I ordered a new sliding door and a storm door from Lowes to be installed. Crume was contracted to do the work. They arrived when they said the would and not only was both doors installed amazingly well, but they also took away the old doors and cleaned everything up very well. They also showed us everything about the doors and how to adjust if we ever need to. Brooklyn was sent to install dishwasher. Terrible experience. She didn't know the basics. Said shut off value was not working. It was. She shut off main in house and then the main in the yard. She didn't let the water left in lines drain before making assessments that all wayar valves were broken. Very poor experience. Manager Micah didn't help. The installer called on installation day and arrived early per my request. He was cordial & efficient. The entire process including removal & replacement took less than 1/2 hour. Customer service is horrible!!! They are supposed to call you to schedule but instead they use an automated system that calls you and tells you what time they will be there! This is the total opposite of the courtesy call that Lowes says you will receive so you can work within your schedule. Extremely poor communication and customer service. The first appointment they made to install our stove, the driver told us it wasn't in the store. (We called the store. Guess what? It was there.) The second delivery date, we got a call in the morning that the driver/installer DID NOT HAVE A TRUCK to bring it to us. On a recent purchase I placed with Lowe's I was informed by phone the install would happen in 2 days. Later during the same day I received a sneaky text message rescheduling the install 10 days later without my consent! A call to Crume Installation did not resolve the scheduling issue which resulted with me canceling my order with Lowe's. The main weight in this mishap is certainly with the third party provider but Lowe's also has some butter on its head. That day came and went. So did the next. Total silence. Over the course of five weeks, Lowe's tried and failed to get this job scheduled. Crume was their last hope -- and Crume did exactly what other reviews here already warned me about: they ghosted me completely. I've since read Crume's growing list of 1-star reviews and complaints. It's clear this is not a fluke. It's a pattern of incompetence, communication breakdown, and total disregard for customers' time. Have tried to get three toilets we purchased from Lowe's installed two times without success. Crume has been inflexible and very difficult to work with. They dictate installation times that are over 10 days out and only in the afternoon. if you don't agree with their date and time, you will have to wait another 10 days. Cecil was our installer and was extremely prompt on the day we scheduled. He came within our designated window and he did such great work installing our dishwasher. He was extremely careful not to scratch our countertops or hurt anything in the process. He checked before he left for any kind of issues and make sure everything was working promptly. He was extremely kind to my daughter who was a little afraid of a stranger in the house. He even gave her the dishwasher box at the end to use as a house which made her entire month. Delivery and installation of a dishwasher was scheduled for a Monday between 9am and 12 noon. At 11 am that Monday we called and were assured the installer was on his way about 45 minutes out, and that they (dispatch) had just talked to him to confirm this. At 1:30 still no show so we called again. They said they would call him and find out what is up and call us back. At 3 pm we get a text from their phone number that does not accept replies that the installation was cancelled and would be rescheduled for the Sunday. Lost a day's pay waiting for the no show on Monday, now we must stay home Sunday morning to wait for a guy that probably does not work Sunday and will reschedule again? Location: Tampa Florida area. Lowes needs to do better than hiring these third-party installation services brokers. read more

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We bought our dishwasher from Lowe's on the 19th of December. It was delivered to our home in a reasonable time frame... maybe a week. However, it is February 6th and we don't have a working dishwasher installed. It took them seven weeks to install it and it doesn't work. The first time, they showed up they said the hoses were too short. They didn't bring a longer hose so they forced us to buy new hoses that were longer. So why is installer not prepared with longer hoses and drain lines if this is a common problem. So, the installer forced us to create a new work order so they could come back after we receive the hoses. Good luck talking to a person at Crume. It takes them a minimum of two days to call you back with a a computer automated scheduler. It then takes two weeks to schedule an appointment. Crume cancelled two consecutive appointments without notifying us and there was no priority of getting it done sooner if when they were at fault. We took time off work and waited for them to show up. We had to call to find out why they were late only to find out that they were not coming at all and put the install on hold. After two cancellations on their part doing exactly the same thing, they finally showed up a week later and installed our dishwasher. When they were done, I asked if they tested it and they said yes and left. When they left, I ran the dishwasher and in five minutes or less I get a dishwasher drainage error indicating a kinked hose or sump issue. I called them right away. Crume didn't come back and forced me to schedule another workorder. It's taken them five days to schedule me for another two weeks out. I called every day since for five days trying to get a better schedule, because we were without a dishwasher. They took the dishwasher that was working and installed one that didn't work. Every time I call, I get put on hold for 20 minutes and they say they will call me back which they never do. I had to go to Lowe's store manager to put pressure on them to come back sooner. Surprisingly, when the Lowe's store manager called them, I get their automated scheduler to call me again scheduling the return trip a week out. Not a person, a computer calls me back. I have already lost five days trying to schedule their third attempt, so another week almost puts us out two weeks again. read more

I had a Whirlpool range installed this week, and what to thank the installers Demonta Mckell and Lakisha Clay for an excellent job! They both were very careful and conscientious to care of my home and the installation of the range. They were meticulous in removing that blue tape and they worked cohesively that produced a great experience. I was very pleased in their work. However; the Crume company needs to improve in their initial scheduling of the installs to question customers if we have steps or anything that would take more than one installer to do. It is costly to the customer to schedule time off for an appointment for install, then only one person shows up; but it a two person job. A day wasted and takes another day to reschedule. Five stars for installers; but two stars for Crume's scheduling process. read more

Purchased a microwave at Lowes apparently Crume Installation has the contract with Lowe's for installation services. I was given a date of 5/29/25 for installation between 2pm-5pm. Long story short the installer ( Bob) never showed. He apparently called well after 5pm when my wife was line dancing and had her phone on silent mode. Our Ring doorbell had him showing up at the door around 6:10-6:15pm. My wife was not home and I was taking a shower. The installation was never done. A simple phone call before 5pm would have avoided this mess. I was assured this morning that a supervisor would call me . . . still waiting. Not impressed by Crume. Poor communication. My wife called several times to make sure someone was coming. Poor customer service. The only reason I gave them 1 star was because there were no other options. read more

It's unbelievable. The left side of the microwave is hanging down because they actually stripped the bolt going down from the cabinet above and of course there are no more microwaves to be had of this brand.
