They even have a camera at the entrance so they can come out to your vehicle and greet you/ guide you to your spot when you arrive. Swimming pool for the kids, catch and release pond, restrooms, laundry, foosball table, reading room with a library of books and even a nature trail! if you are passing anywhere near West Plains, MO this is the best place to stay.

This is a very pleasant park centrally situated to the downtown area, Mammoth Spring State Park,…read moreand the Spring River. The park's staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom and shower facility was private and quite functional. We almost passed this place up because a review that I read elsewhere said it was only for small RV's and tent campers. While it is a small park, it is able to handle larger RV's. Even though it has 30 and 50 amp service, the 50 amp service sites were already taken. A lot of people come to this area to fish and do float trips down the Spring River, which is fed primarily from the 9+ million gallons a day coming from Mammoth Spring, where there is a very nice State Park.

We reserved a pull through because we are towing a vehicle on a trailer the clean out is at the very beginning of the pull in we had to use every extension to get tot he clean out hat we had. The site was really not level at all so then it would drain to the clean out because it was up hill and very far away. It was a process to clean out the hose and get all of the water out we had to lift the pipe 4' off the ground to get it to drain doing this caused the hose to come apart and got all over myself. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. They need to move this to the center of the pull throughs.

They are putting in a lot of effort to improve the park. The family that runs it is very nice and helpful. It's located right across from the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. We walked over one afternoon and took the tour of her home and walked through the museum. Neat place. The RV park is very grassy with gravel. Our site was pretty level and had lots of shade. Not all sites have full hookups so be sure to ask when you reserve. Some are just W/E. There is a creek that runs along the property that is cool and beautiful. Fun to splash in. Lots of trees on the property. There is also a small pond, a natural cave to explore, and plenty of areas to walk your dog if needed. A bathhouse next to the office has two restrooms, two showers, and laundry. We used the showers twice. They were small, but clean. The bathhouse is not air conditioned or heated so summer showers can be a bit hot and muggy and I imagine winter showers quite chilly. THE WIFI IS AWESOME! I could not believe such a small RV park had such great wifi. Thank you, Riddick family! The small town of Mansfield is just down the road. We enjoyed the local icecream shop as well as the pizza and pasta restaraunt. Overall, this is a great RV park. We will definitely stay again if we're ever in the area again.
