Bought my 66 chevelle super sport from this place. I got the car it was leaking oil like crazy from the rear of the intake manifold, missing body bushings cracks in the paint by the rear window . The dealer copped me 1200 bucks or so fast forward to 200 miles later the battery explodes acid everywhere from 2 body screws pointing up into the batter and the acid ate the aluminum finish on the grille and the rear end went out. The bolts from the rear end backed out cause they came loose! This place sucks and I'll never get anything from them again! read more

I had been looking for a classic car for quite some time. I found one that Cruisin' Classics had. I messaged them and set up an appointment. I arrived and was greeted and taken back to see the car. When looking at a 60 year old car, there is some issues to be expected, especially at the price point I was looking at. Joel Took his time and let me go through all details of the car. Seth also came out and assisted with any questions I had. When I decided to go through with the purchase, John walked me through the details. I purchased around the holidays, and with the weather and such, it was a lengthy time before I could pick up the car. John assured me that it wasn't a problem to keep it there until I could pick it up. He even offered me the option to come in and take it out on nice days if I wanted. on 1/31/2024 I purchased a 1966 Ford Mustang. I opted not to have an independent inspection done prior to purchasing it because I was believed ****, the salesman, when he said this is a solid car and a solid driver. I received the car from the shipping company on 2/14/2024, and he day I received the car, I noticed the engine made a loud clunk and shook hard when I started it. The power steering also made a grinding noise when turning the wheel. I took it to a local classic car mechanic and he said he won't know exactly how bad it really is until he gets into it, but said he can almost guarantee the starter & flywheel need taken out and fixed, the balancer needs replaced because it wobbles, the power steering leaks, transmission leaks, rear axle seal leaks, the fuel tank was vented into the trunk (can smell gas while sitting in the car), all 4 brakes squeal, the passenger door has a golf ball size rusted hole in the bottom corner of it, the rear tires had gashes in the tread and had to be replaced, all window & door seals are shot, the entire trunk underneath is extremely rusted (including part of frame that is actually broken) almost all of the chrome is pitted, passenger mirror is about ready to fall off. I could easily go on with more issues that I found, but I won't. This car was completely misrepresented as a solid car and a good solid driver. I can't even drive it until the engine/transmission and other serious issues get fixed, because it will damage the parts further. I have to let it sit in my garage until I the mechanic can get it in, 2-3 weeks. Who knows what else he will find wrong with it once he starts getting into it. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I made my way down to Columbus to visit Cruisin' Classics. I had been looking for a first generation (NA) Miata when a photo of a very nice second generation (NB) Miata popped up on Autotrader. The Cruisin' Classics website had a more comprehensive catalog of photos of this car, including good detail shots of the engine pay and multiples of the undercarriage. On the way down, I also stopped at a new car dealership in Toledo that had a similar Miata (year, mileage and content), as listed, but that looked & felt fairly ragged. Not knowing what to expect, we continued on to Columbus and met Dave, who went with me for a test drive. It should be noted that Cruisin' isn't just a sales facility but one at which many classic cars are stored by their local owners. It was also obvious that the Miata was a bit of an odd duck for them, as it was both a fairly late model and inexpensive car compared to what they had on their sales floor. That didn't matter, as I felt totally welcome and the Miata didn't seem to be anything other than another interesting member of an "eclectic family" of cars. I went for a drive with Dave, who couldn't have been more easy-going (obviously enjoys the hanging with people that care about cars), he answered all of my questions in about as even & unassuming way as possible, and when it came time to talk about whether I was interested in purchasing it, the total discussion lasted about 10 minutes. No drama, no change in the even demeanor that was visible through the whole process. At this point, the car is still at Cruisin' Classics while the financing is formalized, and I'll return to get it later this month. If you can, it's a much better experience if you have your financing set up beforehand; I had a pre-approval letter from my Credit Union and this seems to have been a big help in having the discussions be solely about the car. I'll update when I pick up the car, add a photo then... Until then, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cruisin' Classics for anybody looking for both a unique set of wheels and a cool set of people to deal with. Cheers! read more

All i can say is they have a great photographer. Just bought the prettiest Oldsmobile Cutless Convertible i could find on the internet. when i received it the paint was probably as bad as i've seen, the top had several holes with super glue in them, the back bumper was dented , the arm rest was split, there is something wrong with steering. I could go on but the point is when your spending over 30K spend the extra few bucks catch a plane and go see it. read more
