Both Victor and Chris are friendly throughout the whole process! We took the 25' one slide out for the week and with two people it was easy to drive overall and easy to find places to stay and to boondock. They were available if we had questions about the vehicle or wanted recommendations on where to go along our trip. The unit was a 2017 so pretty clean and up to date. There was plenty of space for us to store our stuff and to bring a week's worth of groceries to cook as well. We set our sights on going to Yellowstone and Jackson via the east entrance but being the second week of Oct it ended up snowing and the entrances were closed. We stayed safe and warm in the RV while we waited it out in Cody, WY for 2 days and then slowly made our way back to Denver. We'd recommend these guys for anyone looking to rent an RV or travel trailer (pull behind) as they have several models to choose from. We'll be back to tent another next year for another adventure!

We picked our RV up at the Cruise America in Castle Rock, Colorado. I will spare you the details, however it became clear as we were packing our things in, the RV had not been cleaned. We spent over an hour cleaning it ourselves which delayed our trip. Later in our trip we realized it had not been dumped either. We cruised America with other people's shit on board and then we dumped it. On our last night, water started leaking onto the floor in the bathroom and kitchen. We hadn't even used the water except for about 10 hours total and the leak damaged some of our belongings. I believe the woman, Lynn, at Cruise America in Castle Rock knew she was giving us a dirty, full RV and took advantage of us being first timers. We have reached out to customer service who said they will be in touch with in a month as there is no phone number only an email for contact. Icing on the cake. Thankfully our stops along the way were beautiful and if we ever do another RV trip we learned it is worth spending more money to get an RV and respectful customer service.

We had an awful experience with Cruise America. We are first time RVers so it was a learning…read moreexperience. When we arrived to pick up the RV it was filthy on the outside which seemed weird but we went ahead with the process. During the time the woman walked us around and showed up things, etc. she turned on the monitoring system for the tanks. They all showed full. The woman said this was normal and they would register empty once we got up and going on the road. We had told her we were going to Moab so she knew it would be below freezing where we'd be. When we went to pack up the RV we had to completely wipe it down and disinfect it. This is ridiculous regardless but especially during COVID. We didn't connect to water in Moab because of the below freezing temps and what we were told by Lynn. When we got to AZ we connected to water and electrical but there was no dumping right at our site. But hey that's ok because our tanks are empty as they should be and like the woman said because we hadn't used water at all. Well my son took one shower and all the water came out below the RV. We did dishes finally and a few people used the bathroom. Within 12 hours the tanks were showing totally full and things were leaking. We couldn't dump where we were so we disconnected from water and stopped using the sink, toilet or shower for the most part. When we got to NM we were excited to be at a Site where there was the ability to dump right there. It was extra gross knowing we were dumping other peoples poop. At least we were able to do dishes finally on day 5 and use the toilet. Or so we thought. There was obvious pipe damage and things were leaking inside now as well. I haven't even mentioned more about how dirty things were but it was bad. When we returned he RV the same woman from the pick up started to help us and then disappeared. Another woman finally took her place and heard about everything and then said all she can do is reimburse $200. She said anything else would have to come from cruise America directly. For some reason we accepted that I think believing we would get something back from cruise America. Well we got an immediate response in an email saying they would respond in 15-30 days. I think that is ridiculous too. I'll end with something positive. Why I have rated this one star is mechanically the car function of the RV was great.

They answered the phone, were polite, and very helpful. Showed up Monday morning, they were polite, funny , helpful. They had all the stuff we needed to keep safe and dry. The special ATV style sunglasses helped keep dirt out of our eyes. The gloves and ponchos were nice to keep us warm in the morning. That had a huge selection of full face helmets. They even recommended that we take only one atv, saving us money and still having a great trip. Their shop is full of atvs, you could take all your buddies no problem. Dave and Dave were pleasant and guided a great trip through the hills. We spent 5 hours with Dave and had a great time. The ATV worked great. No issues there. The scenery was nice, and he checked on us often to make sure we're were safe,rested, and informed. We had a BLAST. Not sure why the other bad review, these gentlemen were just right for a motorized romp on the trails. Thanks Dave and Dave.

