I came in with my girlfriend to sell a few gold rings we had. We were greeted by Justine who asked us to take a seat and proceeded to help us out. She tested our items and explained how the process went. I've personally been to other gold buying companies before and by far this is the best place. When going to other shops they didn't explain the process at all. They just give you a price and expected you to sell. At Crown we were told why they couldn't make an offer on items that weren't passing as gold. I had two pieces that had a 14k stamping, but wasn't passing the acid test. She told us it was either plated or had no gold "property". We definitely learned a lot coming here, and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. This place goes above a beyond for you, and the payout is the icing on the cake. They also buy broken items which we had no idea about. Her knowledge of precious minerals, professionalism and expediency in conducting the transaction was incredible. I have been to this establishment 7 times in the past month. I have been helped by three people. The first two were great Sara and Justine. The third one is nice enough but dose not seem to care. She has given me things back saying they are not real and that anyone could put a stamp on them. I went from walking out of the shop with $150-$400 to lucky if I got $10. I have even forgot to take items out of the stuff that was going to be sold she had said no to only to have her buy them this time. I had over 8oz of silver and a little gold and was told none of it was real except one or two things. Went to pawn shop and they bought ALL of it and walked out with over $200. Came in with some gold jewelry with gem stones and diamonds. We weren't sure what was real and today Justine helped us out. She tested the gold and our stones and gave us a great value for our stuff. She was even nice enough to give us back our gem stones that weren't real. We thought all of them were diamonds, but only a couple were worth anything. This place makes you feel very comfortable letting go of your stuff and tested everything right in front of us. I am closer to the Redlands location so I figure I would give the Redlands location a try. I sincerely like the office feel. Its a one on one with an employee with a security door.
