After graduating college, I slowly invested in Burberry suits. They are still good but style is out dated. But I can't justify $900 plus suits any more when I wear suits 8-10 times a year now. So I was in the market to update and walked into Men's Wearhouse. No particular reason, I just didn't want to spend too much money. They had their 2 for 1 sale, but in terms of quality and comparison to my Burberry suits, is it really 2 for 1? I don't know how these will stand-up to the wear and tear but we will see. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted and helped by Don Sanborn. I was happy to find a somewhat large inventory and styles and colors to choose from and typically (I am a 36 short) it is difficult to find a variety of suits in my size right off the rack. I was able to find several that actually needed only some alteration and fit what I was looking for in terms of style and color. Don was professional, listened to my needs and to what I was looking for. I really appreciated that. That is probably why I was able to walk in, select suits and get fitted and walked out in about an hour. The alterations were a bit pricey especially when it was to hem the pants length and sleeves only. Which upped the price almost $100. This alteration also took almost 2 weeks to do. I came back in to pick the suits up and tried the suits on again and noticed the pants just didn't fit right and one pant length was shorter than the other. So now, another week before I get the final product. Overall, I felt the customer experience was good. I am just not sold on the quality of the suits (material) and based on the price of $700 for that one suit, even though it was 2 for 1, really? That suit is almost as much as my Burberry which has stood the test of time... lets just say long long time. I don't think these suits are worth $700 each, and if used a lot, will not stand the test of time. So am I really getting 2 for 1? I doubt it. It is most likely a marketing play. Are they worth $350 each? Perhaps. And perhaps you get what you pay for.... I'll update my review as time passes and how it goes after I finally pick up my suits. read more

I arrived at 10am, they had just opened and already had multiple customers. the associate in charge delegated perfectly, people kept coming in and calling and he was able to politely explain the wait and systematically walk everyone thru the fitting process swiftly and with a great attitude. sharply dressed and professional you have a winner with this guy. definitely would recommend this location. read more

I dont like visiting this store because I dont feel like they have their act together. They dont have enough staff to handle the volume of people. Today the place was chaos. We're always waiting for a staff person to help us. They could be more organized or hire more people. Some lady took our items to the register, looked up our order and said things were not linked and she was going to fire someone. Like it was a joke. Went in to get a suit tailored that was not purchased at Mens wearhouse I was immediately turned down as per "their policy". One would figure that a Men's clothing store would tailor any suit regardless of where it was bought. I will gladly take my business to a place that actually wants it. read more

Ok, I ordered a tux ($250) for a wedding out of town. The major problem was the shoes, so damned uncomfortable! Definitely get an arch support liner if you order these shoes. Or, better yet, rent out shoes that are comfortable! Just awful! read more

Of the 8 suits ordered for my sisters wedding, 5 had significant problems. Like the soles of both of the Grooms shoes falling completely off within 2 minutes of putting them on as we are walking out to door to the wedding, a few of us with broken cuff links before we even opened the bag, wrong color and material vests, fake ties, multiple sizing problems after all of us had been previously fitted for a suit, and dirty suits made of terrible quality materials. Seriously go anywhere else to rent a suit or go buy one and avoid the stress of getting things fixed or replaced. read more

Due to a series of avoidable events, I arrived at our hotel for a wedding without my suit, and with just about an hour to fix this or skip the wedding. I checked, and there was a Men's Wearhouse about 8 minutes away. I zipped over, explained what had happened to Tyler, and was immediately whisked into fitting for new pants, and we found a shirt and jacket that would be sufficient while the pants were being hemmed. Not as good as my tailored suits of course, but I was in and out and presentable in 30 minutes, and arrived at the wedding in the nick of time. read more

I'm disappointed to see such mediocre reviews of men's warehouse. I've been coming with my partner for years and I'm excited that my son is now renting his first tux through them for prom. The sales reps are all so accommodating and give you sufficient time and recommendations without making you feel pressured. In addition, while it can be pricey to purchase a suit period, I love their sales and clearance. I will continue to keep recommending Men's Warehouse for the men in my life! read more

