I read google reviews on this business, & decided to visit Redlands. I learned they are a family owned business. The warmth they show & intellect wisdom of jewelry is impressive. I have been a dedicated customer to our LA jewelers for over 3 decades but decided to make a visit to this local store. George was very accommodating to my many questions & willing to spend almost 2 hours dedicating different ideas to what I like. He was very patient & willing to give suggestions with honesty. I did not intend to make a purchase but inquire. His son was very kind to a phone call & seemed genuine when talking to the customers. They worked with others walk-ins while I decided on my final choice. George & his son then took more time to customize the ring for me. A price was given & seemed very fair. He mentioned years ago, he was located a block from my jeweler, so I was confident he has been in the business for along time. He & my husband chatted about Turkish coffee too! Absolutely terrible experience. I brought in my watch to sell, and instead of dealing with someone knowledgeable, I was immediately told it was "fake" by staff who clearly had no idea what they were talking about. What makes it worse is that I later took the same watch to Time To Repair where it was inspected and confirmed to be 100% genuine. So either this place lacks basic watch knowledge or they intentionally lowball customers by falsely claiming authentic watches are fake. If you're dealing with luxury watches, you'd expect professionalism and expertise not careless assumptions from people who can't properly authenticate a timepiece.
