After calling all over the state of WI and norther IL, Victorian Bridal offered me the best price and quickest shipping for my bridal gown. They even offered a discount on my veil as part of a promotion. When my dress arrived a few months later, I went to my first appointment at VB for a fitting. The building is very unassuming, but trust me when I say this is a store of true professionals. I had my dress altered at VB, and subsequently came back three more times (driving all the way from Chicago where I live). Their staff is courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. In the end, my bridal gown fit me perfectly after their expert alterations! I highly recommend VB if you live anywhere in the Central WI area. Even if you don't it's worth the trip!

After graduating college, I slowly invested in Burberry suits. They are still good but style is out dated. But I can't justify $900 plus suits any more when I wear suits 8-10 times a year now. So I was in the market to update and walked into Men's Wearhouse. No particular reason, I just didn't want to spend too much money. They had their 2 for 1 sale, but in terms of quality and comparison to my Burberry suits, is it really 2 for 1? I don't know how these will stand-up to the wear and tear but we will see. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted and helped by Don Sanborn. I was happy to find a somewhat large inventory and styles and colors to choose from and typically (I am a 36 short) it is difficult to find a variety of suits in my size right off the rack. I was able to find several that actually needed only some alteration and fit what I was looking for in terms of style and color. Don was professional, listened to my needs and to what I was looking for. I really appreciated that. That is probably why I was able to walk in, select suits and get fitted and walked out in about an hour. The alterations were a bit pricey especially when it was to hem the pants length and sleeves only. Which upped the price almost $100. This alteration also took almost 2 weeks to do. I came back in to pick the suits up and tried the suits on again and noticed the pants just didn't fit right and one pant length was shorter than the other. So now, another week before I get the final product. Overall, I felt the customer experience was good. I am just not sold on the quality of the suits (material) and based on the price of $700 for that one suit, even though it was 2 for 1, really? That suit is almost as much as my Burberry which has stood the test of time... lets just say long long time. I don't think these suits are worth $700 each, and if used a lot, will not stand the test of time. So am I really getting 2 for 1? I doubt it. It is most likely a marketing play. Are they worth $350 each? Perhaps. And perhaps you get what you pay for.... I'll update my review as time passes and how it goes after I finally pick up my suits.

Why carry so many styles if you can't carry the sizes that they offer?!…read more I was at uniform advantage yesterday and they have better organization and more sizes including more than one petite (small through xl at least) for each style. Scrub shopping can be so frustrating, but it's even worse when you don't have size small through 2x and only one petite/tall in one size for that style? I'm not going to buy scrubs that I can't try on when I've made a special trip to a store. This is why I tend to buy online!
