I went and got bubble tea but they do This weird fruit blend thing I got mango and it wasn't a pleasant taste. There were small things floating in the tea that seemed to be mango prices but it just looked like somebody puked in my cup. Also they barely have any of the boba that goes in the tea. Not to mention it was a $6 drink that I had to pour out because I couldn't drink it. Bottom line I will not be going back it's overpriced and stingy I wouldn't recommend. read more

Deplorable service. We waited for several minutes and no one even acknowledged our existence. We were the only ones in the place. There were two people working there one of them was making some kind of a baked good. Finally he turned to the other guy and asked if he would help us when he was done with whatever he was doing. The other guy scoffed as if it were trouble for him. We just walked out and went to another place. If I'm going to spend $4.25 for a latte I expect some pretty happy service and pretty quick too. This was our second time coming to this place. We tried it once before months ago and it was pretty good but this will probably be the last. read more

My fiancé and are coffee and tea lovers. We had snickers cappuccinos and we're not impressed. It was too sweet and didn't taste like coffee. More like a dessert beverage not a coffee. Also we didn't have any pretty designs in the foam, just a huge glob if whip cream which made it even sweeter. Needless to say we didn't finished the coffee because it wasn't coffee. I know this is a coffee place but I am a tea drinker so I always appreciate a place that has a good selection of teas. My husband is a coffee drinker and a very snobby one at that so when he said he liked his coffee I felt like they definitely deserved a solid 5 stars. Decor is nice and cozy, good for meeting up with people of sitting quietly to read/study/work. Pastries and treats looked good, though we didn't try any. Next time we will though! read more

Stopped into this this store while in St Augustine on a warm summer day. My stop in St Augustine was a random one, but I'm glad I did this. We often go to smaller cities and often encounter your regular Starbucks for your coffee. It's always pleasant to find a local mom and pop store to get your delicious coffee. I had a cold coffee if you were wondering. What also make this location neat was its outdoor seating which they share with another store. The area is cozy, beautiful and very peaceful right of the main George street. In all, this was a great experience and I'd recommend this cute store for any coffee lover. I liked this place a Latte! Crucial is definitely a cool spot on the waterway with a fun vibe. The barista and all her magic is inside a little hut with a very neat outdoor garden/seating area. I visited early in the morning. There were disappointingly no treats on display (just some sad little plastic-wrapped leftovers from the day before). Coffee was just OK. It was actually not brewed coffee at all, rather an americano -- a drink too often substituted for brewed coffee w/o asking. I'd return just to sit and read in their little garden. read more

hands-down, the coolest coffee shop i've ever been to (even after visiting the lovely fido in nashville a couple weeks ago). a must-visit if you're in st. augustine! it's literally a little, adorable and beachy shack and the menu seems to change daily in terms of specialty drinks--and at the top, it read "nectar of the gods." cute! the barista was super friendly and made my snickers cappuccino with lotsa loving care. Rather disappointing experience. I came here with my wife after checking out their reviews and pics. Really wanted to try their snickers cappuccino after I saw the review pictures. But it tasted like lukewarm chocolate milk. My wife got the spices Thai coffee. In her own words, it was OKAY! Can't say that we will be visiting this place again. read more

This place takes advantage of tourists by charging twice as much as the other coffee shops a bit further into the old town area. $5 for an iced coffee or tea compared to ~$2 elsewhere at other great little places. The barista didn't listen to the orders, adding additional cream and toppings after requesting not to have them and then only scrapping them off as a "fix". Skip this shop and walk for 2-3 mins further into old town and find the other decently priced, higher quality alternative shops. read more

Had the homemade key lime pie. The barista drizzled something on it before he served it to me. Didn't realize it at the time, but it was honey! I've had key lime pie in Key West and this was actually better. Also had a plain cup of good old American coffee and it was great. The ice cream portions are huge. Cutest coffee shop in all of St. Augustine! Literally a tiny wooden shack, serves up some really fun flavors of coffees and hot chocolates. Very handy due to the cold front that came in this week! Such a cute and romantic little place! After dinner we walked here and had their hot red tea in their mugs, sat outside in their romantic garden with perfect Florida weather. Wow! Amazing selection of coffee and different cold/hot beverages. We've visited this coffee shop twice this week already and we've gotten great service both times. Awesome customer service and very authentic spot in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. My mom ordered a latte and was talking to the barista about how much she loved coffee and he made her a latte with a heart in it because she loved coffee he said. Too sweet! We stopped in Crucial and Gourmet Hut for breakfast. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks regular coffee (too bitter), so Crucial's decaf was absolutely perfect! Smooth without being weak, I felt it had excellent balance. The omelette from the Gourmet Hut was excellent! Service was top notch and quick...we ordered at the Hut and the chef called over our coffee to the Cafe. Between the food, the coffee and the company, it really couldn't get much better : ) read more

The ambiance is great, typical of that old world, St. Augustine feel. I've had great service, and mediocre service (it's a college town, after all, and I presume that the employees may be somewhat transient). My soy latte was tasty, and the outdoor seating pleasant. I was so excited about going here because it looks like such a cool place and I honestly can't explain how disappointed I was. The customer service was TERRIBLE! By far the worst I've had at a coffee place. The girl working took nearly 40 minutes to make 4 cups of coffee. That is absurd. Two of the coffees were supposed to be hot and they were barely even warm. Not to mention all four of them were mediocre at best. My dad couldn't even drink his is was so gross. I'm still disappointed. Cool place but needs new workers and different recipes. Doesn't even deserve one star.... read more
