I tried Crumbl for the first time at this location and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the cookies! I don't have a big sweet tooth so I was kind of hesitant to buy their cookies but ended up trying their Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk and their French Toast cookies. I didn't know that these cookies were 1) huge and 2) served warm! I absolutely loved that they are warm, making them a bit gooey in the center yet crispy outside. The Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk had a great balance between the sweetness of the cookie dough, the bitter chocolate chips, and the salt flakes sprinkled on top. I didn't enjoy the French Toast as much simply because it was too sweet for me but I have to say it really did taste like french toast. I was amazed that they were able to get the top frosting to taste like butter. In terms of the store, there are screens available for you to place an order yourself or go up to the counter to order with a staff member. There is also another screen that shows you the progress of your order. I did wish that there was more space in the front of the store, especially where folks were waiting to pick up the order. That space is quite crammed and everyone had to keep moving out of each other's paths. I would definitely recommend at least trying Crumbl at least once! read more

So happy that Crumbl came to Dorchester! I did not check the menu ahead of time because I wanted to be surprised. I went with the peanut butter chocolate cookie and a chocolate chip cookie. They were both so good! The inside is on the small side but it does not take long to get your order. The service was great and the staff moved quickly with the line. read more

Thus far I've been driving 40 minutes to get Crumbl on the north shore. Given that I would be willing to drive that far for CoOkIES, you can imagine my excited at there being one only 10 minutes from me in South Bay now. Beware, it's a *little* hard to find- it's hidden in a little alley way behind the movie theater and Japanese BBQ place. Crumbl is consistently delicious and the rotation of flavors always makes you want to stop by when you are around. Tried ordering on the app for a delivery to a friend that lives by here. At some point the order just got cancelled. No refund. It's basically impossible to reach this store location. I left multiple messages and got no response. Had to go through their customers support to get the refund. The excuse they gave me? 'It's Crumbl's birthday so there's more orders than usual.' Seriously reconsider doing delivery from this location. I ended up ordering delivery from Insomnia. They took less than an hour to deliver the cookies AND texted me updates every step of the way. They're scammers. They took my money today and wouldn't do the refund despite them creating their own hours which allowed people to submit orders they wouldn't fulfill and wouldn't cancel. I'll never be back again. Today I went to the store and had already set my order for pickup but when I got there it said the store was closed and to not check in, but, again, I already did because I didn't see that sign in advance and it didn't warn me in the app. The crumbl app says you need to contact the local store directly to get the refund. I tried calling them just to ask for the refund since their door was locked and they weren't coming forward. I no longer wanted the cookie at that point, but still no answer. I went back to the store and knocked on the door despite the sign because I needed someone to just do the refund. I saw my name come up on the screen and go away, so something definitely went through in their system. When I knocked on the door a wise guy came to the window and points at their sign, as if I can't read that. I'm trying to tell them just reverse the charge and I'll be done. The workers start laughing and pulling out their phones, as if to record or maybe call authorities, so I went to the police who were stationed there. They were more than kind. They went to knock and big man with the bald head comes out saying "hey, boss" to the officer, like he's so friendly, knowing he's been an arse. He tells the officer we need to hit refund in the app because "everyone's been doing that today with no problems". Who is everyone? Not me. Also, everyone I came in contact with (about 15ish people, 6 different families) were confused, so how can he know what they've done if they weren't even opening the door for people? No greeter to give support for refunds or anything. Then I asked him how to do the refund in the app he said he didn't know. So you work here and don't know, but expected me and everyone else to do it? He didn't even have a name tag on. I wouldn't want cookies from him anyways. He made me lose my appetite. The officers even said he's not helpful. So I try to find customer support with the officers, and the officers even saw that the refund had to be done through the local store. I contacted the customer support chat but that takes 48 hours for a response. So I will dispute with my credit card company once the charges post because I see now that Crumbl doesn't value service just sugary cookies and money. I had to learn the hard way. Coming to our community and being disrespectful to us will not last. I am a very rationale and kind person, but others who take pride in our community are not so much, just keep that in mind when you have smiles about someone's misfortune. You are still human and have to leave from that glass building. Laughing at us knocking was crazy, but what goes around comes around. The business prospects for Crumbl aren't the best either, so I hope they all have resumes ready in advance. A simple refund was all I asked for, I don't argue with people. I didn't want the cookies anymore nor to argue. I can tell it made big man mad I got the cops involved, seems like he hates smart people of color, but it was better for me to do it than them. I won't be going back and neither will the dozen plus people I know who go weekly. They're on the way out anyways. Basic customer service goes a long way. Trust I understand they were swamped, but refusing to come to the door and smiling at us was out of control. If there's anything else I can do to escalate this outside of crumbl, like have the store shut down in general, I will because you can tell these people don't even respect us. I've tried Crumbl at another location before and was excited to hear that they were opening up at South Bay! The staff here are very friendly and the service is really fast. Crumbl has 6 flavors available at any given time and they switch up the flavors every week. You can see them making the cookies fresh as you enter the store. We tried the peanut butter cup, churro, peach cobbler, chocolate chunk, and the peanut butter cookies & cream. Out of all these, my husband and I liked the peanut butter cookies & cream the most but the chocolate chunk is a solid option as well. The cookies had a nice soft texture but they were a bit too sweet for my taste. Looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors in the future! read more

I've been disappointed by Crumbl before, but I have to shout out this location for absolutely killing it. Cookies were warm, huge, a little underbaked- typical Crumbl. The staff were AMAZING. I brought up an allergy and they immediately went to check the ingredients. That's never happened. They also were extremely kind when I struggled with the app, and let me substitute cookies that weren't on the app but in stock in the store. Now, let's talk about those cookies - they are pure bliss! The variety and quality make every indulgence worthwhile. However, if I had one small suggestion, it would be to consider expanding the space a bit. The current layout feels a tad cramped, and the location, though charming, is somewhat hidden among the South Bay stores. Perhaps a more prominent spot could elevate the overall experience. Despite these minor considerations, my love for the cookies and the wonderful staff keeps me coming back for more! I love how each week we get a different rotation of cookies, it's always exciting coming to crumbl and hope they stay here at Southbay! This is something that was definitely needed in Dorchester !
