there are people still in this world who care more about there customer then money .