I have never had such terrible customer service in my life at the Brookfield, WI Men's Warehouse. We had set an appointment for a wedding party a couple weeks prior and called a couple days before to confirm, and received confirmation over the phone that we were set. Got to the store, and they only had time for 1 person. They did not take time to guide us with their selection. They could not be bothered to listen to us, and often got ignored through the process. They tried to pull through and get everyone measured but only 50% of the party got properly measured (missed the inseams and arms.) Overall, they did not make us feel welcome or heard. read more

Not attentive, whether busy or not- you go unnoticed, you may be helped initially and then left forgotten in a dressing room. We attempted to order a suit on three separate occasions. Initially without an appointment and then later with scheduled appointments...it did not make any difference! The workers are either running around or completely hands off. They take people who did not make an appointment in front of those who did. I've never experienced anything like it before. I went in to buy a suit fir promotional interview within my agency. First twenty minutes I was ignored by the sales person and started to leave. I was stopped by sales person who started to help me. I explained I was looking for a suit and would need it in a week time. I'm tall and thinner so he offered to order the dress shorts I was looking at to go along with the suit. I picked out four dress shorts, and after fitting was ready to go. Before checking out I double check in when things would be ready. I was told the dress shirts would be a couple of weeks. When I stated I need them by next week, sales person attitude change and became completely unprofessional with me. I stated this was for promotional interview an need within a weeks time before picking everything out. Sales person chastised me for the color of shirts I picked out, that it would take several weeks to get them and had a really bad attitude. I walked out, the lack of basic customer service skills was appalling. I will never go there again or recommend it to anyone I know. read more

My son amd I both needed suits so we went to Mens Warehouse in Brookfield, which was the closest location for us. I am 6' 3", 200 lbs and the men working there quickly worked to get us fitted and accessorized with all the necessary belts, shirts, ties, socks and shoes. They worked as a team on both of us, and the tailor was also very friendly and available to measure us when we needed her help. We were very impressed with their level of service and we will definitely return to shop for our formal wear and other fine clothing when we need additional attire. We flew into Wisconsin from San Diego for our wedding reception only to realize that my husband forgot his suit at home...oops. Cue us going into this Men's Wearhouse in a panic to find my husband a suit. Everyone that we encountered during our visit here was hugely helpful and the tailor pulled off some magic overnight to make sure that we had a suit to pick up the morning of the reception. We went to purchase a suit for our daughter's wedding. My husband tried on the suit and we were told they would have to order it. We were told the alteration price would be about $17 for the sleeves and $13 for the hem because the pants are all unhemmed. When the suit comes in, my husband gets there and the suit coat and pants are both too big. Now we have to pay over $60 for alterations. I spoke to Michelle and she was not sure what happened with the suit coat but the coat and suit are sold as a package. What? How does that make any sense. So now we have to pay for FULL alterations on the pants - waist, inseam, hem. This was never explained when we bought the suit. She sarcastically did offer to just hem the pants. Thanks Michelle that was certainly helpful and a way to help out an unhappy customer! What a racket!! Their suits are not inexpensive and then they force you to pay for alterations instead of sizing the coat and pants individually. At least 5 employees helped us at the time we ordered it and nothing was right. Stay away from this place!!! read more

A new Men's Wearhouse opened up by me so I stopped in. These peeps are like used-car salespeople. Went in to buy a suit. Spent 700+ on the suit and got a 30 sec fitting. My gut said leave ... but I was there so I completed the sale spending $1100 after I bought some accessories. When I came in to pick up the suit I returned the accessories (shirts, sock & ties) because they were mediocre. The lazy sales-person gave me an attitude because I returned some of the stuff I didn't like. I'll never wear this suit. It fits like a box. An expensive lesson. Horrible experience! Rented tuxedos from Brookfield location for my wedding, I was the groom. This location is total garbage. The old guy (that seems to be a manager) was barking at customers, there is no sense of organization, where to go to get fitted, where to go to pick up tuxedos, nothing. The old guy walked by me three times while I was trying to get his attention and he just yelled, if you are here for pickup you have to go to the front register!! I am your customer, I don't need to be yelled at. Then Men's Wearhouse tuxedos are garbage, my bow tie had a paperclip to secure it! One ushers shoes were coming apart at the sole, then had to come back the next day just to get to the church to find out the sole was worse on the second pair! No offer of a refund nothing!!!! 3 other groomsmen had the pants too short. And I don't mean like an inch no, these were between their ankles and knees! Absolutely ridiculous! We rented 9 tuxedos! I sent a message to complain to their company about what happened, one person, Rachel reached out and emailed me once that she was going to look into it and have not heard back since. NEVER EVER RENT OR BUY FROM THIS OR ANY MENS WEARHOUSE STORE! I know there are other more expensive places to rent tuxedos, you will probably be better off then to rent from Men's Wearhouse!!!!!! read more

