Cruisin Cafe was at the 2nd Annual Wine Festival at Canton, Baltimore..
    Tosharo B.

I was introduced to Cruisin café at the second annual wine festival in Baltimore.. The food was served from their food truck.. They were very professional, friendly and accommodating.. The food was very creative and so delicious.. The next time I'm in the Baltimore area i'm definitely eating at Crusin café..

I realized that I have eaten at the food stand a few times. Once at Rash field in a battle of the cities, once at the food truck meet up in Hampden and finally by accident close to my house in Canton. The truck was parked close by, so we walked over and checked it out. They were actually catering an event, but they hooked us up with a free crab cake sandwich. It was delicious. I have only tried the signature "crabby fries" the previous two times. I highly recommend them as well. (crab dip on french fries). I won't forget Cruisin Cafe again.

Went again and this time got the crab cake sandwich with fries. Delicious again. The crab cake was a little soft and got smushed every time I took a bite, but it was still very good. Tip: I'd make sure to ask for utensils and napkins even if you think you might not need them because this yummy meal can get messy!

I don't leave reviews often, but I felt inclined after trying this fabulous food truck. Found it parked nearby UMD medical center and was awed by the crabby frenchfries - which is what it sounds like - but better. Also be sure to ask the super chill dude working there for a sample or two; he is the man. Thanks for a great meal guys.

I had a mocha latte and this Iranian Chocolate Pop-Tart thing that was awesome.... I really need to start taking pictures of my food and these places. The ambiance is that of a coffee house but this coffee house is an old historic building with natural wood floors and big windows. The layout is convenient for having a mix of seating and the volume was such that we could hear our party but not feel like we were screaming. The coffee was good. the people friendly, the snacks (ok not a meal but too much to ignore from the experience) the snacks were delightful. My wife almost ate half of my Pop-tart it was so good. Ok, this one gets a definite try, the locals seemed to like it, it was close-ish to Columbia, and worth checking out.

Every day, I order my caramel crunch swirl drink with whipped cream and an extra shot of espresso, plus both a mango smoothie and a strawberry‑banana smoothie. Their drinks are exceptional -- and their smoothies are honestly the best I've ever had anywhere. I recognized Farouk the very first day I walked in, even before I knew why. He used to serve me at Rita's across the street, and he's one of those rare lights of a human you never forget -- not because of what they say, but because of how they make you feel. When he looked up and said, "How are you, my friend? I used to serve you at Rita's!" everything clicked. He remembers my name. He remembers my complicated daily order to the letter. He greets me with warmth every single time -- even when I walk in two minutes before closing. And unlike so many places these days, he never shows irritation or rushes me. He makes me feel valued. One night, I accidentally called 30 minutes after they had already closed -- and Farouk still answered the phone, cheerfully, by name, and took my order anyway. Only after confirming it would be ready did he gently mention their Sunday hours. He still insisted I come pick it up. That kind of customer service is almost unheard of today. There's also Yani, who is shy but incredibly talented. She listens with her whole heart and makes drinks that feel like little works of art. She puts genuine care into every cup. And the kindness doesn't stop there. I've been surprised with freebie drinks when there was extra smoothie mix, offered a mistaken drink for free, and even had two drinks remade after I dropped them in the parking lot. Farouk saw it happen, took the empty cups from my hands, and recreated them without hesitation. Moments like these create customers for life. Coffee Beanery deserves a solid 5 stars across every platform. ---

I'm not typically a hot coffee drinker but the barista recommended it with the white chocolate seasonal flavor and wow I was blown away. Both of the ladies working were friendly and helpful answering any questions I have and giving their recommendationsZ The croissant alone will ensure that I return to Cafe Luli. It was not overly sweet but was so delicious and soft. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cookie, but I am not typically a thin and crispy cookie girl. The Alfajores were also a sweet treat, melting in your mouth. The ambiance is very cute. It feels homey and smells so good when you walk in. The prices are comparable to other coffee shops in my opinion. There appears to be an upstairs area but I didn't not explore that area today as I was running around doing errands.

I ordered the Middle Eastern Combination Platter ($12.95) which came with 3 pieces of falafel, 2 small grape leaves, an incredibly small portion of hummus, babaganoush, foul (fava bean stew), tahini sauce, pita bread and a "Mediterranean salad". The falafel was too hard on the outside that I could not pierce my fork through it. It was almost as if they deep fried it multiple times. In addition, there was wayyyy too many cumin seeds in the falafel. The grape leaves were just ok and filled with a rice mixture. The foul was also full of cumin. The menu states that feta cheese is included, but I received none. The "Mediterranean salad" was not a Mediterranean salad at all. It was more like a cheap garden salad with cucumbers, tomato, lettuce, and carrots. I also ordered the mixed lamb & chicken kabob ($15.95) which only came with rice, onions, roasted green peppers and tomato, and a bland tahini sauce. There were no mushrooms as the menu stated there would be. Both the lamb and chicken were dry and had no flavor to them. I was pretty disappointed with this place. So let me tell you what we DIDN'T get. I'm a huge fan of feta cheese so I was sorely put out when the feta cheese cubes were missing, and the grape leaves were about the width of your ring finger and didn't have much taste. The fool was chunky and lacking in flavor and the tahini sauce and salad dressing were watery. We also got a Four Seasons pizza but my BF said that the crust had a vague cinnamon flavor to it that he found odd. We spent $50+ and I just thought, "Meh." I would not be so harsh if I hadn't gone to Habib Meditteranean in Glen Burnie the week before and had some food that I thought was pretty darn terrific.
