Pretty nice restaurant in a kinda middle of nowhere place. Situated atop a bluff, the place offers a nice view and grounds to roam before or after your meal. Bed and breakfast also on the property. We stopped by on a family outing and just happened to find the place without looking. They have specials daily and steak is their specialty. They offer a full bar and have a friendly staff there to serve you. I do recommend a stop by on a night when you're wanting some a little more.

Located within Biggers B&B, the atmosphere is kind of like a hospital cafeteria. Don't expect anything fancy or a piano playing- not that kind of steakhouse. Lots of variety on the menu but I would stick with the steaks (I'm a little weary of ordering seafood or crab cakes in a restaurant in Hardy, AR...just saying). The filets were cooked perfectly & you can choose from a number of sides. Service was good & although the key lime pie may not look that great in the photo, it was. Definitely homemade. The restaurant is within Biggers B&B but it's opened to the public. This means, while you're waiting to be seated for dinner, you may have to deal w/people checking in to their rooms. But everyone was extremely friendly.

Hubby n I went to the Bluff last evening for my birthday dinner. We had been there once before and had an excellent dinner. We both had the loaded potato soup. It was very good. Perfect little chunks of potatoes, bacon, and green onion in a savory, buttery/cheesy broth. Hubby had the Mahi Mahi with a baked sweet potato. MM was fresh, sweet, and moist---just perfect. Potato was also perfectly cooked. I had planned on a fillet--my favorite. However, prime rib was on special, and that sounded really good. I like my beef medium well, so I asked for an end cut. Since it appeared we were the first customers there, I assumed I would get first dibs. However, when it arrived, it was a middle cut, which had been finished off on a grill or in a pan. It was done, but it was tough! I should have stuck with the fillet.

Excellent service, beautiful view and yummy ribeye! I had the ribeye special and kiddos had cheeseburgers. I wish we had room for sweets afterward but I literally ate everything it was so good!

When I called the owner Chris, he was very attentive to our situation and even knew a great mechanic in the area he thought could help us with our German SUV (not easy to find!). We stayed multiple days as we had to wait for a water pump, and Chris even offered us his side by side to get around town and the mechanic was as advertised. Chris even picked us up from the shop after we dropped the car and found a friend to do the same upon pickup of the car. We were thankful for our extra nights in Mt View where we sat on the old timey porch with other guests and Chris gave us a history lesson on Folk Music and even played the Dulcimer for us. All in all, this was the best thing that could have happened to us after finding ourselves stranded at a Wal-Mart just as we were about to drive 1,000 miles home. And of course the breakfast was amazing, and the room/decor just as perfect. Coming from the grim hustle of the east coast, we were left with the overwhelming feeling that there still are good people in the world, and we're appreciative to have made a new friend.

I spent the day hyping up this restaurant, to my visiting relatives expecting the same great meal…read morewe had a year ago, only to be completely let down and have the rumors I refused to believe be confirmed. From the moment we arrived, our waitress seemed in no hurry and was forgetful to say the least. It took multiple requests just to get a kids' menu, and our drinks sat empty for nearly 30+minutes. She never cleared our table of bread, salad, or soup plates, so we ended up stacking them on the concrete wall beside us as we finished each course--simply because we couldn't stand the clutter anymore. About 10 minutes before the main course was served, she returned to tell me they had run out of filets and asked what I'd like instead. I switched to a ribeye. Our food finally arrived around 8:30, even though we were seated at 6:45--an hour and forty-five minutes later. During that time, I spoke with Leroy, the owner, more than I did with our waitress the entire evening. To top it off, she added an automatic 20% gratuity for our table of seven--four adults and three children. We're generous tippers, but jt was blatantly obvious she was coasting through the night knowing the tip was guaranteed. When the ribeye finally arrived, it was one of the toughest cuts I've ever been served--full of tendons and gristle, and certainly not worth the $40+ price tag. Honestly, I could have picked up a pack of two better ribeyes at Walmart for the price I paid for the one I didn't even eat tonight. When I mentioned my disappointment with the steak, she seemed unfazed. The only redeeming parts of the evening were the view, a cup of soup, and the vanilla crème brûlée. I made an effort to express my disappointment before leaving with zero effort on her part to engage in a solution. So I tried calling on the way home to speak with someone--no answer. So here we are..... our entire table left disappointed! It was especially embarrassing after I'd talked the place up so much--only to end the night with a $320 bill and a thoroughly underwhelming experience.
