Mark Wahlberg Chevy West Broad Street

I'm a disabled father of two children, one of whom has special needs. When I purchased a 2014 Chevy Traverse from Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet, I was looking for a reliable, safe vehicle to get my family where we need to go--doctor's appointments, therapies, and the everyday life of raising a family. Instead, I was met with ongoing mechanical issues and disappointing service. From the beginning, I was pressured into purchasing unnecessary service packages that didn't fit my budget or needs. I made it clear what I was looking for, yet I felt rushed through the process without having the time or support to make an informed decision. Within weeks of purchase, the vehicle began slipping gears and stalling without warning. I contacted the service department several times about the issues and open recalls, but it was difficult to get anyone to return calls or provide clear answers. When I finally got an appointment, communication was poor, and it felt like my concerns were dismissed. As a disabled parent, reliability and safety aren't optional--they're essential. This vehicle was supposed to be a dependable family car. Instead, it has caused unnecessary stress, financial strain, and worry for my kids' safety. I'm sharing this so other families, especially those with unique needs like mine, can make an informed choice. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet based on my experience. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve how they treat their customers--especially those who depend on them most.

I wanted to get my car a once over before a 1000 mile trip . They were very nice and efficient . The waiting area was nice enough for me to spread out a little and crochet.

Meeting Mark for the first time. He didn't really talk.

I have to say this was a pleasant experience. Unlike any I've ever had especially from a dealership. Usually you come out worn and beaten but I walked out not only with a new vehicle but a handshake and smile. Thanks guys!

I was hoping for more from my Marky Mark experience. Sales man was aloof and made me feel like a PITA for test driving a used Kia--which he was vocal about not being able to answer my specific questions, because "he doesn't sell KIAs." Fake it till you make it, bruh! I would never purchase a Chevy or GMC, but if you're into that, make sure you work a kiss from the genuine Mark Wahlberg into your deal. PS. No one in the showroom was wearing masks which added some anxiety for me although I'm fully vaxxxxed.

The worst customer service and communication out there but my car got fixed. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

He was responsive and provided answers for everything I asked. I was an out of state buyer and when I arrived everything went smoothly, the car was exactly what I wanted, and there were zero surprises. I'm glad I went with Toyota West to secure my dream car and I highly recommend you see Donavon to help you with your purchase.

Very disappointed with our experience at Toyota West…read more We purchased a used 2024 Toyota Sienna and only after bringing it home discovered it was a Canadian-market vehicle. This was never disclosed to us. The VIN is not recognized by Toyota's U.S. website or app, we cannot change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and we cannot use features such as remote start. State Farm also could not validate the VIN without manually entering the vehicle information. We asked for a copy of the Carfax before purchasing but were only shown part of it. Had we received the full report, we would not have purchased this car!! We tried to work with the dealership to make this right. However, our only options were to pay more to "upgrade" to another vehicle with nearly 20,000 more miles, or take a base-model Sienna as an "even exchange," meaning we would lose many of the features on the vehicle we originally purchased and it was a lesser value. We were also told we had to make a decision that day. The salesman said we could not drive their car for free. We felt VERY stressed and pressured. We are extremely disappointed that we were put in this position because important information about the vehicle was not disclosed to us before the sale. We expected transparency and full disclosure on such a major purchase. I really thought they would make this right and we would leave happy. Instead we left upset and feeling taken advantage of.

Summary: This is the worst automobile dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with…read more On my first visit to the dealership, I test drove a car I was interested in. The car had an apparent mechanical issue (uneven rotor wear, scraping in the brakes) that me and my two accomplices pointed out to a sales manager, Javon, who came to ask us about our test driving experience. He tells us he'll have the service manager check it out, and returns with "there is nothing wrong with the car," citing it as typical noise from the "rejuvenating brakes" (a likely misinterpretation of the "generative braking" system in the hybrid vehicle I was looking at) but offered a $350 discount nonetheless. Since I had test driven other vehicles of the same year and model that lacked such a noise, I was adamant that there was an issue with the car. The discount wasn't quite cutting it for me at the time, and I walked. Next week, I call the dealership and ask them to take a closer look at the vehicle; if they can fix the issue, I am still interested. After several days and many follow-up texts from my end, their reply: "The vehicle will be sold as is." Okay, fine---"what can you do for the price?" Full price. I ask for a sales manager, specifically Javon. After a few more calls, I am connected to a sales manager Ty, because Javon is "busy". Ty offers the original $350 discount, delivered by lieu of removing an optional $250 fee and taking $100 off the ticket price. When called out for this behavior, says it's the best he can do. Once again, I walk. Another week goes by, the vehicle has been on the market over 90 days now (I did my research) so I reach out again to see if I can negotiate. I ask for the sales manager, Javon, not once, not twice, but three times over the course of four hours. Each time the front-desk associate reassures me that he will call me back immediately, sometimes citing false time estimates like 10 minutes, one hour, or anything in-between. Not a single call was returned. The next day (that's today!) I call. The phone is answered by front-desk associate Mark, and after explaining my frustrations to him, Mark tells me he can get an out-the-door price with the original $350 discount, and no optional fees. I tell him that would be great, send the paperwork my way. In the midst of discussing payment options with Mark, the call drops. I call back immediately (less than 20 seconds) and am greeted by a different associate (the same voice that had consistently reassured me I'd be receiving a call from Javon as soon as possible). I explain to her that I was just on a call with Mark and would like to be reconnected with him. But... she can't do that; Mark is now "busy assisting another customer", but no worries, he'll call me back "as soon as possible". I ask her to keep me on the line, and transfer me to Mark; he obviously did not pick up a new call and get into the thick of it with a new customer in the less-than-20 seconds it took me to call back. She leaves me on hold for a minute or two, and repeats the same thing. I tell her the situation, and she says that she can send the out-the-door paperwork to me instead. Great, just get me the price at this point, right? 30 minutes goes by, then an hour, then an hour and a half and still, not a single out-the-door quote. I call them back around the one-hour mark, and they assure me they are getting everything together and sending it over momentarily! In total, I called this dealership eighteen times and did not have a single call returned. It appears they use time-wasting tactics made to whittle down your sanity, hoping you'll jump for the full ticket price of a vehicle. I will no longer be wasting my time with this dealership, and encourage anyone with a shred of self-decency to take their business elsewhere. Also, Auto Boutique: don't reply to this review unless you are prepared to offer me genuine, financial compensation and a manager who actually cares about how their business is run. I don't want more cheap, AI-generated messages or more time-wasting phone calls.