I had two experiences at this Men's Warehouse: first was buying the suit on a Saturday. That went... okay. They had a 2-for-1 sale so I got two suits. I did bump into some sticker shock though; last time I bought a suit at Men's Warehouse they must have had 50% off or something because my bill was double what I paid for a single suit last time... so oh well. The sales guy I had was fairly professional and did a good job, and was easy to reason with. There was a 2 week wait for alterations, so had to stick that out. My second experience is the reason for the 1-star review. I went back to pickup my and accessories (I bought two pairs of suspenders) on a Friday night, but one of the suspenders was missing. I asked about it, and was told that you took it home the first time you visited, which I was skeptical about. Went home, checked my stuff - nope, no 2nd pair of suspenders. And I have no recourse to get them back, either - its my word against theirs. The attitude and quality of the employees on the Friday night was much much lower than who I saw on that Saturday - I felt like they weren't there to wait on me, I was there to wait on them. After this experience, I really don't feel like going to Men's Warehouse again. EDIT: Men's Warehouse customer relations contacted me and gave me the suspenders. I'm good. read more

I will never go here again! They were misleading in the price of the tux when I asked the cost. They never emailed me when it was in as they had said they would. When we went to pick up the tux they gave us a wrinkled shirt. Instead of noticing it and fixing it they tried to pass it off to us. Instead of fixing the problem they tried to give him a different shirt that didn't fit. Only when I asked them to steam the first one did they do it. If I am paying $210 for a tux (with the $50 off) they need to give me an outfit that is ready to wear! Also, long wait times for each of these steps. I now know that there are better options that have higher quality and a cheaper price! read more

I bought a suit for a wedding, and asked for it to be sent to the Bluemound store. When I went to pick it up they had sent the wrong suit. This happens, it was an inconvenience, but I didn't think much of it. They said that they would resend it, but I had not received a call on it yet, but just happened to be in the area. When I called to see if it was in, I got the third degree from the sales guy that if I hadn't received a call it wouldn't be in. When I pushed the issue he checked, and surprise, it was in! I came in for the fitting, and not only was the service PAINFULLY slow, but I was charged too much money after getting rung up. The sales guy asked his manager for some help on this, and I could not believe how unprofessional, rude, and cocky the manager's attitude was not only to the salesperson helping me, but also to me. I felt as if we were on some middle school playground and he was on some power trip, showing off some of his big shot stunts. If I never have to go back to Men's Wearhouse again, I will be happy! I came in with my suit which I've worn once. To match a vest when I was in the guy helping me offer to press the suit. When I came in the manger Erin help me I told her those holes on sleeve were not there. That I think the press did something she made excuses and said no moth bite. Ok so I can see I was getting nowhere so she said they can patch it up it would take 15 mins and no charge. Told her needed to check with my husband about the patch cause it was his suit she said sure come back tomorrow. Tom the other manager would be in. So I came today and Tom was very rude and told me that it would be 2 weeks till I got it back and and now a charge for everything. Oh and the hole I said was done by the press the manager today said no it's a wear hole. Which I know there press did it the suit has been worn once the jacket for 10 mins if that and both mangers Erin and Tom have a different story to tell totally dissatisfied with this place they charge so much and rude customer service. This is not how u treat paying customers. Just own up to what happen at your store and fix it. If I could give 0 stars I would read more