Rockhound ATV was some-what disapointing. Leading up the trip, communication with them was bit…read moredifficult as they were not reliable/quick in replying to emails or answering phone calls, but everything did eventually work out with the reservation. Additonally, when I did speak with them on the phone, they were very aggressive/mean about my questions, they implied that I was rediculous to be asking about riding longer than 4hrs and i quote: "now you listen to me, I'll ride your assess off, dont worry about that". I didn't really know how to respond to their gruff/aggresive tone over the phone, but I was still willing to go with the reservation. Then came the day of the rides. Overall, we had a great time, but this was almost "in-spite" of Rockhound. The best parts of the day riding were the views and terrian, riding in Pike's Nat'l forest is breath-taking! With regards to our guide, he was VERY VERY slow and when we asked about riding faster on the straight/flat sections, he yelled at us "no going over 20mph!". We didnt ask about riding more aggressively after that, but it was almost painful to be stuck riding behind our guide. All of us knew what we were doing, and within 1hr he should have been able to sense our comfort-levels and ability, and allowed us to ride faster. I felt like we were on a calm sight-seeing trip, not a fun/thrilling ATV ride. Now, I understand that Rockhound could have incentive to make us go slow the entire time, as the machines could be broken or we could get hurt. But here is why that its a not a good arguement, upon arrival, we had to sign waiver forms stating any injuries we sustained would not be Rockhound's fault. Additonally, we had to give them a $650 (!!!) deposit for any possible damage to the ATVs. This is what really upsets me, i signed a form saying I would have to pay for parts and labor to any damage i created, and i would have to take responsibility for any injuries i sustained...so...I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO RIDE HOWEVER I WANT! The most upsetting part of the whole thing was how mis-leading it was. Leading up the trip, the owner, ATV Dave was telling me over the phone "dont worry about it, we will ride your assess off", when i called with the original plan to rent the ATVs for 8hrs, with no guide and ride on our own...so i listened to him, and changed our plans to the 4hr guided-tour, and then when we go there, they made us ride slow, they scolded us for "sling-shotting" to try and make it fun and just overall didnt live up the promise of a fun/thrilling ride. I wish I hadn't listend to them and just stuck with my instinct on renting the ATVs to ride on our own. Even if you arent familiar with the area, if you got a map and went to Pike's Natl forest on your own, you'd have a lot lot more fun.

The first night at the campground, I used the sink and bugs/ants started coming up the drain... that was just the beginning of the bug issues. They were all over the inside of the rental...let me say that we have camped at this location MANY times, in a tent and cabin, we have never had a bug problem!! They were all over the floors, kitchen table, climbing into our appliances, the bed, our food cupboard, even my husband's pill bottles!!! They told us that since it passed the initial inspection, there was nothing they could do about it and basically we were out in nature where there are bugs and refunded me $200.00...also let me say that their location is nothing but dirt and could very easily have ants/bugs that can get into the vehicles! When returning the vehicle, they asked why we didn't go get bug spray...at which my response was...we were over an hour away from any town and didn't plan on spraying pesticides in an enclosed vehicle we were staying in. I was constantly vacuuming and wiping bugs up with Clorox wipes that we brought with us. We had to cut our trip short and the RV sat in front of our house for 2 days until we returned it...even when I did my final clean up, the bugs were still there and upon returning it, the manager said he saw them. Along with the bugs, we couldn't get the oven to work so it was useless. Please be aware of this company!!

There were differences in rates at Elmonterv.com and Elmonterv.co. They give a deal to those without US addresss. They charge higher rates and miles if you have a US address. Same company but they provide huge discounts for those who don't live-in the USA. You have to read the fine print to find this out. It obvious they prefer renting to those who live outside the USA. We will keep our loyalty to Cruise America.

From start to finish- everybody I dealt with was professional and accommodating. The Motorhome was clean - mechanically it ran like a top and performed great during the entire trip. Dealing with everybody regarding paperwork, contracts, pick up/drop off and information prior to the trip was seamless and smooth. They run a small business like it's supposed to be run - with integrity, honor, and commitment. Wouldn't hesitate to rent from B&B again
