Elevator was a classic with push buttons that I haven't seen in an elevator in years. The hallway to our hotel room was nice and clean The room had two double beds and was clean. They even had an easy clean TV remote for the TV set. Slim LCD TV, Telemax Hotel phone system and the bathroom clean. Wifi is a bit of a challenge. You always have to log in if you are not using the internet after so many hours. The restaurant at the end of the hallway in the hotel was a bit pricey. More on that in my next review. I like the Best Western Chain and this location hasn't let me down. The hotel is much more cheery than when you drive downtown on a cold winters dreary day in Trail.

He instantly earned my trust, and made the entire time we were there enjoyable by providing suggestions to what was around for a family of weary travelers. The location itself looks a little old and dated on the outside, which made me second guess the help I received over the phone from Aaron, but I knew he had my back, and when I walked in I instantly felt that the stay was going to be alright. The host Greg was very friendly and personable. Even one day I stayed back in the B&B since I was not feeling well, Greg was very kind and offered to stop by the store to get me anything that I may have needed. The location was great and the home itself is very warm and inviting. Every morning we had quite the choices for breakfast, which was nice since I'm kind of a picky eater. And what better way to end your stay but to have a soak in the outdoor hot tub. Overall I highly recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to escape the commercialized chain of hotels and enjoy the true meaning of a home away from home.

There's an outdoor and indoor pool which is a plus depending on the season. There's plenty of parking. Location-wise, it's fairly close to a mall with a Tim Burtons, and a short drive to downtown Trail. It's a very good place to stay for those traveling through or visiting the area. Although its along a busy road, I could barely hear any traffic inside the room.

My friend and I were going to stay here for a night in August 2017. We got there late at about 9 or…read more10pm, put our stuff on our beds and then started getting ready for the night. I was about to put my stuff in the "locker" under the bed when I noticed how filthy it was. Then I took a step back and noticed how poorly cleaned the rest of the room was too. I then noticed that there were weird white marks on all the cracks and crevasses of the bed frames. That was a huge red flag. Having worked at a hotel, I know where they spray for bed bugs. So, I checked the foot of the bed and right there was a live BEDBUG. I cannot describe the panic my friend and I went through. Instantly gathering up our things and piling it on the plastic chair in the room. I went downstairs to tell the man at the front desk that we had found bed bugs and he just sent us to another room. The first bed I checked in that room had a dead beg bug right there on the bed frame (the obviously hadn't done a thorough cleaning in a while). So we asked for a refund, garbage bags for our stuff, and we got the hell out of there and stayed at a motel a couple blocks over. Hopefully they've cleaned up their act since.

This is a great wedding venue with owners and managers above all others. The facilities are well…read moremaintained and kept up but the old fashioned feel is very much alive. The facility and grounds are picturesque with wildlife visiting morning and night and occasionally throughout the day. I cannot say enough about the owners and manager. Please be sure to leave the venue better than you found it by returning their kindness and cleaning up after your event, they work so hard to make it a very special experience.
